but if all you've seen of the moon landings are pictures and videos, then how do you know that these are not fake? That is why the question should be about belief, since it is up to you, the viewer, whether or not you believe what you see. If you saw the event with your own eyes, or spoke to an astronaut who did, then it is a different story. However, in this conversation many (not saying all, just many) of us have not done the above, and there for should just answer if you believe.

All mods I've state I"ve used along side each other (mini KSPIE, I don't use that one ) and they all work together without fault. I do not use MKS OKS, but instead use just the USI LS mod, so I do not know whether or not that changes out EL works. By using just USI LS though, nothing is changed or made more complicated.

But if you all you've seen of the moon landings are pictures and videos, then it is up to you to decide whether or not you believe we have landed on the moon.

1.3 And More: Confirmed Features
nascarlaser1 replied to Garrett Kerman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Given that @RoverDude is part of squad staff (to some extent, given his little name under his picture) maybe they could add USI LS into the mix like they did with the spaceplane mod all those versions ago.- 188 replies

if you want off world industry, OSE workshop and EPL (extra planetary launch pads) are your friend. EPL lets you build entire ships on other planets and in orbit, and OSE workshop is and add on of KIS and KAS which let you build pieces of ships (like batteries) off world as well, not to mention that KIS and KAS let you build entire rovers off world, by bringing the pieces with you, saving you the pain of figuring out how to strap the awkward thing to the top of a rocket . For Tech tree I personally use the ETT (engineering tech tree) which starts you off unmanned, and lets you choose where you go from there, and it is designed to be used with modded games. The Historical Tech tree also looks interesting, but since I do not use it my self, I'm not sure if it fits your playing style. PBS (planetary base systems) and Deepfreeze continued are great extra mods for the LS side of things, not to mention that with PBS you can set up cool bases on other planets. MKS OKS also lets you build bases and is designed to work specifically with USI LS (they are made by the same person) but it can get extremely complicated and is very hard to get right. I'm not sure if USI conflicts with the KSPIE, but I'm pretty sure it wont, especially if you have the Community Resource packet installed. Finally, I extremely recommend CKAN, if you don't have it already. CKAN will tell you what mods conflict which, installs the mods for you, to make sure they go in the right spot, installs any and all required mods (like KIS and KAS if you get OSE) and not only does it do all that, it also gives you an entire list of recommended mods to choose from, that you can choose whether or not they get installed. Also, last but not least, CKAN will alert you when your mods need to be updated, and will update them all for you, with just the push of a button!! (make sure you have the up to date version of KSP though, or you'll break your game like I did lol). Hope this helps!

Would rain be pure visual, or effect different parts? My WIP list of ideas for effects is: When you land a plane or apply brakes to your rover you may skid a little because of wet terrain/wheels Downpours could cause sever visibility loss, which could effect flying ("Hey look, that mountain wasn't there a second ago!!!") In a snowy biome (like the artic) the rain would be snow, which could cause lack of visibility and cause certain mechanisms to lose efficiency due to cold weather. Note: ^^^^ is all subject to change as the discussion continues.

I believe that we (as in people themselves, not talking about a specific country or place, just as a general we) have landed on the moon. I also believe that there is such a thing as physics, or as atoms, or that there is a rock out there somewhere called Pluto, without having ever seen or experienced any of the above. It is not a matter of "Have we?" it is a matter of "do we believe we have?"

What Do You Use Space Stations For?
nascarlaser1 replied to AWESOMEPIEMAN's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I use mods like EPL, so I build the station with the orbital Launchpad, then launch all my mun/minimus missions from it to save time/fuel/weight. -
I have the spacedock mod, which allows me to use both it and EPL to build the ship in orbit already, and I also only plan on going to eve or duna, then transferring from said planet to all the others, + using the EPL orbital Launchpad that I have strapped to the top of my mothership, I will set up a mining colony, which will allow me to refill the ship on site,+ add any needed fuel tanks and extra LS I may need if my calculations are off.

I don't really care about efficiency, I care more about how long I have to sit and wait since I do not have much play time .

How many Kerbals do you have stationed on the Mun ?
nascarlaser1 replied to Triop's topic in KSP1 Discussion
1. And he shall never return until I figure out how to do rescue missions. -
I'm not sure. I lined up the boxes so that they fit in line with the rest of the dock thing. Does the craft file help? (I cant test it right now though . I broke my game and only have a backup of the save, but no game itself. The back up is from last week though so nothing from the problem should change if you need another craft file).
-
would using tiny little metal rods (don't remember their name, but they look like the things used for building skyscrapers) to attach the containers to the space dock help? I still cant figure out why they wont attach properly .
-
yayay! can I also just play with the save in general? or will there be any rules for using the public released one, like in the regular one?
-
thxs! I have the deepfreeze mod installed, which allows me to use cryogenics to freeze my Kerbals, which stops them from using LS supplies for how ever long they are frozen.
-
oh ok thxs.

I have 0 idea what a transfer window is, nor do I know how to use maneuver nodes (the farthest I've gone is minimus), so cant I just burn straight ahead till my orbit intersects my target planet (taking inclination into account of course) and then use deepfreeze to wait out the timewarp till I have an encounter? If so, how would I use the TWP calculator, and would my LS numbers end up changing at all? p.s. I'm using an interplanetary mothership, so I will take an extra 5 weeks supply onboard (regardless of how much I need for the actual mission), along with enough deepfreeze gear for all 36 people.

I currently have my KSP game broken (I should never be allowed near any ksp patcher ever again lol) so I am restricted to only web applications till I have time to reinstall it (I have it from the main site, so no steam for me )
