Thanks for the update ^* It would be really Nice if you could link this thread too the Xbox1/PS4 part of the Forums also? I'm sorry im lazy but when looking thru Forums, i normaly go straight too the Source ^* And i've missed this thread. -
The thing is, they dont talk about it at all (the gamebraking bugs that is). Dont get me wrong, i've had Sal_vager posting about it in some of the threads, so i bet some of them know about the problems in the game. What scares me, is the total silence. Not a Word officialy about the problem With not beeing able too progress thru a Career, or prolly any gamemode going on, With lots happening in the game. And With that Missing savefiles & Corrupt games. You cant make bases for instance, cuz it will just max out Your game way too fast, and break it. So Yeah, what better strategy for keeping Money rolling in, then just "whiping it under the carpet". My Guess is that if they wore too post anything about this themselves, it would just make it so much easier too actually get the refund we so clearly deserve. But no way Squad would man up too that.. as it might also be FT that actually made the "misstake" With the bug. Anyways, we as costumers didnt get what we thought we paid for. Fooled me...

I think using the Angle Snap mode is a must. Its the Icon bottom left. When you got angle snap Off, it shows a Dot within a Circle, When you got angle snap on, it shows as the pic under. Dot With a Hexagon around it. (thanks too Wiki for this pic.) This should make it alot easier too Place parts. Also use the Symmetry Mode With either bilateral or radial symmetry. You dont Place left wing, then right wing, but Place them mirrored, both at the same time.

think i read somewhere, that someone changed the settings on how long the button had too be pressed, for a Tap or something. i think default was 0.5, ha had changed it too something lower, and it totaly messed up the game. Could you have changed any settings for the Controllers? Thinks theres a "bar" on the right side of it.... -

Nah, not sure what starts it, but i Guess nothing With docking. And as described in my thread, its not a fix, but a workaround. Wait, or make an action, that makes the game "autosave", then leave as i said above. Thing is, it might take a while for the game too autosave, unless one makes some kind of change, like sending a Sci - Message too KSC or sumthing, maybe? .... -

check out this one. probably same thingy. Try going too EVA if possible (if you got a kerbal With you), then Try go too SpaceCenter. -

Yupp, theres the problem, same as my m8s. Doing too much in Space atm just wont work. And if you think about it, its nada about cloud, i'd bet you could inplug ur internett cable and try again. It wil fail the same way. I saw Sal-Vager claming the same, but i dont buy it. Havent tried, but think you can play in offline mode. My m8 tho, i had him delete all saves, exept Persistent And Quicksave. He has only 2 Crafts in load menu. After doing this, he could atleast continue his trip in the muun, but he couldnt add even one more Craft before it all went bad again. SO its a very thight limit -

(Yeah we're working on it), Really ? you are? didnt think so.... I didnt ask if one would come, i asked when.... Closing Down threads llike that, and at the same time claiming that i "innsult" Squad! what Man! did i? so it was a reason too Close the thread. Fekk it, im over twith this crap. I'll just Contact Xbox With my problems, and get more peeps do it. The fact this excrements is still on sale, is a mystery too me! Squad, You are the Innsult! ------------------- And the hidden info you guys had, soo Nice of Squad, too even post any of it in the forums. Not like any of us (consolers) care.... So, theres been now Close too 3 weeks since release. And even tho this game was released With what i'd Call gamebraking bugs, theres still no News... or even a Word from anyone (Squad or FT) about any upcomming patch. A patch that probably been a hotfix patch. Its not that im expecting the first patch too be upgraded from 1.0.1, but beeing able too save the game, without Extreme limits would be Nice. There are other, what i'd Call gamebraking bugs too, but not beeing able too progress at all, means this Product as it is, is broken. So any News on a Patch yet? And Yeah "blabla console systems are harder becouse of this and that blabla" but trust u me, there Isnt many games out, With these kinds of bugs (wich seriously i'd expect from the betatimes of Kerbal on PC, not a GOLD Console 1.0.1 Version), that would have either left the game unthouched for so long or maybe given theyr custumers a Word.

I Guess you are on ps4? Until now, i have'nt seen anyone on Xbox getting corrupt files, Xbox just does what i'd Call a "rollback" on restarting the game. As i said above, its like you max out an invisible memory limit, even tho you see you savegames before you restart, theyr gone when you have restarted the game. -------------- Personaly i'm staying away, until its patched, cuz even With workarounds for these gamebraking bugs, theres just a limit too what is possible too do ingame. My m8, started getting in the "loop" 2 days ago. Even tho he only has two Crafts in "load menu" And only 3 saves (Persistent/Quicksave & 1 Namedsave) he has now maxed out what the game is able too save, just becouse he had made a large station, orbiting Muun. And i think its made up of 3-4 parts + an attachable skycrane. He also had 1 Satelite orbiting the Muun. That was all that was needed too max out a "normal" game. What i found as i also said before, from a Newly created game, all you need too do, is make 8 x Ships, With 300 parts each. You dont even need to have them in flight. Just make 1 ship With 300 parts & rename it 7 times & you can no longer save. The game is then maxed out. With nothing even in flight Have fun ^* -
Warp Should Be Fixed (4X is not enough)

as said above, you dont need to go too Tracking Station, Just use "mouse mode" too manualy set the Warp upper Left Corner and you can Warp up too x100.000, in Map mode & even in flight. (IF not flying in atmosphere). Somehow, it seems like the LB/RB X-B is stuck in "atmosphere" mode... -

If you had read my posts, theres now a "workaround" for this bug. If you have to many Saves/ShipCraft-saves/Sub-assebelies, they max out the xboxs memory. Just make sure you dont have too many savesgames (savegames With alot happening in them take up more room). Delete some old Crafts & The larger Crafts take more Space... I havent had any problems since i started "cleaning" up a little. Hope this help until its patched. For some strange reason, Squad, wont make my Thread about this Problem a sticky. And they wont talk about it much themselves.... -
Yeah, learned this last nite too. Always thought that was a "Close Screen" button, but its the opposite, a Stay Up tag. You need two info panels open at the same time. So what Chimpbone said, will work ^^

Hey again Kerbonauts. About two days ago, I could not save/load/Go too KSC, but i could do everything in flight as normal, exept when pressing the "Savegame/LoadGame/SpaceStation/Retrive Wessel", i even saw i pressed the button "in", but nothing happend, i was stuck in flight. This was after a landing on the Muun + a retur too Kerbin and landed there. I could save the game, while at the Muun, but somewhere from at Muun - until landing at Kerbin, somthing went wrong With the game. . Since this "mission" had taken sum time, and i didnt know when it last saved. i didnt just didnt wanna restart the game. "Solution" as said after i landed, and couldnt retrive the wessel (or anything as stated above, i could not get too KSC or out of flight), i notised the game autosaving.... I then went into EVA and hanging from the ladder I just pressed Start and "Go to KSC". This time, i got a Warning "If you exit blablablabecouse of eva, you will go back too you last save...." (think it even stated how long ago that save was made) So i did, And it worked.... I got a load in KSC, that was able too retrive the Craft With my science And Crew ^^ Tho, i'm not sure if one can "push" the game to do a Autosave, Landing seems too do it... but maybe sending a radiomessage or sumthing makes it save too...

as explained above, its not just ship Crafts. Its most likely sub-asseblies, And more importanlty Savegames themselves. If you have 3-4 Flights at the same time, in a savegame, that savegame is ALOT larger then the one when you started the game. So, just make sure you keep Savegames With only a few saves, also keeping Crafts low will help. My m8 started having the same problem last nite, and he had gotten my "warning" infront... But as you, he had forgotten that he had probably saved alot the last days, due too complicated "missions". So , that way he filled up the memory, even tho he had been somewhat carefull wil Crafts. Just delete sum saves too ----------------------------- On another matter, tho its about saves again. So that means that deleting some files, after reaching the "invisible" limit, would not help or? Should one instead maybe just try too never max out while playing? (until its fixed ofc.)

The Funny thing is, you dont even need to fly a single ship. Just start a New game, make one Large XXL ship, With alot of parts (290+). Then save it With New names 10 times, My Guess is that it saves 7 or 8 of them, And the rest will be gone on restarting the game ^* Its all about the memory. So my Guess is its a little "misscomunication" or missunderstanding of how the savesystem on consoles work. --------------------------------------------------- I also Guess its the same problem PS4 users have, only that Xbox's system doesnt make the last "maxed out file" and maybe PS4 makes a "half finished" corrupt one. Allthough crashing while saving might be another issue,... if that is what the ps4 problem is about.

Thanks for looking into it Sal_vager, & for taking the time too actually getting a Xbox and replicating it ^^ As you probably know by now, it doesnt matter what way you save, Autosaves, Manual named saves, Quicksaves And even saved Ships and Sub-assemblies, will not "save" or to make it Clear! Yes, you can see them in the Loadscreen, as if it did save it, but when restarting the game, from "Dashboard", every save that was made after the "memory" was maxed (of wich you get no warning), will be gone, or lost. Search my posts And see all the screenies I took, i did one while saving, one that showed the loadscreen before restart, and one showing the "rollback" from maxed mem after restart. Anyways, as i've said, i just delete some of my older or no more needed creations, and then save the game. Have'nt had a missing save since. Cant wait for the 1.st patch ^^ Any idea of what size the Savegame files are at compared to Crafts/Ships? is it any help keeping savefiles at a low number too? or do Crafts take or way more Space then the saves? Or even worse, are all the Crafts saved every time, in each savefile or seperated? (Guess i could load an older game so i could see if the ships did a "rollback" too)

Space planes don't seem to work on XBO

when i had this issue on PC, plane With weels keep shaking on the runway, if i havent totaly forgotten, i think i had just put the weels the wrong way, as in going backwards. Havent buildt planes yet on xb1, but it might atleast be Worth trying out, if you have not already. -
now, this bug is as far as i know more or less confirmed now, that be the savelost bug & how you can work aound it With that fix. Again, I applaude Squad for taking a look at this, but after the "fix" has been out for days now, i feel it strange that you cant: a: Put this post as a sticky, b: or even better, make a New clean thread, where maybe you yourself could explain this problem, c: or just take what i learnd/researched and used it in the thread New clean thread.

I found a temporary Fix. Just free up some Space, by Deleting "unused" Craft-recepies, from ex. Build menu, Press Load Craft, Then just Delete some Old stuff, also seems that "XL" Ships With more parts takes up alot more of the memory, and that is uses the same memorybank as savegames. And Ohh Yeah, Cant delete The Stock Ships, But i think you can remove them from Settings from KSC, And then press Cusomise or something like that, -

sorry for offending you :* kisskiss ^* and Yeah, ur still very wrong, just 2 hours before ur post, i posted a LONG one, containing Proof and whatnot... as i said earlier, you didnt read the posts in the thread... ok maybe the 1. page... I agree that the Old topic was no longer needed, as it got sum attention, so changed that one when it got too a Support Thread. anyways, were'e so outta topic now, ill just rest it at that.
