Dres - A Demographic Study of the User Base
W. Kerman replied to something's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Why go to a place that just really looks and feels like the mün. Except it's farther away. If that statement is true, Dres's gravity would pulse over time as people couldn't ignore it because its SoI would be so large, and then when we all think it exists, it would shrink and allow for Dres Doubting again. -
I don't use mods period. The two times I have, I had a bad time. Interstellar Engine Textures, I'm looking at you. Not loading in.... Grumble Grumble Grumble.

I had some on the bottom of my rover, but it's easier to land on the tail section of your rover and use SAS than to land with them on the sides of your rover.

Dres - A Demographic Study of the User Base
W. Kerman replied to something's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'm not sure. You see, I went to where Dres was supposed to be, and I found the mün. -
You could look up Matt Lowne on YouTube. He made bases in orbit and than landed them.

To Boldly Go interstellar challenge!
W. Kerman replied to daniel l.'s topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Yo, this seems like an awesome mod and challenge, but are their orbit lines outside the suns' SOIs? What are they orbiting around? -
1.3 And More: Confirmed Features
W. Kerman replied to Garrett Kerman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
LIFE SUPPORT MULTIPLAYER ROBOTIC PARTS! Just kidding on multiplayer and robotic parts, but I think they may well add life support, and based on what they did with comms, I'd just it would have a disable function.- 188 replies

I used this tool, and it's a bit outdated, but for that much delta V https://garycourt.github.io/korc/ It was spitting out designs just under 9 tons. I think this may by impossible. (Looks at Turbopumped's videos) ....Alright, NEAR IMPOSSIBLE

The Wright Bros would have quit in disgust
W. Kerman replied to sneekyzeke's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Wow, my first ssto that could land was after a Duna return mission. -
Randall Monroe had a comic about KSP on his webcomic, xkcd. I got the demo and was hooked. Thanks for making an awesome game! W. Kerman

Is there a stock part you never actually use?
W. Kerman replied to Sharpy's topic in KSP1 Discussion
The 3 Kerbal capsule. It has lots of weight, is easily outclassed by many other parts. -
I may be guilty of this. My eexperiences with mods have sucked been learning opportunities... . About what glitches can look like in their most terrorizing forms (Interstellar extended) . Don't use mods that are for a different version than you have (F.A.R) . Using mods can really screw up your game (Common sense ) __-----_-_-_-_---------------_-–·_---+------+-- With all of that, I think the stock elite are just people who had bad times with mods. (B9 parts only attaching to other B9 part??)

During a probe landing on Duna, Ike decided to have a mystic eclipse during said landing. It was day, and I had no idea why everything was going wrong. No ground data was returned that fateful day. Lesson: If you don't have a RTG, be sure to have tons of batteries.

Hardest or near impossible contracts, you've gotten.
W. Kerman replied to Dooz's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Got contract for Kerbin orbital rescue. Failed to notice both me and the Kerbal were getting "helpful" gravity assits s from the mun. Didn't end up in Kerbol's SoI, but it did complicate things. -
Landing Struts - what makes them overstress?
W. Kerman replied to The_Rocketeer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Landing a tad to hard, 15-30 m/s smashs them. -
will physics and aerodynamics ever be fixed?
W. Kerman replied to ErgionThorn's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Wow. I haven't see a thread with this much moderator intervention since the "KSP console version is awful!" one! -
The "You know you're playing a lot of KSP when..." thread

When you neglect your sleep to try to plan a Cassini Huygens mission. And then dream about it later. -
Having extra fuel on hand would be good idea, along with a tanker rover. Having infinite fuel is no good if it takes forever to get it into your ships! -W. Kerman
