What am I doing wrong?

That's a trick I use, because it works really well- However, I only realized how to do this after watching Wexus on YouTube. You can 1. Zoom in on the planet you're visiting in map view 2. Turn down thrust to prevent "accidents" 3. Set your direction to one on the navball (If you can't see it, it's hidden with a pull tab at the bottom of the screen 4. Burn, and learn how to adjust your orbit 5. PROFIT -

Looks like a great mod to install to calm my base making urges, but, I have to wonder, does this work with planet packs, and how are you supposed to get this huge things around? -
Plus the orbit changing burn would be over 100,000 km/s of delta V So.... Unless you have a kraken drive, nope.

This is all stock I was messing around with IVA and got this view. I needed to take a screenshot. The mysterious red block! Guess what's inside... And then some pics of Duna.... And a cool picture from everyone's favorite place, the Mun! More adventures with messing around with view angles in IVA and I found this! I wish it was interactive though.

Interactive planets
W. Kerman replied to Karol van Kermin's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
They may look like plastic, but don't be fooled. These crazy planets have a density above that of depleted uranium. (I agree with you though) -
