Project Rhea: Duna Colonization Mission
W. Kerman replied to Sippitous's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
True, but when you get a certain point in this game, bigger is better than efficiency. -
I have made a rover weighed down by fuel tanks to be more stable, today, I start testing it for an Elcano.

Going to try Minmus today... I'll have a link to that mission thread later.

Most times, you don't need radiators, but remember, heat transfer is not 100% efficient, so it generates waste heat.

Project Rhea: Duna Colonization Mission
W. Kerman replied to Sippitous's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
A tip of my hat to you, I also am making a Duna Base. Need to find time though... -
Hello, I am planning a Duna mission, but I have encountered a problem. The ∆V equation works fine in an orbit, but I don't know how to calculate ∆V per second. Could someone help?

??? How???

I have landed things 500 meters apart, but that was on a northern Minimus base, and I got within 4 km of something on Duna. Not trying the Mun anytime soon.

Problem. ------------------------------------------------------I have ran into a very frustrating problem. In Kerbal Space Program, there is no way to attach ships to planet/moons. This means my ships never really land on Gilly, also, some amazing ( or insane ) person who wanted to build a Dres space elevator, found that the claws wouldn't attach. --------------------------------------------------------- A possible solution --------------------------------------------------------- A new part, called the mk2 claw. Able to grab all things in the game, beside water and Jool, and the sun, etc. And no resource transfer through planets or moons because that would be really cheaty. --------------------------------------------------------- -W. Question from the Bug Tracker
W. Kerman replied to BananaDoto's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
No, it gives me where to go to report bugs, but you have to be a registered member or something to report a bug. Also, since I want to see how well this game can handle , I have CIV: BE open at the same time. -

The Mun and back Cheapskate Challenge
W. Kerman replied to ManEatingApe's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Good job on the munian, I had to ditch it because of lack of KSP time. (From having real life to deal with) -
