  1. @Remco Aarden By chance do you have an antivirus that has a sandbox feature? It may be preventing the EXE from writing to the hard drive. Also, if possible, try Run as Administrator.
  2. @Galileo @The White Guardian Something with Cyran's presence causes MM not to generate a cache file...and EVE stops working in the Tracking Station. (Your EVEs are colliding?) Also, hilariously, my SSTO that was sitting on Argo is now landed on Nero, a gas giant. I have not gone to it as Jeb is on it and I want him very much to not die. I have to start removing mods now, perhaps. Can someone else try these planet packs together, see if the same thing happens?
  3. @Galileo Ehhh...One more horror for everyone, eh? Hopefully it's just my KSP being weird. Just as you saw my comment I added that strangely I don't have an MM cache to delete. Furthermore, Cyran's orbit is hugging Gratian's. But the code says it should appear much farther out. More testing shall be done.
  4. @The White Guardian Huge problem. Everything I have landed on Gael has moved to Iltan and objects around Gael's moons have changed to Cyran and Crysalis orbits. Please do something about flight globals index. GPP's range is 60 ~ 86. I also wonder what I've done wrong. Strangely I don't have an MM cache to delete.
  5. @The White Guardian I think your GPP patch is missing Cyran's change to orbit Ciro. I've had a busy afternoon and hadn't gotten around to opening KSP. But I figure this automatically works as is by whatever logic. Eh... disregard this post? ^^;
  6. Mach 16? Surely you had the heat cheat on for that. I've seen Mach 11 without it but by then my engines were dead and Oberth was carrying me up (stock scale). Don't forget bases and stations. M2X is quite nice for those too. They just need a new flavor of creative juice.
  7. Anticipate requests for Kerbalism support. One of its contributors recently visited GPP and may soon come here. I will produce resource configs soon (sooner than Protorin's science defs honestly resources are a breeze to write) to make this pack agreeable to resource-intensive mods like Kerbalism, Near Future Propulsion, Extraplanetary Launchpads and Karbonite (all of USI). Also, scale down your Spacedock cover pic so that it fits. Those things only tile. They don't scale, stretch or center.
  8. Title needs update. OP needs big download button. My image of Cyran in our signatures also needs update. Those rings are like.... [insert NSFW description].
  9. The main difference between intake parts are their speed ratings. Some will only work at low speeds, some work very well at very high speeds. The large stock Engine Nacelle with (I think) 5 IntakeAir and more LF than the Precooler, won't feed Whiplashes at over 1km/s at 10km alt...But it may sustain Rapiers and some mod engines all the way. Their static suction value also matters as that shows how well they can feed air engines that show themselves to be gluttonous at very low speed/at launch. This is the most important for VTOLs about to touchdown. The 0.625m and radial intakes are only for subsonic or very small craft, but you're very well covered for spaceplanes and SSTOs with nearly any 1.25m intake, especially the Precooler with 5 IntakeAir and 40 LF. Also, you can read "subsonic" or "supersonic" in the part descriptions. @Flamingo The Mk1 Divert-less Intake is just fine as a supersonic intake and in the OP's list is the only intake with added tankage, but it has a fairly low heat tolerance forcing my craft that used it to keep a very shallow reentry.
  10. Today, rather, Christmas evening, I began to broaden my horizons concerning base building, using a very different parts pack from my norm and installing the other parts packs I'm using with it in another, temporary KSP directory. The main mod is Pathfinder, part of Wild Blue Industries. No screenshots as there was too much learning and there's nothing awesome I'm willing to show yet. But this part I will show: After running through (rather, around) every Galilean world to screenshot them for the next dossier update, I decided to take the craft I was using and do something immersive: Reverse my orbit, land this, chase those natural phenomenon, and plant a flag in it. I took the challenge of dealing with those space engines which spool as slowly as any air-breathing engine but fortunately gravity is quite negligible here and OPT RCS is very strong. The craft is the Balari V SSTO from @K.Yeon. After landing, Jebediah hopped 4km away to pick a good spot for flag-planting, take many photos, and hop back to eagerly share his snaps with Bill and Bob. I should've tried to change the flag to be region-appropriate......but then that'll help to give away this place's location.
  11. Went on another grand tour with a firm hold on the F1 key... Screenshot every body (again) for the dossier updates: New and crisp body pics unlike the initial release versions. Never saw this alignment coming while visiting Otho. Woah... What's this?
  12. @OhioBob @SkyKaptn we're going up to Gael Station Prime in today's episode on @RocketPCGaming's stream Also, Merry Christmas everyone!
  13. @The White Guardian The Church says Amen! ...But your editing software needs to repent so badly for that pillarboxing and video stretching! That epic surface texture at 1:55 though, is that Dres???
  14. Needs more flarp™. Silly (stock?) contract machine, there's no Eve in the Ciro system, and the resident antisocial female planet has no atmosphere. Meanwhile, I've done a lot around KSP lately, not much in KSP.
  15. @The White Guardian Cyran is a bare ocean hand-textured and caked in EVE clouds? As I just described to someone in a PM, you've brought your own paradigm shift to KSP, even if it's bound to a corner of the stock solar system by default. Cyran is an utter game-changer worthy of an award. .......Infernas' SOI is only 100km? The nerve of this gas planet!
  16. On the subject of GPP I must inform you that Cyran's SMA (if it's still 37.5 Gm) is below, and creeping on the SMA of Gratian (39.1 Gm) the last of the rocky planets. I recommend that you raise it to near 56 Gm which is right between the SMA of Gratian and of Otho the first gas giant (72.7 Gm), or between Otho and Gauss (139.8 Gm).
  17. Resource configs should be all done now for Kerbalism. This includes actual Nitrogen for most atmospheres and actual LqdNitrogen and LqdMethane for Hadrian and Tarsiss. @CatastrophicFailure Sorry, it's not in the open anywhere. You gotta wait. I'll bring some curry for the ducks.
  18. @Chimer4 Thanks. And yea there's that little matter of (Lqd)Ammonia in CRP.
  19. @Chimer4 I'm skimming this thread right now and I see hints at the use of resources not commonly found (cfgs for their presences barely defined if at all) in Community Resource Pack: Ammonia, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide...? Does this mod present and use new/different mineable resources? If so, please list them. I'd like to write presence/abundance configs for them. For Galileo's Planet Pack.
