  1. Yes it is/that's why. That reminds me. If your game stalls and crashes, it may be the RAM limit problem.
  2. @KERBALINA Have you tried Kopernicus 1.2.0-3? But in particular, I can assure you that GPP is compatible with KSP 1.2.1 but not 1.2.0. Sadly, your only solution is to upgrade your game. Honestly, I recommend you check back at New Year's. We still have a good few updates remaining to do + real-life matters are really in the way at this time. I'm not sure what to say about contracts. We haven't prepared anything for custom and GPP-specific contracts, but for encouraging exploration of new destinations, Gael's moons have different stats to Kerbin's moons and have less biomes to dampen the old issue of players completing their tech trees before going interplanetary. And there's a resource system overhaul to make players think differently with mining equipment and their choices of fuel. Above all, this mod encourages travel in the fact that the worlds are all entirely original and there are far more of them in just one planet pack. Some streamers who're using GPP have gotten contracts to explore other worlds in due time in their careers so I say it's all good. The atmosphere changes aren't significant. For craft construction purposes Gael shares identical stats to Kerbin. However, KSC being off the equator encourages design for increased dV before even going to the homeworld's moons.
  3. Lili should be worth it. ...And that's right. It counts as an actual planet/moon so it cannot be klawed. Do let us know how that works out. @thecross
  4. @thecross There's no bug or accident here. Lilly is too small to have a decent SOI and which was actually forced to be larger, to be its current and still minimal size. It was not our intent that players cannot use the orbital scanner but we're not going to change anything there. You must use the surface sampler and/or Narrowband Scanner and feel out any Ore presence.
  5. @iliketrains0pwned The settings you want to change are SunlightColor, ScaledSunlightColor and likely IVASunColor. The values format are RGBA 0-1, not 0-255, and no need to change the fourth value. If you don't use Scatterer, also change SunLensFlareColor. If you do use Scatterer, I can help you insall one of Galileo's Sun Flares and make Ciro look (at least partially) the part as well. (This screenshot from @RocketPCGaming)
  6. @Flashblade Don't be too sure about that. I haven;t shown it but I admire the Stardancer's update. I acknowledge the great engineering there. Also I may have had no likes to give at the time.
  7. @The White Guardian Sweet. Thanks for the references. Also you didn't name your favorite-- ooooh.
  8. Thought you guys already knew Iltan had the right stuff for EVA. What I find funky in that list is that Sennim has 28% Xenon. Xenon is an incredibly scarce gas and in all the resource configs I've written I've assigned no more than 2% Xenon to a planet. Also I wonder if Sennim is more toxic than Eve. It's probably so, just because there are specifics for what's intended to be in Sennim's atmosphere, whereas the stock planets are simply: Oxygen, Argon, Xenon? By the way. What would you say is the average proportion of Hydrogen to Helium in a gas giant's atmosphere. I have three and I've wanted to list percentages for them but I don't have this kind of wisdom.
  9. Yes! This is one sweet little parts pack.
  10. You're welcome. I guess that explains the presence of MkIV 2.5m engines. I have not been able to use KSP lately but my grand test for this engine is to see how capable the NOX Crown can get in atmosphere with this instead of its scrams from Mk2 expansion, and maybe also instead of its J-61s. Your ship is nothing short of sheer engineering marvel. I'm lost for words anytime I see this thing. Now there's a video.
  11. There's a new Mk2 engine, the HAE-02 Advanced Scramjet (still in dev state and separate download) to fill in for the J-61 in the main pack. Stali's craft contains this engine. Be advised, it's heavier and has a different power curve and won't behave like the other jet engines when used by itself. Well be modest/reasonable about your tunings then. Still show your craft, though. Inspire us.
  12. @daniel l. I've seen enough Scary Movie to know not to feel safe around your bird. > > Besides that, I'm about to send you something. Get your Kittopia ready.
  13. Spamming my name, guys. :U Each anomaly is a PQSCity just like KSC. PQSCities are a subset of PQSMods and are removed along with every other template mod when removeAllPQSMods is used in a planet. If you know how to move KSC you can move any anomaly. Don't ask me how. I don't know that much as yet. I invented some lore for a planet I wanted to create. That exact idea is part of my lore. Also @Mycroft it should be quite possible to create alternate headquarters either through Kerbal Konstructs (lets you have huge KSC-style bases) or through Extraplanetary Launchpads (deal with part count and small bases) and have contracts target these headquarters more frequently. For science returns or to make them into practical KerbNet hubs they'll need to be fitted with, or have a vessel near them equipped with a super-OP hacked stock relay antenna.
  14. I just edited my post a little. And that's pretty cool @SAS123
  15. Links above if you can use an advanced text editor and preserve the formatting of the templates. (Makes it easier for the dev to merge all your submissions. Saves the trouble of the dev adding the formatting by themselves.) Everyone who contributes science is recommended to pick a world and write for that world alone for a clean and collision-free development or to ease the load on the main dev when they merge it all in. Here's how your cfg's should look, using the abundant samples from @MinimalMinmus. Ignore the syntax highlighting issues here. It's a non-issue when the config is installed. @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[crewReport]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = After (not that much) thinking, you decide to take your resignation. CyranFlyingLow = You start to feel less solid an more gaseous than before. } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[evaReport]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = You're praying for Gene to magically switch place with you. CyranFlyingLow = AAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHH! } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[mysteryGoo]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = The goo observes you, and appears supplicant. CyranFlyingLow = the goo seems to hate this place! } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[mobileMaterialsLab]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = The sample are melting in a very sciencey way. CyranFlyingLow = You try to analyze a moltenn slag before realizing it's part of the casing. } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[temperatureScan]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = The thermometer indicates a temperature of... ooh crap... CyranFlyingLow = The thermometer is very confident this was suicide. } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[barometerScan]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = According to the barometer, you seem to be doomed. CyranFlyingLow = The barometer doesn't respond, I think it burned. SCIENCE! } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[gravityScan]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingHigh = There are a lot of neutral graviolis here... what!? CyranFlyingLow = The gravity meter appears to detect positive graviolis. Dang. } } @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[atmosphereAnalysis]] { @RESULTS { CyranFlyingLow = Cyran's athmosphere seems to be composed principally of Blutonium, Redonium, and Doomium. CyranFlyingLow = Just before the loss of signal, you detect a large quantity of "bad idium" } } Most of your entries, guys, of course need to be biome-specific so it's always fun to read the results window over the next biome. So entries should look like this: @EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[crewReport]] { @RESULTS { CyranInSpaceHighEquator = (comment about the rings) CyranInSpaceLowEquator = (comment about being inside, or beyond the inner radius of the rings) CyranInSpaceLowNorthernStorms = (comment about those really bright stripes there) CyranInSpaceLowPoles = (comment about an envisioned feature of Cyran's magnetic or geographic poles) } }
  16. You will need to edit, that is, add duplicate empty lines in order to fill them in and to make room for everyone's science or more of your own. That's especially if you want to have more than one science result per situation (which is cool in that not everyone will get the same thing to read all the time or at the same time). I approve of this knowledge.
  17. My science definition templates: Vacuum Planet, Planet with Atmosphere ; Gas Giant. Sample:
  18. Contributors (or the provider) would have to add biomes manually per planet but that's arguably the easiest part.
  19. I've already created files for if anyone would want to contribute science to Galileo's planets. There's a good deal of added documentation inside to help contributors understand how to use the fields themselves. There's a vacuum version, atmosphere version and gas giant version.
  20. I'm not sure how an individual pixel works out (or in) but you just gave me ideas. Thanks. @The White Guardian Don't discount SAS' offer. More science writers = More Science! Oh, you can borrow my blank science templates if you like. Shall I link them?
  21. Woah. Don't get too enthusiastic now. But yes. To some extent a kerbal Olympus Town shall come to exist. I know what other parts mods to look at for most of the exterior and if necessary, I still have a copy of KSP 1.1.3 to build it in.
  22. Not for myself, no.... But I did promise the dev I'd build an awesome base and show him. I haven't done it yet. I'll save this as a personal challenge, though (the town + a Daedalus equivalent).
  23. @The White Guardian you are an epic tease, good sir. I'm liking the frosty Iltan concept, and the idea of something all-new hiding among the moons is a definite attraction. Is it safe to assume Iltan no longer (or actually never did) receives ambient heat or sufficient tidal force to keep itself from becoming frosted? I'm now tempted to assume and believe things I'm sure I should not assume and believe about Sennim.
