  2. @blorgon What is this and what does one do with it? Today I made an air-breathing engine dual-mode. It doesn't change to LFO, it changes to LF + (Oxygen-less) IntakeAtm. In the process I nerfed it some. Now I ponder making my patch rewrite the whole engine as its sound and texture FX only work with one mode or seem to become confused to which mode after hopping planets.
  3. Speaking of dual-mode OPT things... I've successfully made the ScremJet switchable over Oxygen, but I've also added some caveats to it as any Oxygen-less atmosphere is typically full of non-combustible, engine-hampering junk, right? The visual FX and sound seem to work only on one mode though...I might have to make my patch wholly rewrite the engine to fix that.
  4. Cyran must have held quite a heavy protoplanetary disk. And I'd like to call that a serious team effort.
  5. My apologies for the mass imgur. Today I built a station or DSEV with Mk3 parts rather than the usual (any other form factor...) and cheated it into orbit, however the spaceplanes I also designed for it launched up and met it legit'ly. This is by far the more interesting launch. The lifter's ejection component (the extra hammer SRBs) and the fin placements cause the Twinboars to actually bump the craft but fabulously launch forward and overtake. On circularization and searching for the node to do the encounter burn I realized I was right on it and had to burn right away. I also tested the CRP configs for Cyran the fire giant and got an eyeful of green planetshine.
  6. @eddiew that's still a possibility, I'm sure I don't get it (or it threatens to happen) but it should be nothing a little engineering can't fix.
  7. KSP is just right. There are no huge bugs floating around that I know of (the F12 aero overlay problem is gone). Wheels no longer misbehave much and can safely and casually clip craft parts and kerbals. Performance is alright, always getting a little better. But most of all, planet packs are in season. They're popping up like kerbals in rescue contracts.

  10. @The White Guardian Something like that was also intent to happen with GPP (Gauss and Catullus have a 5:1 mass ratio) but GPP and sigma Binary also don't agree.
  11. #5 is Cyran. #7 Let me know if you get this one working. #9 ...What does one do with one of these? #10 Such a planet would either fall in or melt or both. But Crematoria comes to mind. Y'all should totally make the main star an O or A class. Some more of us want a blue giant star for the homeworld. GPP would've done it but since we can't change the kalendar year (to my knowledge) the home star had to stay a G-class.
  12. Looking forward to seeing this new mod @taniwha. Civilian Population Revamped was the mod of choice but a feature change in KSP 1.2.2 causes it to flood MissingMethodException. It's also going into limbo again as its maintainer is no longer up to the job. The mod 5thHorseman used is SimpleLife but it's stuck at KSP 1.1.3.

  15. @The White Guardian Seeing as so many worlds have been declared already, does that means there's a very rough concept for them all, or just a few and the rest are just: "I want this kind of planet, with this many moons in these orbits. I'll figure the moons themselves later." Niiiice. Kallahan ftw.
  16. @Remco Aarden Open your GameData folder and press the PrintScreen key, then open Paint and paste the captured image into it. But the main thing devs want when looking into misbehavior of mods is ksp.log, right next to ksp.exe

  19. @The White Guardian Thanks. It did occur to me the the flight globals need only be addressed by starting a new save when Cyran is added after, not with GPP, and that it would still be a horrific matter for either planet pack to change their FGI now. I'm very happy you have a way to keep this kind of thing optional. I spent a good bit of time troubleshooting that gpp patch, noting the missing open Body tag and the "AFTER[X,Y]" bit, and I even tried @ signs where you now put % to change Cyran's orbit. Personally, I'm going to have to change Cyran's main config to apply its GPP position... I'm still not getting the patch code to work and am nearly done trying. My next thing to do is try to get yours and @Galileo's EVE to run concurrently. On a positive note, I've written resource configs for Cyran itself and most of its moons so, for example, you won't find Water or Hydrates on Infernas for MKS...but plenty of the same on Glacia. My setup is far from perfect but it's nearly ready to ZIP and link for you.
