[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Tuko replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Everything looks good so far. the Horizon effect cleared itself up as per your advice. Is it ok to add the SVT mod to KSP 1.3 as well? Also, what about adding your sun flares, the one that's there now is way too bright, makes me feel like I just got bit by a giant Scorpion, lol, (Inside joke folks).? -
[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Tuko replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ok, I loaded everything and seems to be ok but need some more time to evaluate. The horizon from KSC seems a bit out of whack but might be something in the settings. I'll let you know if I find anything amiss. Thanks for your help Galileo -

[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Tuko replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Question: Is it possible to run SVE on KSP 1.3 with parameter modifications/Tweeks ...or...should I just be patient and wait for an update? Given the following; I'm currently playing KSP 1.3 with EVE(Latest version-no problems) and it runs fine. Since the Kopernicus update blew out all the Planet mods I'm waiting for GPP to get updated(GPP is my Favorite-Looks gorgeous). I read many of the scatterer posts and it seems it can run on KSP 1.3 but with some tweeking. As per SVE install instructions; **TO INSTALL:** 1. Drop the StockVisualEnhancements Folder into your GameData Folder ***(Via a Manual download or is there a beta version preferred?)*** 2. **Download and install SVE Textures** ***(CKAN has the Textures for SVE 1.0 listed)*** https://github.com/Galileo88/StockVisualEnhancements/releases/tag/1.0 3. **Download and install EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements (AnyCPU-EVE-Release, **Not the Configs**) ***(Where do I find the configs that were installed via CKAN so I can replace them?)*** https://github.com/WazWaz/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/releases 4. **Download and install latest Scatterer** ***(I would use the latest version or is there a Beta version that works better?)*** http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/103963-wip122-scatterer-atmospheric-scattering-v00300-22012017/& 5. **Download and install the latest Module Manager** ***(Completed via CKAN)*** http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/50533-121-module-manager-275-november-29th-2016-better-late-than-never/& I got so visually spoiled playing GPP with Scatterer, EVE, and SVE for GPP 1.2.3 that I thought it couldn't hurt to ask if it's possible to enhance KSP 1.3 with better eye candy then just standard EVE; at least until GPP is updated but expect that will take a while. -
I just installed the Mod and running in Career mode. I went into the SPH and started trying to assemble a basic HL airship but finding most of the parts will not snap into the nodes. I began using the Gondola and tried adding flotation but the parts don't snap into place??? Any suggestions?

[1.8.1 - 1.12.5] Interstellar Fuel Switch (IFS) 3.29.5
Tuko replied to FreeThinker's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
CKAN is giving me an error when trying to upgrade IFS Core claiming that it can't update the Core because the files it wishes to upgrade are registered to IFS etc.... Oh no! We tried to overwrite a file owned by another mod! Please try a `ckan update` and try again. If this problem re-occurs, then it maybe a packaging bug. Please report it at: https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/issues/new Please including the following information in your report: File : GameData/InterstellarFuelSwitch/Resources/ModuleFuelJettison.cfg Installing Mod : InterstellarFuelSwitch-Core 2.6.1 Owning Mod : InterstellarFuelSwitch CKAN Version : v1.22.3 Your GameData has been returned to its original state. Error! Update: I also did a manual installation of IFS and IFS core but CKAN detects these "Clean" files as needing to be upgraded; i.e. v2.6.0- 1,187 replies

You might have gotten something else like Lyme disease so they'll want to give you some antibiotics which is the only way to treat it and you can't wait until you show symptoms because it'll be too late by then.

Jeez....Galileo go get it checked out and bring the critter with you to the Emergency Room. Infection Control at the Hospital will want to identify the scorpion etc...

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Tuko replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yeah, Thomas P. updated that quickly. I loaded a clean KSP 1.3 version and then ran it once. Next I loaded Kopernicus 1.3(Modular Flight Integrator too) with just GPP plus GPP textures and it seems ok so far but Galileo will know better then anyone what might be broken... [KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Tuko replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Just an FYI that I'm sure most people here already know but Dummy TUCO here just discovered. I originally purchased and installed KSP via Steam. The default setting on Steam is to auto-update programs. Today I fired up Steam to check on other games and didn't notice the KSP update running in the background...ooops...and it updated KSP to version 1.3...which blew out Kopernicus ....which blew out GPP and everything else dependent on Kopernicus etc.... 1 - It seems that the only way to freeze the updates on Steam is to select "Only update this game when I launch it" I always run KSP via a shortcut to the 64 bit exe. (Please feel free to correct my statement if incorrect; if there is another way to lock in the version please let me know) 2 - Does anyone know if we can select and install older versions of KSP via Steam? If so, can you help me out and tell me how to install KSP 1.2.2 via Steam? 3 - Modders: How difficult will it be to upgrade most Mods to be compatible with version 1.3, just curious? So anyway, I learned another hard lesson...bummer- 7,372 replies

I'm using Cacteye with Galileo (GPP) and it seems to work pretty well. However, I took a contract to do a wide field observation of a world called Otho issued by CactEye. When I use a level 1 wide field processor telescope I receive a NaN code for the science result, I.e. no data, clean the lens, and therefore can't complete the contract. I think it has something to do with GPP using a binary star but guessing. Anyone, have any ideas? Updated - I launched a Level 2 wide field scope and received the same error code - "NaN" when looking at the science result.

Does the latest version of GPP contain all the fixes or do we need to use the fixes listed above after downloading GPP?- 7,372 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Tuko replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Jade- Have you been able to collate a compatible contract list for GPP? If so, can you post a link. Like everyone else, I am having all kinds of weird behavior. It's probably easier just to use contracts you deem compatible.- 7,372 replies

Ahhh, I think you are correct....I remember wondering what the release did and most likely hit the button to see what it did. Btw, why do we need the release button anyway?

Has anyone had a situation where a CactEye Telescope/Wide-lens had it's processor just vanish after going back to the orbital telescope? I'm using GPP with Kerbalism and a bunch of other mods. The Telescope is there but when I open the bay, there is no processor. I used this Telescope once with success but went back and the processor is gone???
-
They probably died which is what I meant by disappearing, although I never received an alert that they did die. Typically, they were just in a random capsule/container with no life support attached.
-
I just started playing a new career mode game using Galileo's Planet Pack (GPP) and Kerbalism plus a boat load of other mods. Kerbalism is the only mod I'm using for life support, etc... I've successfully retrieved 2 Kerbals for 2 different rescue contracts. However, the next 3 rescue contracts ended up in failure because once I rendezvous'd with the stranded Kerbal in orbit they weren't aboard the vessel anymore and there was no way to EVA them across to the rescue vessel. I did see in the other successful missions a Kerbalism popup that the Kerbal ran out of resources followed by another message telling me to RELAX and that they were ok. Has anyone else seen a problem with Rescue Mission Contracts?
