  1. It's actually 0.7 Unfortunately, 0.7 is not completely done, so many of the things we hope to get in are still debatable whether they'll make the next update. We are starting to get a basic list together, however. A bunch of new planets in moons (some starsystems will be improved, others added, keeping a close eye on some of the less interesting stars is my advice) I should add that many of these planets are those which have not been observed in previous versions, so they'll definitely add some hype when released to the public. There will also be improvements to existing planets and moons (mostly slight changes, but when noticed they make things look better in my opinion) A (very) basic storyline (through the addition of various things ) A bunch of bugfixes (as always ) Improvements on the visuals (should consume less RAM) Hopefully a few surprises that the KSS team is sure you guys will enjoy That's the basic list of what's expected for when 0.7 rolls out, meaning that 0.7 might be one of the biggest updates in KSS so far.
  2. Sometimes it won't show up for me when I'm right over the star, and it continues to not show up until you get close to the star. It should also be taken into consideration that Kelin (Blalo's star) orbits Kirb every 20ish years, so you'd have to take into account the movement of the stars.
  3. I don't know if I would recommend using Kerbalism for KSS. It isn't very compatible, and because there's no compatibility it won't work right, especially around other stars.
  4. I just installed KSS with both the visuals and that's what it looks like. It's that simple. As far as FPS goes, I just try to stay in orbit when using the clouds. EVE really takes a toll on my framerate.
  5. Well in the mod files there is an option for Tropical Laythe, which is the one I used in those screenshots. The command pod is from this mod: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/122162-13-deep-space-exploration-vessels-211-build-nasa-inspired-ships-in-ksp/
  6. Duna and Tropical Laythe is my preferred setting. If you look closely, you can notice that a few of those pictures were taken before 0.6, which is when I decided to look at Terraformed Duna and noticed there's no bad angle on that planet. Also, you should see my framerate when I try landing on a planet Did you make sure to install EVE and put the KSS folder for the clouds in the GameData?
  7. Thanks and some of the screenshots (Alvarise, for example) was just me testing using Hyperedit. Most of those screenshots were from me doing a (mostly) legitimate career, and I ended up stumbling on something pretty and I said "hey, that's pretty neat" and took a screenshot that I felt looked good. In the end, I filtered through all my screenshots and picked out the ones that I felt were the best. Here's a couple that didn't make the cut, for example:
  8. I don't know my FPS spcifically when EVE is installed, but it's gotta be no more than 20. What I just do is keep EVE when I'm not attempting getting close to a planet, and to conserve RAM I remove EVE and restart the game when I'm gonna be doing long-term land missions
  9. I've noticed that my game performance plummets with the EVE settings, sadly, but the 10 minute load is normal due to the large amount of planets in the mod
  10. Guess what time it is?! No, not that time. It's time for round 2 of my data dumps of screenshots from KSS! Woo! Strap yourselves in because here we go! Once again, special thanks to @StarCrusher96 for KSS!
  11. If GPP is installed and the player is patient enough, a new star system is created around a star Kiro, surrounded by all the GPP planets
  12. Is this when you're in the KSC screen? That's an issue with Kopernicus
  13. Gotta love these new biomes Biomes { Biome { name = Peak value = 1 color = #a4917b } Biome { name = Potatoe value = 1 color = #70584b } }
  14. Which warp drive are you using? Alcubierre (which is what I'm seeing in your screenshots) doesn't take more than a few hours
  15. This is a great idea for KSS. I've been considering the idea of roleplaying a space program. I would also like to apply for the unmanned fleet of ships
  16. I believe StarCrusher already has plans for the Kerbin texture
  17. You can get along with 8 Gb RAM, but it would be laggy. The recommended amount is at leas 16 Gb.
  18. You need to install the scatterer folder as well to get the flares
  19. Did you do the clouds fix? Also, congrats on getting onto the front page!
