How do I install previous versions of KSP?
Skylon replied to Zerxal's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
My game got stuck on launch at the very start, with the message Loading Asset Bundle Definitions, and also when I try to access GameData/Squad/Controls it says access denied. Edit: It's fine now, I think -
But I've hardly had any flights of the Arthur-1! Oh well, can development be started of my 'Matchstick' 0.625m SRB (also called the Arthur-2X) and its attachment onto the Arthur-1? Also, we should probably wait a bit more to give time for more sensible payloads, before people start going wild with the extra payload capability Naming system for different Arthur stages:

Yes! Make sure to post craft in the craft submission thread linked in the OP and keep it realistic, under 20m high, and cheap for use!

Oh... ugh took me so long. Still not working though for 1.3, so I'm okay switching back really.

@TheEpicSquared I'm currently updating my modded install to 1.3... could that mean that some crafts won't work on the 1.2.2 install?

@TheEpicSquared why don't you start adding the comment links for payloads and lifters released, it would make them easier to find

Military Air, Sea And Land Vehicles Megathread
Skylon replied to Chel's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Spitfire (kind of): Probably looks more like another plane but I looked at the spitfire for inspiration Beautiful! I like the creative use of landing gear as a razorback, it gives an interesting shape. I'll have to try it! -
Nice drawing! I'm not German myself, but learning it at the moment. I think it should be: Ein Deutscher (Soldat is Masculine) Soldat aus (generally aus is used when speaking about an abstract noun and is the equivalent of out of, and Von from a physical object) dem (aus takes the dative case) Ersten (Weltkrieg is masculine) Weltkrieg. And then Ich spreche nicht Deutsch. Es tut mir leid. Auf Weidersehen Any real Germans to confirm?

Artemis, new book by Andy Weir, chapter 1 teaser.
Skylon replied to Spaceception's topic in The Lounge
It could be an alternate timeline or just a private/government collab. Kenya's on the East coast; maybe they wanted more space than was available in Florida for launch and has land on the equator (but not on the coast as well) -
The roll might be due to a slightly unbalanced CoM due to the control rotor, so try adding a balancing weight on the other side like a vertical stabiliser

Good idea! Not sure why we don't have a robot arm, maybe it just woudnt be structurally sound They could also add a science experiment to the the drills
