I play War Thunder on console, and really enjoy just flying around in cockpit view. It's a shame though that I actually have to go through the whole process of getting one plane if I just want to fly it around in custom battles or free flight

Try taking out all your mods and putting them in a separate folder, so your KSP is stock. See if it runs. If it does, try adding the mods back one by one, and test it. If one mod causes it to crash, it would be able to be identified. Other than that, I'm not sure. Maybe our resident forum fixer @4x4cheesecake would be able to provide more assistance.

If you want to run it, go to the actual KSP folder, and run KSP.exe If you purchased it through Steam, just run it from there. The KSP launcher is broken and nobody uses it
