  1. Well, slight change of plans. I forgot I attached the gemini lunar nose camera instead of the docking port, so I can't dock the centaur TLI stage. But, my augmented Titan launch vehicle was powerful enough that I still have 2000 m/s ΔV in the second stage, so I'll just use that. I think the Advanced Gemini solar panels are on backwards edit: Wait now its fixed?
  2. I'm gonna do a lunar flyby with advanced gemini and a centaur. Can the gemini survive reentry from lunar velocities? Time to find out!
  3. Oh hey look at that it worked. I managed the "upload to imgur" bit but I didn't manage to figure out the "open image in new tab" part Here's my Ranger Block 3 in a 10km polar orbit around the Mun
  4. I don't know how to post images, but I will say the Agena docking port is one of the most well-detailed parts I've seen, considering I've spent about 10 minutes staring at it from the cockpit window of a Gemini
  5. I’ve been reading about the N1 program and apparently after they cancelled it, they used the parts from leftover rockets as recreational structures around Baikonur kinda hilarious ngl
  6. How come the Early Lunar Shelter looks different now than it did two years ago? Also does anyone have any documentation about this lunar shelter?
  7. What's the plan supposed to be for getting the LEM truck(with the flatbed module) to the moon? Cause you can't hook it onto an Apollo CM. Do you prefer just shuttling it over inside the S-IVB stage all the way?
  8. I'm having an issue with Skyhawk and BDB where Skyhawk seems to break BDB parts. The Titan hypergolic engines (LR-87 and LR-91) for example are listed as running on kerelox but don't actually accept kerelox, but the hypergolic fuels(aerozine 50 and NTO) are also not accepted. When trying to use the engine in flight, it says the engine lacks aerozine 50 when the tank is in fact full of it. Without skyhawk, BDB works flawlessly
  9. Okay so I tried mechjeb's ascent guidance with Gemini and wow. That ascent profile is way shallower than I thought. Though it didn't really... get to a 100x100 orbit "with a lot of fuel to spare" it reached a 90x90 orbit and I still had to use the OAMS to bring the periapsis above ground level And then I immediately jettisoned the service module, forcing a premature end to the mission because I forgot what I set my action groups too
  10. I'm using the KSRSS mod which is 2.5x scale real solar system mod, but I've been having a lot of difficulties. It seems impossible for me to get the Mercury-Atlas and Gemini into orbit. I use proper ascent profiles(as best as I can manage) and I'm using the Atlas stage-and-a-half system to the best of my ability(I drop the skirt at around 3g or with about 40 seconds of fuel remaining) but I'm always left nearly 500 m/s short of orbit. With Gemini, I may not be using the optimal flight profile, but if I go any flatter on ascent I start flipping out of control. Anyone have experience with KSRSS or 2.5?
  11. Yes, that was the issue. I thought I had it installed, but it turns out that it was missing for some reason. It's fine now
