the AMD FX-series CPU has a very low core clock speed and will feel very slowed down when playing a game thats CPU heavy like KSP. there isnt anything you can do to improve upon it. we can fix this for the 700.00 easily if you know how to build a pc new cpu new motherboard new ram re-use everything else from old pc

i use a Ryzen 5 1600, 16 gigs of ram, and a GTX 1080 and it runs KSP with 30 mods including EVE and SVT @ 60 FPS + and will go over 100 fps once in space. quite a few games can run full go 4K@60 fps and it can run any game 1080p easily without trying. my setup was 1100.00 once all the parts were purchased. my setup was also put together by me which saved 500.00 vs buying the same spec pc in a store.

ive found that 1.4.X runs a lot smoother and maintains it for much longer periods than previous versions. that alone would be worth the upgrade. now the game only dips below 60 fps during parts of take off and re-entry where it use to dip into the 30's or less.

if its an amazon fire you can install google play store and install pretty much whatever you want.

you will lose connection any time a moon or planet is crossing over the antenna line, so in order to have near 100% connection you will need about 2-3 sat's in orbit around the moon. i use 2 and one goes in polar orbit and the other normal orbit. this gives me antenna range to the back side of the moon about 95%of the time.

KSP has a really steep learning curve and you may not understand what the game is trying to tell you. if you are easily annoyed or not interested in learning how things work KSP will surely make you upset. if you have no idea how space works in general the game will feel impossible. be prepared to learn about things you never knew you needed to know. once you get past all of this the real game opens up allowing only your imagination to hold you back at this point. you can pretty much do whatever you want in the game within reason. its easily the best space sim out there and you can and will lose hundreds of hours of your life playing pretend NASA, or creating your own story, or just building the most eye popping massive rocket the world has ever seen and watch your PC beg for mercy as you launch it.

i bought a new samsung 4K TV to use as my pc monitor and "oh mah gud" this thing has put a smile on my face when i see my gtx 1080 finally getting a good workout and pushing 60 fps@4K

i know this is going to sound completely crazy but........ *equips flame shield* there are other games to play while KSP gets its flat tire patched. you may even find something you like just as much....ya never know!
