  1. Maybe you deleted some essential files as well? Try a verify files or a complete uninstall/install.

  4. I dont want to be rude just i never said they were in the same plane.I said i want to avoid that and match their planes when i am making planetary transfers, if there is a simple way to know how to make the insertion burn correctly every time.
  5. You really broke my spirit man hehe. My brain hurts, i ll try what you said in your first post but i wonder, if i make the insertion burn right from the start to match the direction of my desire what keeps me from having the wrong direction by the time i am doing the circularization burn.
  6. Kraken tech is not stock propeller, its an exploitation, that is not stock, its like modding ingame. Stock will always work, will never break, will never have magical arms holding it together and it will never achieve unrealistic thrust/lift. I agree that is fun and pushes creativity to the edge, especially since we dont have the stock parts to do all the stuff the engine can handle. But its not stock and its not something that can replace the need for such parts in Kerbal.
  7. I did some quick testing.It happened the first time to me as well. Hmm, did it still do it after you saved/loaded the game, replaced it or launched another aircraft with the same intake? It looks it might have a really old version of the intake and after saving/loading it overwrites itself with the new correct version. It was just a visual bug, the airspeed/drag/lift is the same in all runways. Like maybe this old version of this part couldnt understand where it spawned.
  8. Hmm, you made me think a way, maybe. Maybe if i decide for Mun for example to always enter its sphere of influence from the north ''pole'', then the direction of my vessels will always be the same. Right? About the other part, i know that they will be in the same spot, what i am wondering is if after many many years, they will have the same direction if one orbit is slower than the other. Which sounds crazy but i dont know why i bugged out in that.
  9. So i was trying to figure out a simple way to have my polar orbits/transfers to other planets in the same plane. Example: To avoid this https://imgur.com/a/BwI2Vh2 My brain literally broke down and if that wasn't enough, i wondered if the green vessel with the slower orbit will ever match the plane of the red one. I am maybe thinking they will? but i cant figure it out. Sorry if this has been asked before but i am kinda bummed out that i hit this wall and i am out of energy to search for it, although i hope there are some simple things you can do to ensure they are in the same plane and i am just overthinking and missing the obvious.
  10. First of all nice design, i dig it . Whats your ascent profile?, Try this: 1)Take off and pitch up about 10-20 degrees 2)Have your Rapier engines to Manual Switch 3)Switch to rocket Mode when you are at 23-25k altitude. After that wait until you run out of fuel and mark down your speed/altitude/apoapsis/periapsis. If you can post them here, it will help. Also take a note which and by how much of a difference runs out first, oxidizer or liquid fuel.

If you have the new parts you could hide it with an upside down engine plate, and when you decide you need the klaw you deploy the engine plate example: https://imgur.com/a/bn2BrJq It should work and its just one of the many designs, there maybe another way to do it but thats what i can think right now.
  12. Thats a good question, i though you cant EVA if you are inside a fairing, mod maybe? Did you try placing the seats inside or under something then clipping them straight up to the fairing(hold shift when you move a part for far distances)? Not sure if it will work.
  13. Did you try to right click on the docking port and see if you can click undock or something? If thats not the case then you might be experiencing a bug where the part is stucked to a certain state. Try quicksaving/quickloading and maybe even go to persistent.sfs find the klaw or port and check its state.
  14. First of all try to update any major mods you had to 1.4, the alarm clock might be the problem but you saying you had more? After that try again, it might work. If you had any major mods, including modded ship parts, it will be hard to recover, the mods need to be updated and you need to be lucky enough since your version save is old. Do you have the saves folder backup-ed somewhere from 1.2.2? If yes try this: 1) Go to Steam Library-->Right click on Kerbal-->Properties-->Betas-->Select 1.3.1 Beta 2) Try finding if any of your mods have an updated version for 1.3.1 3)Try to load your save and see if you are having the same problems 4) If things are looking better then wait for your mods to be updated for 1.4 or you could try your luck and see if the transition from 1.3 to 1.4 will work for you, so go again in the Betas tab and select to opt out of any beta programs.

Edit...hmm it looks like there are some ''ghost'' options when changing resolution and even if the resolution number is what you want, you might need to hit <> one more time or one less to find the correct one. I know its a wild speculation but something is going on here, each resolution has multiple ''options'' before the < > take you to the next/previous resolution. For example 1920x1080 stays 7 times before the button changes it.
  16. I found out that i had to click multiple times the < > in the graphic settings option menu before it changed resolution. I have no idea why it does that but well sometimes the bugs are just weird. Probably not the solution but you never know, i had to add that here in case someone reads it.   17. It changes and saves fine, only a weird thing, in the graphics settings i have to click multiple times the < > to change the resolution. Except that, it works and saves the resolution after restart. Try changing the resolution from main menu and not loading the save, restart the game and then load your career.
  18. Alt+Enter usually toggles windowed mode in most games(and in Kerbal). I edited the previous post, if you have any external programs that control settings and stuff. Maybe try a clean install with administration rights(right click run as administrator). If you are on Steam, launch it with right click->run as administrator and then download/do the Install. I hope you figure out or someone gives the answer.
  19. Huh...umm have you tried hitting Alt+Enter(hit it two times) and see what happens? Do you have maybe nvidia or another program that controls the games graphic settings?

You probably done it but did you open the settings.cfg with notepad to do a manual edit: SCREEN_RESOLUTION_WIDTH = 2048 SCREEN_RESOLUTION_HEIGHT = 1152 FULLSCREEN = True (or even try to change it to false). After that, maybe right click on settings.cfg->properties and see if the Read Only is ticked. Do you start the game as administrator? Are you on steam or?Cause it might be that you installed without administrator rights.
  21. I forgot to say that if the icons just blink a bit and move around like trembling its usual, nothing to worry about, it happens.

Hey everyone, just a small suggestion, when i tried to switch editor from inside VAB this happened and i couldn't select the vessel(I tried shift, reroute but i just cant select anything). https://imgur.com/a/GxRXwYX Maybe when you switch it auto rotates the vessel? Not sure if it will help or be more confusing. Edit nvm, i managed to Zoom in at the top part and with shift i selected it and rotated itself per usual. Edit#2, seems like it bugged out and everything is finicky, cant select what i want etc, i exited to main screen, entered the hangar, loaded it from VAB and worked perfectly.
