  1. You have to toggle lights on to see the seams.(Took me a bit to figure it out). Here is how the suits look when selecting them https://imgur.com/a/kN8EFdK Maybe thats your issue? .If not hope you figure it out . Do you have steam cloud saving by any chance?I doubt it but maybe its messing things up?
  2. I am still hoping for an official answer or fix on this matter.Why they didnt give us the option to enable them in old saves? I sure dont want my save to become a mountain of edits to survive the next updates.
  3. Read my post in first page.There is a fix and it t should work for old saves.At least it works for Kerbin, i am sure it works in other planets too since i dont see many posting this problem.

  5. If you can easily reproduce it have Alt+f12 ->Input Locks open before it happens and try to Clear Input logs and see what the console says. Also try to reset your Key Bindings to default...maybe something is messed up there? Hopefully its not a bug :d

  7. @Kergarin From some google search: https://steamcommunity.com/app/220200/discussions/0/135514823817269550/ try Alt+F12, bring up the debug and check input locks, or Shift+Alt+F12 to clear the locks Are you on Fullscreen or Windowed Borderless? Maybe try to change this and see if it helps.
  8. Yeah unfortunately decouplers, setting fuel priorities and sometimes more weird things causes the wrong readouts. I havent checked if it was fixed in 1.7.1 but there are multiple people that had the same issue(including me ) . My solution is Mechjeb or KER although that is not perfect for people who want to keep their game 100% stock.

I feel like this craft seems way too easy to tip over.Maybe there should be a second mechanism that helps autocorrect every once a while(fixing the craft while the first mechanism resets...somehow). We gotta work through the heavy limitations to maybe achieve something that works perfect for a few minutes and then it needs something extra to reset/fix itself.

  11. Just in case you didnt start a new save, check @Rocketology 's quick fix of how to enable surface features in old saves. They are pretty easy to spot and not very rare.Without this fix though, they wont spawn at all.

  13. Ok i am gonna try it right away.I just spented 15minutes flying around to find them and i couldnt.(without this fix)
  14. Thanks for the info but i am worried if i will be missing any features.I dont mind having one or two bases exploding... But what concerns me, is that fix enough to get what i would experience with a new save?Or some things just wont appear. If its that simple why they didnt give us an option to risk it if we want in the game settings...

  16. I was hoping for a stock option, I dont mind some of my bases to ''explode''. I cant even imagine loosing all my orbit infrastracture...
  17. I wish that was the case for me.Everytime i try to change the damper or spring strengh everything goes haywire.
  18. I watched Shadowzone's video at youtube and he mentions that we need to start a new savegame to have the surface features. Is there an option to enable them in the current savegame, even with the risk of everything exploding?
  19. Ahhh ok, well yeah, it might be a solution but was hoping to reduce the kraken tech needed to build such things to zero . I ll go check ShadowZones review .
  20. Very nice showcase!I also want to ask, what do you mean by motors not used as propellers?They cant at all or its just not their main purpose?
  21. You probably have Steam Cloud Saving enabled. Go to Library->Right Click Kerbal->Properties->Updates see if Steam cloud is on. If its not that, maybe try to do a clean install since sometimes the Verify integrity Files gets bugged out.
  22. Ahhh shame since steam cloud was to blame here. When you did your old backup did you save the entire ''saves'' folder or only the files inside the ''Backup'' folder. For future backups make sure you have coppied the whole ''saves'' folder and everytime before you update the game or a mod make sure you keep a copy. Although i have no idea what is going on with your game , i admire your will to keep going and try to find a solution.Good luck .
  23. Do you have Steam Cloud Enabled in Kerbal and or in Steam?(Library, Right Click Kerbal, Properties, Updates, Steam Cloud). If you have steam cloud enabled then thats your problem maybe.It downloads the corrupted saves everytime. Disable it. If not then copy the entire ksp folder in a different disk/place and launch the game from the folder/shortcut and not steam.
  24. Huh thats a weird problem .Do you have Max Persistent Debris on General Settings set to 0?If you have it to 0 it will remove them immediatelly...kinda...if you switch to tracking station. Try also changing the Seperators Force Percent to zero.Have you shift moved parts or clipped anything?Other than that trial and error, you may actually have a bug or something.Good luck!Maybe someone else can give more help!
