  1. HOLY FRIGGIN MACARONI RAVIOLI RIGATONI MOSTACCIOLI PEPPERONI ZAMBONI DO YOU MY FRIEND HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT. YOU SIR HAVE MADE THIS HORSE-SQUID HYBRID MORE HAPPIER THEN HE'S BEEN IN ALL HIS 200 YEARS OF CONTINUED EXISTENCE.
  2. As dead as my social life man. Funerals tomorrow and I'm bringing those tiny ham and cheese pinwheel things that every Karen brings over that taste like crud but you feel obligated to eat anyways to not hurt their feelings.
  3. I BROKE MY FRIGGIN TOE AND I HATE LIFE AND I HATE WHOEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO LET THINGS JUST EXIST!
  4. Bit of an odd idea I've been jostling around up in the confines of my noggin after watching a documentary on Laika, with the contributions that dogs and various other animals have made (albeit indirectly) to our understanding of space travel and it's effects on organic meat creatures why haven't there ever been any equivalent in KSP? I know Kerbals are a dime and dozen and the mortality rate for your average Kerman is quite horrifying as it is so there's not a lot of reason to use animals in place of Kerbals but I think adding Kerbalized dogs or animals as alternative crew members could bring some interesting gameplay to KSP2 especially with the game's upcoming features with colonization and in slightly more macabre note could even work as an accessible form of nutrition for colonies or large ships if life support does become a thing. They would also be in general being very cute to look at from time to time, which is definitely the most important reason. Plus there is a psychological component to this that is clearly backed up by science because as long as I say that it totally is. If there happens to be a Kerbal-Dog as part of the crew on a vessel there would be much more incentive for us to be more strict with crossing our T's and dotting our I's when it comes to making everything functions as intended and remembering to bolt a parachute on the thing somewhere. Don't want that blood on your hands, or powder depending on what led to the poor thing's demise. Yes I was also tempted to call Kerbal dogs "Kooches" after the word Pooch but then I realized that means something entirely different and even with the context would still sound rather risque wouldn't you say? Although I'm also very certain that a noticeable percentage of this community would be more then happy to see those too added the game.
  5. If we can't pat my Kerbal's god dang darn heads. How else am I supposed to reward them for doing a good job? Pay them?!
  6. Probably not, the internet provides a lot of infrastructure for stuff like this to the point that you don't necessarily need to be in the same place to communicate ideas and actually perform a job. You got pretty much everything you need at your fingertips. Look at me, I haven't be outside my home or had contact with another person in 8 years !
  7. Right bit of a weird request I can't exactly justify without sounding overtly nitpicky but is there anyway to edit the textures of certain parts to be totally de-saturated of any color on it? Monochrome colored parts may sound weird but trust me there's a reason for this, definitely not a good reason but a reason.
  8. Holy loveeroni Ravioli now that I gotta attempt making, I didn't like my coronary artery being intact anyways Wait you're supposed to put popcorn in trail mix? What the heck rock have I been living under?
  9. Personally I think they're a pretzel type of species, darn things are good yo. What are your head canons for what you think Kerbals munch on as we flings them towards the stars?
  10. A strike from right? Existing? Cause If so I guess I'm going on strike. I'll catch up with you guys later when I decide to rematerialize when KSP2 finally gets released.
  11. I just wish Squad would add Mo' Holes to compliment Moho's original Mohole. I'm sorry everybody I'll see myself out...
  12. My two cents is that I think they released the trailer at a pretty good time all things considered, the original KSP that we all know and love has slowed down a lot with activity and happenings so kinda having this on the horizon gave a lot of people the jolt they needed to hop back into the game and create more enthusiasm for the series as a whole. There was definitely some strategy in their decision to release the trailer when they did.
  13. Have you asked it politely?
  14. Do what I do and use the names of characters from Books. ESS Hiro Protagonist Rover ESS Captain Ahab Telescope ESS Arthur Dent Probe
  15. Like what's been pointed out, you seem guaranteed that this will happen. I really don't want to burst this bubble man but it's most likely not going to happen because Squad, nor Take Two, nor Star Theory have that financial incentive to go through paying the licensing fees to actually make a DLC for just one person. Lost in Space is a really obscure film, there's unfortunately not a lot reason for them to go out of their way to go through the development to produce a DLC that the community doesn't want nor will bring anything all that interesting to the table. They won't get a lot out of doing a DLC exclusively just for you The best option you have is having asking or commissioning a modder to do it for you. @CobaltWolf and @Beale are two of the most prominent modders that immediately come to mind that nailed a clean retro esque aesthetic that would probably work best for this sort of thing . I'd suggest asking them when KSP2 finally releases. You could even try making a topic on Add-On Discussions and seeing if there might be other modders who would probably take on this project.
  16. You're assuming they're going to do that with certainty. Besides again there's no real reason for them to go through the process of licensing this.
