My guess would be 4. Re-use is a bonus. Requiring recovery to make a profit would be reckless at this point.

I had a bad feeling that it wasn't going to work when the hosts were reporting on it and said something along the lines that the re-entry burn was "off the timeline."

Awwwww

I'm here! Binging on Simone Giertz videos while KSPing. I'm not missing this one. I'm still scared for the center core.

I am two for two watching them live... Starman was actually my first SpaceX launch. A nap may be in order! (damn I'm old)

I don't think I can justify staying up that late.

BTW, that was your 5th post, so you can do your profile picture now

Hopefully they'll hit the beginning of the window. I'd like to see it live, and 10:30-11:00 Central Time is right when I'm getting to bed.

Because this is a very niche title, and you're being hyperbolic. Not a large number of people are into space stuff, especially not realistic space stuff. There's also no multiplayer with the sole goal to murder each other, which is all the masses want. Nobody has to like the game. If they're into realistic or semi-realistic rocketry, they'll probably love it. If they aren't, it would be insanely boring and frustrating to them, and there's nothing wrong with that. This game is easily the best $70 I have ever spent on a video game. I also have zero desire, whatsoever, to get within 40 feet of Fortnite.

Due to some problems with the wiring in my house, my desk has been relocated to the living room. Hopefully the initial issue is now gone, plus I get a window! I apparently have a new desk cat.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear you lived in my neighborhood. Bass from cars vibrate my walls constantly. When I'm lucky, I only hear it for a few seconds as they drive by. Some of them are so loud that I literally FEEL it on INSIDE WALLS. There are several cars that I can hear from over 1000 feet away. Luckily they've moved out since (I'm assuming evicted, since the following is literally all they did), but there was a group of people 6 houses up that would just sit outside all day and night doing exactly what you described. I could hear them over everything. It's not just annoying to me. It makes me physically angry, to the point that I just want to punch walls and smash windows. Instantly, it doesn't even build up. When I hear that self-centered garbage, I want to go into a Sterling Archer style rampage. Last summer, when I would get home from work, I would have to put in earbuds and crank up my music louder than I'm normally comfortable with just to stay calm. I can't wait to move. Of course, for all I know, it'll just be worse when we do.

Fuel in service bay not connecting
Geonovast replied to schwank's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Some related reading. That part is such a horrendously broken piece of redacted that it's likely the only stock part I've never used. -
I don't know of any planned changes that should affect it. A new career was "needed" from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1 only if you bought the Breaking Ground DLC, to enable the new surface feature stuff. 1.7.2 changed the spawn rates of those features, but you didn't need a new game for that. Needing a new save during a version upgrade is the rare exception, not the rule. There's always the "just try it" method. Make a backup of your save file, and save it to a non-KSP directory. Update the game, try your save. If it goes all wonky, go back to 1.7.1 and move your save back over, and load.

Did you put their GameData folders into yours, or did you put the contents of their GameData folders into yours?

Even though I don't agree, I understand that you want more planets... What I don't get is how you're thinking that a stock update that adds more planets would be kinder to your internet than downloading a planet pack mod?

Joystick Is Not Seen
Geonovast replied to QS89's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Were you looking in flight? It won't show up in the editor. The game wouldn't choose to not load modules. The computer would just simply lock up if it ran out of memory. You mean the stock settings panel? Simple. With KSP 1.4, they upgraded to a different version of Unity, which broke joystick input in Linux. And here we are, almost 9 version of the game later, and it still isn't fixed... and I haven't seen them indicate it even will be fixed. I imagine Linux joystick users are a small enough userbase that it doesn't warrant a priority over bugs that affect everyone.... but it really should be addressed since it is a regression. Joysticks in Linux in 1.3 worked perfectly (I can't speak to versions before that, as that's when I started playing.) -
That appears to only affect Toolbar Continued. Have you seen it anywhere else?

Eh? Mind referencing that?

I'd say... 90% of the time I see someone reporting that one of LGG's mods isn't working, it's because they don't have one of those two dependencies. Almost all of his mods require them now.
