  2. Welcome to the forum! This seems like a great challenge! Surprising that no-one has thought of this yet. Question: Do I have to fly manually to Jool or can I hyperedit to Bop orbit? I’m not even that good at getting to Minmus yet....but I want to enter this
  3. That’s what everyone wants really....a delta-V readout. Though I’m sure most players wouldn’t be adverse to a few visual enhancements—the new aero in 1.0 was basically FAR lite, so why can’t there be EVE-lite in the game? If they could optimise it enough to work on potatoes, great! Though, like @eddiew said, the terrain and exploration system could be greatly improved, with stuff like caves and procedural terrain so no two players need explore the same place.
  4. If you can, it would be great to bring the new features into the story. For example, you could ditch your current parachute mod and just use the new EVA 'chutes instead.
  5. We need a few well-optimised mod inclusions like KER, EVE/SVE and Scatterer, then they should just fix as many bugs as they can and call it a game. That's probably not gonna happen though.
  6. The goo container looks very similar to the monoprop tank but is much smaller. Interesting..

  9. Huzzah! Praise the kraken!! Noob question incoming... @EmbersArc how exactly do I place the deployable wings? When I try to use symmetry on the wing surfaces it doesn't work. I can only place one wing to the base. EDIT: figured it out. Don't worry.
  10. Kerbal Reusability Expansion has a folding wing mount for flyback boosters too.

  12. x10 scale planets is really hard. But Copernicus is updated so we can make more realistic planets.

  14. Ooh, interesting how you aren’t directly using the junos to get up to speed, instead just getting to altitude and then becoming a gravity propelled bullet. Your two lovely entries will be put on the leaderboard later since editing posts on mobile is flarping annoying
  15. @Just Jim I have a question for you concerning the story: Is Emiko a name you made up or is it a randomly generated Kerbal name? Just curious.
  16. Good discussion going on here....and @Klapaucius I've added you to the leaderboard. Currently the fastest person of this challenge is @swjr-swis at 820 m/s with a manned craft. I wonder if this is beatable, or has he reached the limit of Juno-speed? Like a starfish! Noice.
  17. So maybe we need a 'Juno Airlines' category where you have to transport as many kerbals as far as possible and as fast as possible. But that's for another challenge I guess. This one will remain with only manned and probe categories and if you choose manned you can have as many kerbals as you want.
