  1. The cfg is Bluedog_DB/Parts/Thor/bluedog_DeltaIII_AdapterTank.cfg Im not sure exactly what or when at this time but there will be Agena solar panels at some point.
  2. It should be noted that like most mods with RO support the configs are written and maintained with the Realism Overhaul mod, not BDB itself. The authors of BDB are not involved in this. BDB is a very large mod so the main developers of RO don’t have the time to write configs for it either. All BDB configs have been submitted by other users who use both BDB and RO. the simple answer is the best way to get it is to learn to write an RO config and submit it to the RO mod yourself. Otherwise wait for some other BDB and RO user to do that.
  3. If the errors you're getting are these specific ones, they are mostly harmless (alternate subtypes of solar panels will get default output instead of lower). We are working on a fix; its already fixed for the most recent Kop, but we need a more general solution to deal with kerbalism etc which should also fix older Kop. https://github.com/CobaltWolf/Bluedog-Design-Bureau/issues/977
  4. What you've done is probably fine. The situation with the Thor bottail is an exception really, most of the time deleting folders works without problems. This was an unusual case where the assets for the Delta 2 bottail got combined into the Thor boattail due to how things were organised previously. For a Gemini, Corona and MOL program you need Agena, Thor, Gemini, Titan, MOL, Atlas (for GATV), Delta (the specific files I mentioned earlier). We also recommend keeping Generic and and SAF_fairings (if you are doing anything other than a basic MOL and need nice fairings for extra modules, otherwise you could get rid of it too) There might be some parts not relevant to you in the Titan folder but theres too much asset sharing to start deleting things within a folder. Oh and you should definitely get rid of Bluedog_DB/OldParts
  5. As a general rule things in folder dont affect the others. In this case though it looks like there is an exception. One of the variants of the Thor engine boattail uses assets in the Delta folder. You should restore the Delta folder to make sure the parts work correctly. Unlike the solar panel error, this will cause a functional problem on that part. Since you're not interested in the Delta folder, I suggest you restore it, delete the DCSS and Paint folders inside, and delete the files starting with Bluedog_DeltaIV ( ). The specific necessary files are bluedog_Delta_Boattail.mu and files starting with Bluedog_delta2_Engines_*
  6. Looks very good, and yes its ice. If you want to be more accurate you should continue all the way down to the intertank ribbing where the lox tank ends next time. Before fueling:
  7. Another small DCSS update. Just stretched the LH2 and LOX tanks on the Delta III DCSS to the correct length for Delta IV, this is now reflected as a mesh switch on the subtype. Another longer 3.125m to 2.5m length switch has been added to the Delta III interstage part to accommodate the longer stage as well. So we have 4 variants of DCSS altogether now; ICPS from SLS, Delta IV 5m DCSS, Delta IV 4m DCSS and Delta III 4m DCSS (3.125 and 2.5m in game respectively of course)
  8. The deprecated parts are things that are meant to be removed, They shouldnt show in the VAB but some mods like filter extensions (i think) unhide them. Please dont use them, they will be permanently deleted in an update before long. Most of those errors at startup is not because you deleted something. its a known issue with certain older versions of Kopernicus (we already fixed it for the more recent ones and for the experimental builds) and with Kerbalism. We are working to resolve this. Some solar panels are supposed to get different output for sub variants. The errors mean those variants are not getting the switch but they will still get the default output value. So despite the error, those parts are still functional as far as we can see. I'm not sure about the very last error in that list. That could be caused by something being deleted. If you tell me which folder you deleted I can see if there could be a problem caused.
  9. SDLV stuff in your BDB? More likely than you think Mesh switch for the DCSS to the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage from SLS. Slightly longer hydrogen tank and 6.5% more propellant. I guess the mixture ratio is different would need to check but that would explain why only the hydrogen tank got a stretch.
  10. Delta IV composite fairing in both sizes now on the Github master. These are fixed length and not adjustable but thats just like real life where the Titan IV derived metal one was the adjustable one. Thats not the reason why though, its for texture space reasons. I reckon its fine because you have the Titan IV as a flexible option. Also Vanguard 1 will no longer clip its fairing, the base has been lengthened ever so slightly.
  11. Yeah Im hopeful people will find these parts useful for other stuff . Im proud of the work I did for OAO but that is a weird set of parts overall, a lot of it is tricky to incorporate into other builds. I think the Mariner set is much more flexible.
  12. Can you provide these sources? I remember we looked at this and the language we found was confusing. I cant recall which documents @CobaltWolf looked at exactly but the phrasing was somewhat ambiguous. There were statements that Delta received a cold gas system which allowed the stage to coast and reorient for more precise firing of the Altair. The confusing part came from the fact that Able already had an attitude control RCS so perhaps its referring to a new system. In any case we didnt see any reference to ullage thrusters on Delta, just attitude control and coasting to Altair burn. On Able the altair would be fired immediately after the 2nd stage burn out.
  13. Mariner 10 early alpha is on the Github master branch now. Get it while its hot. Lots of things are subject to change though, realnames, balance costs etc. Features several science experiments, tracking relay dish antenna (always points to homeworld), deployable sunshield, custom decoupler, troggleable covers for engine and camera and a standalone version of the camera which essentially replaces the old BDB high tech generic camera.
  14. Thanks, have alerted cobalt to change the OP to point to the general releases page. About remote tech as mentioned a few pages back none of the authors use it so we would depend on people who wish to use remote tech with BDB to submit a PR with updated configs. We don't really have the time to do compatibility support for mods we ourselves don't use but we are always very happy to accept pull requests. A lot of the stuff in the compatibility folder is community submitted.
  15. Its in unity. In game it will use the stock PBR shader that squad uses for foil, not textures unlimited. This appears to be a KSP 1.10 issue. Broken shadows all over. At least I assume you're on 1.10 based on what Im seeing. Someone told me there is some build of scaterrer (idk if its experimental or now released) that fixes it. I've only been using 1.10 for very quick testing on a bare bones install so dont know much more. If scaterrer is too much of a hit for your I guess you need to go back to KSP 1.8/1.9 or hope for a fix from squad.
  16. Some Mariner 10 work in progress. The foil elements are just placeholder so dont look too close (there will be optional covers for the engine sphere and the camera too, not pictured here).
  17. Thanks, will go through this when I can, but I am beginning to suspect whats going on. Inside the config cache is the final CFG configuration of everything thats been patched by MM. If you can find the nodes for a couple of the affected parts that would be great. It would look something like : UrlConfig { parentUrl = Bluedog_DB/Parts/ProbeExpansion/OAO/bluedog_OAO_solarUpper.cfg PART { name = bluedog_OAO_solarUpper module = Part . . . .lots of stuff here . . . } Keep in mind when searching replace the dots in the B9 errors with underscores.
  18. Can you upload your KSP.log and modulemanager.configcache? Please also let me know the exact version of B9 partswitch you have installed. And no Kopernicus is not needed but I thought this problem was caused by Kopernicus. Need to see the logs to see whats going on.
