  1. Like this Then you orient the ship as you like and when activating SAS it will keep the relative orientation to the reference.
  2. Most mods continue working when the waste resource is full, just dumping the excess. In some of them, like kerbalism, you have to select dump excesses in the paw for it to work.
  3. I am experiencing something similar, but which I didn't mention because it appears to have no consequences. Frequently when flying I receive a message on screen saying that the propulsion has been stopped because there is no propellant or something similar. It happens in flight, at x1 speed while burning a maneuver, but there is more than enough fuel. KSP 1.11.1
  4. In MKS you can have distributed bases. That's a resupply shipment containing fertilizer, material kits and machinery. The rest of the parts take what they need automatically from there.

  7. You could use the newest constellation, that includes Ship Assembling, WOLF and more. https://github.com/BobPalmer/USI_Constellation/releases/tag/2021.03.12.01 While I can I will produce everything at KSC with support from shore. But it is really up to what you want to achieve.
  8. While you are in kerbin SOI it is easy to keep your base supplied from Kerbin. Just add some recyclers and do the math for fertilizer. A single 3.75 container can last years.
  9. I think it is Just to check, you do a save, change it with KML and load again, all without exiting KSP, right? Definitely, something is playing with my install. Next I plan to change the persistent.sfs, as to load it directly.
  10. This is like magic. I made a test ship with two tanks and a probe and the same happens, so it is not related to the parts I am using. The only thing I can think of is that one of the other parameters is kind of a checksum.
  11. It is not the antenna what needs to be pointed somewhere, but the solar panels. And there is a mod that keeps all ships oriented, persistent rotation. What is not clear/possible is to make persistent rotation keep your orientation after a maneuver when there is no connection.
  12. Something is reseting the values. If a modify, save new sfs, load in game, save again and load in KML, the values are the original. The new values don't persist. Some mod is going rogue, I think.
  13. Yea, I am changing all four, because it is a quaternion system, whatever that is (converter) with no effect. Individually or several at a time.
  14. Don't know what is happening, but changing the rotation parameter has no effect.
  15. I will try some significant amount change and experiment . I thought it would be an absolute reference. Finding the part was really easy. Your tool is really great, it took me perhaps 5 minutes to get used to it.
  16. Perhaps I dreamed it, but I thought that with this tool you could load ships in flight in the VAB. This would be great to plan expansions for ships and stations. Thx
  17. Perhaps is not the best place to ask, but as I used this tool to try to solve the problem, I will star here. I added a module to my muna base using KIS, but I couldn't get it properly aligned, so I edited the ship with KML and pasted the rotation parameter from the parent, but nothing changed. Ideas?
  18. Which parts give a bonus to kis construction? I already checked the salamander, that gives a 4 bonus. Four times the weight? And, is Eva construction also bonused? Thx.

Hi, another use case I usually keep my satellites towards the sun, orienting them with mechjeb, and keeping it with SAS and persistent rotation, but I think I can't program this in the flight computer? Perhaps a point towards the sun would be enough, concatenated with SAS activation so persistent rotation takes over? Thx
