  1. Hey so I like the idea of this, but after installing and looking at the .cfg files I'm wondering why I need the defaultactiongroups.dll? I already use .cfg files with some custom patches in modulemanager. So what does the dll do that the .cfg files alone do not?
  2. Odd bug - not sure if caused by ReStock but my Experiment Storage Unit (the stock crate looking thing) has seemed to change to 4 super thin pillers. Like it's just the edge outline and is empty (clear) in the middle. I'll try excluding it from restock to see if that fixes it or if there is some other mod changing it - any idea how I can tell what mods are applying patches to it?
  3. Unfortunately I reinstalled the whole game and all the mods yesterday during this process and so do not have logs of the mod not working. My solution was just to remove it - don't use it often. But the other guy in that thread may still have logs...
  4. Hmmm... I am now temporarily... the last version of that did not cause the error for me... but Better Time Warp Continued did cause the error...

  8. Ya and if you look at my list of mods, you will see Better Time Warp Continued not Better Time Warp I honestly didn't use that mod that often anyway, so can live without it with no problem. But the strange thing was I didn't remember that mod updating recently via ckan... the mods I did see update were what I first tried to test to see what was breaking the game. But in the end it turned out to be "Better Time Warp Continued" aka Better Time Warp PS - I'm looking at Time Control.... seems to do all the warpy stuff and more.
  9. You misunderstood me... That is the one - linuxgurugamers - which is not working... previous update worked fine, but I guess the latest one a week ago is what ended up making the mod crash our games. Keep in mind this may only be the case 'in combination' with the other mods we use. But through long one by one testing getting rid of that mod is what allowed the game to go back to normal.
  10. FYI it looks like the latest update has a problem... see this thread for details or problem. KSP Version is 1.8.3... just kidding 1.8.1 I just saw someone else was having the exact same issue as me with a UI bug, cross compared what mods we had in common and after adding and removing mods one by one for several hours I found that removing better time warp returned the game to playable state on both new games and my old saves. I didn't think the mod had been updated recently so took a while till I tested removing it.

  12. EDIT: I looked at what mods we had in common. Wasted a few hours testing one mod by one. Traced it down to Better Time Warp Continued - which I didn't think had been updated recently??? But sure enough by deleting that mod the bug goes away in both a new game and my old saved game. Ya exact same error I'm getting... I have not changed anything on my game (just not played in a week) and today I get this. Full game resinstall did nothing. Full mod reinstall did nothing to fix this. Only thing that seemed to work is to wipe the folder, and just install a stock game with no mods at all. Adding even 1 mod seemed to bring this back for me. Hope someone has a solution.   13. I seem to be experiencing a very strange problem that cropped up me without making any changes (other than steam auto updates) to my game... I assumed some mod caused it, but it after trying a clean install of both the core game and redownload/install of the same mods that worked fine last week, I'm still getting the same problem. It is not tied to a particular save game, and pops up in new save as well. So far the ONLY thing that I've been able to get to work is a game clean install with not a single mod.   15. hey @linuxgurugamer yet another super useful mod! One idea for sensor for when you decide to update is a temperature sensor. I'd like to jettison some parts when they get too hot before they explode.
  16. Maybe delete and reinstall tweakscale? First thing I try when finding a problem is a reinstall.. works about 1/2 the time.
  17. Shhh... Yup... resizing them works for me with latest restock and TS (per CKAN)
  18. Not tried resizing convertotron but would look at TweakScale as first. I can confirm that the ReStock Service Bay can be changed in size with no problems in 1.8.2

  20. It seems to work with 1.8 but not with all other mods. If I add Umbrella mods this Telemachus crashes app on startup. Hopefully this will get fixed soon as this is one of the most unique and useful apps for the game!
  21. So I've got the mod working as intended - I think - and i can see it making little teleports with rovers over the course... BUT I've had multiple 'target' vehicles destroyed after the mode drove the rover to them and when I get into physical range it looks like they are on top of each other with the weaker vehicle spontaneously deconstructing itself immediately when in physics range. It would be nice to have a 'come close to' options that is not RIGHT ON TOP of the coordinates of the target ship. How are others dealing with this?
  22. I seem to have a weird issue with parachutes not showing up as items in VAB on a clean install with no mods other than restock installed on 8.1. What is odd is that I have parachutes on my main install of 8.1 with 95 mods running. This is a new computer with nothing but base game and restock, but nothing in unlocked tech tree under parashutes.   23. Wow thanks a BUNCH guys... I know people love mods that DO stuff, but honestly your visual mods make KSP 1.8 look like KSP 2 months before that release. Hell they may make it look better than KSP2 - we won't know for a while! Thanks again!
