  1. Ehh, it can be fun if you know what your doing, I feel like I just want to use mods mainly because if I want to lose time to get a better thing I should be able to do that

  4. Im currently working on it, thanks for asking, im going thru a heavy revamp and my main goal is to push out a singular system, each update is a new system. Several things have been changed/scrapped tho so the final product is going to be different

Also, people who have not played with mods do not understand what is balanced and fair, your just assuming any non stock part is immediately OP and unfair, Just have a modded category or allow mods, most of the supposedly OP parts also happen to be ultra expensive and need a lot of science points(often times the fuel is rare or expensive as well)

Ok, explain how mods are OP, and also, just like, add a modded category Mods make the game fun and stock purism(where every mod is considered OP and modded is somehow less good than stock) Modded, In my opinion, takes what SKWOD built and makes it better Also mods break up the constant meta of "Farm Minmus until you get NERVAs" Since guess what, NERVAs are made to not be the automatic choice So honestly, I think that modded is just as valid as stock

I mean like, K drives being allowed in level 1 is kinda stupid if mods are banned, and its not like most of them make it brokenly easy(since you need to spend time science farming, in a speedrun), say im using KSPIE, Im not going to get some epstien drive, because thats a waste of valuable time Ban them both or allow them both
  9. If he bans mods but doesnt ban kraken drives I get to use my mods since kraken drives are infinite fuel, a modded engine is NOT infinite fuel So either ban K Drives or Unban mods
  10. Skyhooks are good for launches, Not for landings in most cases, on gilly it doesnt matter, and Im not able to launch off gilly after colonizing it because he banned mods, Mods make the at this point boring to me stock game fun

Minimum Part Limits Just pointlessly force up partcount, which I find stupid and unrealistic, Minimum mass limits are the same deal(cram a kerbal into a tiny ass craft) I have made semi public LMP servers and have done modded challenges before, so its entirely possible for me to set up mod criteria, and easy I would prefer to just have a LS mod rather than having some arbitrary limit Also LS encourages probes, Stock doesnt, in stock probes have almost no use, there is no penalty for a 1 way mission or cramming a single kerbal in a tiny pod to get shot off to jool, thats stupid(and unrealistic), and mods fix it

You can like, just ban FTL/cheat drives, also, those engines are expensive asf, and also, if I want to make it harder let me(I dont want to be able to stick a kerbal in a pod and fling them to jool) Strategia and Exploration Plus dont even add parts lol, strategia just makes administration not bad
  13. U said CAN be completed in stock, Not SHOULD, be completed in stock, Also, Life support makes it HARDER Stock Purism is not something I am a fan of, the challenge is already hard, dont ban mods that make the game harder or make certain aspects of the game not stupid
  14. @Kerbal123_FurryI will do ur challenge(Using a few mods, specifically, Exploration Plus, Strategia, KSPIE, USI LS) But I am not doing the green monolith thing since I dont feel like spending hours looking for one on gilly, then eve, then moho, then everywhere else

  16. But here are some ways to improve the challenge 1. What counts as a base 2. What counts as a station 3. Add Extraplanetary launchpads(you ship/manufacture rocketparts, then build rockets out of it on site, so you can land something small, often called a "Bootstrap Base" and then build your actual base components that are a pain to bring with you, also, it means orbital shipyards, giving stations a USE 4. Life Support, So the bases cant just be "I stuck some kerbals in the bare minimum, then dropped it on some planet, that isnt a colony, thats just a lander with some parts slapped on it to fit the technical description 5. EL also saves you time since you then dont have to sit and wait for a transfer window again when u complete a base on a jool moon or something. So I would say, add a couple of mods, and clarify some things regarding requirements

  18. @DeadlySlothUm, sorry, thats not really possible, as a person who colonizes extrasolar systems, spamming this many crafts is going to just lag any PC(and I have a good PC) I would say more realistic thing would be "Construct a colony and station in every planetary SOI(So Moho, Eve, Kerbin, Duna, Dres, Jool, Eeloo) 1 base, 1 station, any more and considering debris, landers, etc, and you have a lagfest that almost no PC can handle If you would like I can give you more info on a reimagining of the challenge to make it reasonable for people without god PCs
  19. Me and a player did something on LMP with a stratolauncher, when we tried to launch an eve probe I flew the plane back to the KSC, they continued with the probe to orbit
  20. Its based off of ingame time, not IRL time, so you wont auto lose because of long delays, U just submit when you can and I can see ingame times.(Do not turn off HUD, Please show UT in all screenshots) @interstellarinternYou have been added

  23. Please make this .zip instead of .rar, also, warpdrives, we dont need them, just go slower than light and timewarp
  24. Breakthrough starshot probes are accelerated at over 10g, so earth rotating isnt much of an issue
