  1. Basically, yeah. To proof it, you take a screenshot of your total fuel capacity, and then you take a screenshot of the craft loaded with half fuel.
  2. Here's the thing: Kerbals are a bit... same. They always have the same heads and the same suits, which sort of gets boring. Instead of just 2 heads, they should have a lot of different heads, and would be chosen like the name generator. Now, I know what you guys are about to say. Why not just use TextureReplacer or TextureReplacerReplaced? Hear me out: first of all, they are both very complicated to use for most players, and second, they are both outdated. Instead, an in-game UI like Kerbaliser should be implemented, so when you are trying to edit a kerbal through the cheat menu, you can just select a look and a suit.
  3. This is exactly what I needed, thank you so much! Does this happen to have a tweakscale plugin? (edit): Is this also compatible with 1.7?
  4. KK-Prize signature badge here The KK-Prize challenge takes upon inspiration from the K-Prize challenge, and takes it up a notch. Your job is to make a spaceplane that can get to orbit, land, then achieve orbit again, and then land again. Basically, the K-Prize times 2. Please provide some kind of proof, preferably images or a video. All who succeed will be listed below, and extra kudos if you manage to complete one of the extra awards. Rules 1. No stages can be lost or detached, all parts must remain intact from the launch to the second landing. 2. All parts must be stock. This helps keep it simple. 3. May only use the fuel aboard the craft at launch, ie, no refueling via docking or ISRU. 4. Craft must come to a complete wheel stop before attempting second orbit. Extra Awards 1. Land on KSC grounds (picture required). Rangefinder Award 2. Land on the KSC runway (picture required). Sniper Award 3. Fastest time (before time and landed time required, MET). Speedster Award 4. Lightest craft (weight info required, weight must be craft fully loaded with fuel). Feather Award 5. Heaviest craft (weight info required, weight must be craft fully loaded with fuel). Brick Award 6. Half tanks (fuel capacity info required). Half Award 7. Cheapest craft (cost fully loaded with fuel). Cheapskate Award 8. Doesn't use NERVAs or RAPIERs (picture required). Purist Award 9. 5. Space Station: to be named I was really bored The Kerbals decided to launch a space station. However, it was really heavy, and would need to go on a new rocket. I present to you... the BHPR (Big Heavy Payload Rocket)! Relatively fewer pictures today, compared to all the other posts. The space station still doesn't have a name, and names would be appreciated, preferably some really long absurd acronym. The name will be decided by me the Kerbonauts of CTV-4.
  6. I thought I couldn't. It was probably a glitch or something. Or I pressed some key...
  7. Could you possibly list some rules, maybe make a badge or two?
  8. I accidentally made Jeb remove his helmet in space.
  9. If you've played KSP for a while, you start to have a bunch of complaints and possible improvements build up. This is the place to let that all out. This is the place to rant about whatever (but please stay on topic). However, to keep this place sort of civilized, you must follow basic guidelines: No harsh language Must include evidence and/or comparison of idea Must include logical reasoning Other than that, I would love to hear your opinion on things.
  10. That sounds like a good name. Putting it on my list. So far, I've sorta thought of one name: HARMONY = High Altitude Research Mobile Orbiting _ _
  11. I don't know if anyone else uses these as thermal tiles, but: They also look really cool in my opinion.
  12. To be honest, only a few mods are really necessary to me. My current list of necessary mods are: EVE, Scatterer, KS3P, SVE, Restock, and Restock+. Most of my other mods are just nice compliments, and I can live without them.
  13. I don't really think it's worth it, you could just as well go get Infernal Robotics Next If you're going to spend the money, you might as well get Making History. It's the same cost and adds much more parts. Or you could just go mod hunting.
  14. Rendezvous: Just why couldn't we dock? As soon as Jeb and Bill and Bob got recovered, they were sent on another mission: CTV-2. They were going to dock with CTV-3 Now, it would be Valentina's first launch, and she would try to dock with CTV-2 on CTV-3. You can see that we got really really close. However, that was on the second try. On the first try, I accidentally pressed z instead on h, and so it slammed into CTV-2, taking off one of each vehicle's solar panels and destroying CTV-3's docking port. Worst of all, I forgot to save before, so this is as close as we could get. Since they didn't manage to dock, plans have been scheduled to launch have CTV-4 and CTV-5 try to dock. A space station is also in the works. Names for the space station would be greatly appreciated, preferably some really long absurd acronym.
  15. Who are your favorite kerbals of all time (In your saves)? Of course, excluding Jebediah, Bill, Bob, Valentina, and any Kebals created using the cheat menu. I guess I'll start. On my very first save, I had this scientist named Donke Kerman, pronounced "Donk", or "Donkey". Of course, I just had to send him on an untested experimental SSTO and killed him. Cheers
  16. This is stupid and completely unrelated, but why don't you drop a rover from orbit onto Kerbin's tallest mountain?
  17. How did you guys become moderators? Or are you not allowed to disclose?
  18. Me who just started following this thread:
  19. Planes and Orbits: 3 Kerbals in Space! Lately, Jebediah had watched a lot of Netstar launches, but he was really bored. What was he getting paid to do? Nothing? So he convinced Bill to do something with him. Gene saw exactly how bored Jebediah was and put him on a mission before he could cause any more trouble. He, Bill, and Bob were going to be the first kerbals in space, on top of the imaginatively named Crew Transfer Vehicle. Sorry if I'm spamming pictures, but I like pictures.
  20. Netstar I: The first satellite In preparation for future missions, KASA decided to launch a communications satellite, Netstar I. It was totally not a design stolen from a rocket in a different universe (Try and guess). There was also no existing KASA decals a typo on the sticker that read "NASA" instead of "KASA", but nobody noticed. KASA is planning to launch at least 3 more Netstar satellites. One in polar orbit, one in a 45 degree inclination orbit, and one in a 315 inclination orbit. I won't be posting those launches unless you guys want me to.
  21. On my first SSTO, I ran out of fuel for deorbit and now Jeb's stuck in orbit. I left more than 10 crafts in orbit trying to dock. I've never flown Bob on a mission. He's still stuck in the administration pool.
  22. Scatterer. I just wanted nice effects, because stock was trash. Then EVE, SVE, a bunch of Near Future mods, Restock, and Restock+.
