MN2: Successful Failure, and the end of Minmus missions for now After the first successful landing on Minmus, a second shot was inevitable. So a second shot there was. During the mission, some things went wrong. While trying to achieve a Minmus encounter, the Mun got into the way and performed a gravity assist, sending it on a Kerbin escape trajectory. So a mission abort was decided. It was deemed a successful failure because while it had not achieved its goal, it had provided insight into aborts of this kind and trajectory problems for future Minmus missions, and returned the crew, Jebediah, Bob, and Bill back safely, again at over 15 GEES! It has been decided that for the near future, there will be no Minmus missions, instead focusing on the interplanetary windows (Duna in ~ 180 days, Moho in ~ 60 days) and Kerbin orbit operations.

MN1: The First Steps on Minmus! After the Mun, Minmus was clearly the next target. Originally it was Valentina scheduled for the mission, but then Jebediah snuck into Gene's office and scribbled his name on the roster, so he got put on MN1, much to the confusion of Valentina. The Mission went flawlessly, with only two problems, one being that once landed on Minmus, the navigational computer still read in Orbital mode, not Surface mode, and that the Capsule had to make many aerobraking passes before real reentry. 2 more manned missions are planned for Minmus, then docking attempts, and then focus on the interplanetary encounters (Moho, then Duna, then Eve).

M3 and M4: WE ALL LOVE THE MUN! actually it's really boring, just a big gray ball. After the success of M2, Jebediah, who had been off on a mission, decided that her would also land on the mun. KASA staff agreed, so Jebediah, Bill, and Bob got ready to launch. They returned successfully, and landed in the desert. Jeb really liked the Mun, so he dragged Bill and Bob along for another one, to one up Valentina in the namesake of science! The mission went well. However, at reentry, gee forces maxed out at 15 GEES! Everyone was fine, and M4 landed just off the coast of the KSC. Sidenote:

No, all mods are required to only be in gamedata. The ships folder is for stock ships, so if you put a .craft file in ships, it will have a [STOCK] tag in front of it when in the launch menu. By the way, to get another person's attention, you can click the quote button, or type the @ sign and then their name. For example, @Christo

First of all, this: Second, did you install the mod correctly? Mods go in the gamedata folder. When you download a mod, it will usually come in a folder with the mod name. Inside that folder is a folder named "Gamedata". Now, in your KSP install, there is an identical folder named Gamedata. Place all the contents in the mod Gamedata folder in your KSP Gamedata folder. Also make sure that all the dependencies are installed correctly. It clearly says that it requires the mods CxAerospace Stations Part Pack, RN Soviet Rockets, and Tantares. Third, that craft file is meant for KSP Version 1.3.1, so it might be outdated. Fourth, if you want ISS recreations, you should download benjee10's Habtech 2. Fifth, you should stay away from curseforge and the steam workshop and get all your mods from the KSP forum or spacedock, and get your craft files from KerbalX. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

After recently reading a post on the forums (forgot where), that said at a convention, only 1 in 20 players had ever left Kerbin SOI, so I got curious. I'm a relatively new player, so I've only been to the Mun so far, but surely most of you have left Kerbin SOI, right? Anyway, some background information would be nice after you answered the poll.

This is what I want in KSP2: Better, voxel-based aerodynamics Restock-like art Better physics in general More things to do on planets Not super-realistic, with tons of logistics and micromanagement and life support Qol stuff, like stock DPAI, Astrogator, KAC I don't exactly want advanced future stuff. In my opinion, they should just focus more on the gameplay. For me, stuff like Nertea's Near Future Mods are good enough, not fancy stuff like metallic hydrogen and antimatter. Also, What is up with the KSP 2 Kerbals!? Clearly the KSP 1 Kerbals look much better.

TextureReplaceReplaced Help or Alternatives

I've been trying to work with TextureReplacerReplaced recently, but I'm having no luck. I tried reading the wiki on GitHub, but that just left me more confused. I'm trying to replace the stock suits with these: They're a bit outdated, but they were the best suits I could find. Could you guys point me in the right direction?-
