  1. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: 5950 | GPU: 4080 | RAM: 64gb Playing on a 5k ultrawide Oddessy Neo 49 inch. The science research tech tree screen does not line up correctly on ultrawides. It keeps a 1080p appearance and has clipping. Included Attachments: .ipsImage { width: 900px !important; }
  2. Tried to make a rocket to make it to the Moon. Landed on the moon with 200 Delta V. Need to work on a recovery vessel. May need to wait a few weeks till I have my desktop.
  3. We appreciate you and the team. Thanks for all you do!
  4. I second this. Having multiplayer currency will ultimately diminish the spirit of the game.
  5. I like squad, but much prefer Post Scriptum which branched off of squad (originally as a Mod) in 2017.
  6. I've debated a lot on what I'd like to see for science in KSP2, and as of now we don't really have much to speculate / go off of in terms of what direction they will go. However, I've met a few people who have a common interest on improving on whatever foundational framework they offer us. So there will likely be mod's available to improve the diversity and collective amount of science experiments. (For people that are interested) Depending on where they're at at launch of the science expansion (planned sometime after initial launch), we plan on trying to add a plethora of Biology "Sci-Fi" experiments namely, because that's the collective field some of us are in. Our experiments will consist of modern methods in literature which branch into the realm of sci-fi for results. Think, Molecular Biology CRISPR PCR Western Blots, as well as Entomology (Colony Rearing, determining suitability for colonization).
  7. Yeah, doubt anything earlier. But i am very curious if there will be an embargo period and a bunch of prerecorded videos on launch day.
  8. Has there been any word on if advanced copies of the game will go out to content creators? I'm curious to see if there will be any youtube videos on launch.
  9. Wow, thanks for the video! I'll check it out.
  10. I like how the spaceship crashes while their up grabbing snacks. Hours of flying and maneuvering ruined! Hope they are good with their quicksave game.
  11. I think the ambiance of sound tracks such as interstellar and ad astra would do wonders for building immersion. I typically mute the ingame music.
  12. Very happy to see this selected. Their work has pushed the boundaries of the game and forever impacted the community.
  13. Amazing! Every time I see your social media posts I get more and more excited. For instagram is there any way you could link the dev diary posts or any links in the account bio? If you just put the link in the post description it doesn’t hyperlink. Got to bust out the old reading glasses and type it in letter by letter. Dr. Bug
  14. Not going to lie, you can do the whole game with a single engine and a ton of boosters. The ability to build in orbit "docking" pieces together is how I get to planets. I think the fact you are addressing the elephant in the room is really good for healthy gameplay. It took me watching one of your teasers for KSP2 to realize that maybe I should have different engines for different missions.
  15. Ah yes cultural anthropology. Glad to meet you! KSP is much better than curating mammoth bones
  16. The community will likely tackle some of these minor requests. I doubt the dev's will be looking much into off-target features this close to launch. I bet it's a large bugfix push.
  17. Doubt this could be functional. Would take about 1-2 players griefing 1000 part ships to make the server unplayable.
  18. Still this is remarkable. Curious to know if competing agency vehicles can dock. Could open a whole world of sabotage up by deorbiting other players science stations.
  19. I think they could even get a "minecraft for education" type of deal where they can use this as an educational tool if they do it right. It's not going to be 100 perfect, but really digs down and expands understanding after a few dozen hours.
  20. There is enough science in the first game to get a tech tree from the moon and earth orbit with science station. I think they should incourage early moon exploration by "outpricing" components for deeper solar system missions.
