The Biggest advantage Juno to me has is its procedural parts and Planet Studio, The Latter of which is the only thing I typically use. But for a game that has built in planet modding, its very limited, even to the point in which Multi-Star Systems aren't even possible because you can only have 1-Sun Light source in the game. It just doesn't have the same level of soul ksp1, and even ksp2, have gotten. You can't even switch to custom star systems in career mode.

"Could he?" If he theoretically forked up enough money to make it worth T2s time, yes. Realistically no, Elon has a real life rocket company and while I don't think he is enjoying seeing ksp2 founder why would he when he has real life rockets? A Better scenario would be NASA/JAXA/ESA and Perhaps ULA And SpaceX seeing potential to create future engineers/allow more space inspiration and them either buying it and working on it together or agreeing to fund the development instead of T2. No Idea how any of this works though IMO -
Not at all, T2 would be able to get far better lawyers. It would be better for the entire KSP Community to Boycott T2, and Review bombing the game won't help either.

Alright here are possible scenarios I have gathered. Sc.A:T2 either has a Office in Seattle not tied to Game Development or it simply isn't listed that is getting the cut, and also has 70 Employees, and the KSP2 Devs have some NDA For some reason. VERY VERY UNLIKELY, hope its this but we all know deep down its not. SC.B:Intercept has more employees than we thought, and its their other unannounced game that is getting canned. Some Layoffs from the KSP2 dev team but not a world ending scenario. Also Unlikely but somewhat more possible. SC.C:Take2 is closing an office floor, and consolidating workspaces. IG Staff not tied to KSP2 are being laid off along with probably half the Dev Team. I have little idea about this one since its an Idea I saw on the IG Discord Server. Potentially Possible, but since I have no idea about it I really don't know. SC.D:Intercept is closing, but the Dev Team will be rehired at another Studio owned by PD/T2, or simply Private Division itself. Development stalls for a bit as the team readjust but gets back on track. Not unlikely but also not the most probable. SC.E:Basically the Same as Scenario D but the Dev Team gets shrunk by a lot, perhaps down to 15 people. More Possible and could see it happening SC.F:KSP2s Dev Team is taken off except for bare bones personnel, replaced by new dev team. Skeleton Original Crew pushes out a few patches, perhaps colonies, while teaching the new team the inns and outs of the games before being taken off to be replaced entirely. Possible. SC.G:KSP2 is on Life Support, the Dev Teams works for 2 months and gets out 0.2.2 and perhaps 0.2.3.0, followed by a very buggy and limited release of 1.0 containing Bare Bones versions of roadmap features, before development ends. Possible. SC.H: KSP2 is no longer developed at all, only support is the Fact it is on Steam. SC.I: T2 cans ksp2, but someone else for some reason purchases the game IP and restarts development (Pls Elon, or anyone really). Near-Impossible. (Note, I have never had a Job nor know anything about economics, this is just potential things I am throwing out there)

The Layoffs should only come into effect in June from what I understand, granted I'm not employed so what do I know. Either way I pray for those employees that just lost their jobs.

I think we need to take a Chill Pill, I agree, Worst case scenario game dev will end in 2 months, Best Case Scenario nothing happens. We have no control over it (Unless Elon Himself is watching the chat). What will it matter to T2 if a bunch of people online don't like it? To them we are simply ways of getting money, and as long as they get their dues they don't care. Also, remember guys if it WAS IG Got Layed off, that the CMS and Devs are inevitably somewhat shaken by this and probably in a bad mood and under a lot of stress, to us what is a game is to them their jobs and livelihoods. Show some Sympathy.

Haven't even figured out biomes let alone resources imo, I do hope to have them included one day though. I am going to include Procyon and LOTS of other stars that don't have systems eventually. Izar, Betelguese and Altair are among these stars. I am actually getting somewhat close to finishing the next update, which will be adding scatterer+Basic Eve support plus at least 2 (And One incomplete) Star System, Along with Dozens of background stars that will eventually have planets :). Kopernicus, Its Dependencies, and Kopernicus Expansion (Probably).

Also another suggestion, in Map Mode at least the Central Star's sun flare doesn't increase even when you get to the inner planets. Might wanna check out that brightness curve. -

In Regards to the poll I Believe it would (Personally) Be More wise to make more Natural Satellites should come first, this may be a popular opinion but science overall is not important to interstellar packs, as by the time you go interstellar you probably have most, if not all tech nodes unlocked (Unless you used the wormhole). Once you've finished the main system i'd say thats when you should consider making more stars, and I Personally suggest making them original rather than making them like Proxima Centauri. Its your choice though, loving the look of the mod! -
This could very well end up being the best planet pack in ksp1 History

Version 0.4 is out! Included are 2 New Systems, Flare Replacer support and a teaser of whats to come. Also, i changed the primary back to github since I was having issues with spacedock.

Version 0.3 is out! -Added Wolf 359 Star System! -Changed primary mod download site to spacedock. Up next are Ross 154 and Ross 248, then we get to Epsilon Eridani!

SUPERPLUTO126 PRESENTS…… DISTANT SKIES:A KSP MODPACK. What is Distant Skies? Distant skies has been a long dream of mine, this project was inspired by several other mods, such as ‘Galaxies Unbound’ ‘Infinite Discoveries’ and ‘Interstellar adventure revived’. Distant Skies seeks to add a Truly Significant amount of TRUE star systems to the game. Not only that, but it is also based heavily on real life solar systems. The Closest Star is Alpha Centauri, and I also have granted myself more artistic liberties here and added extra planets and moons when possible that are within the confines of realism. There are no habitable worlds in the nearest stars to kerbol, and even the atmospheres are scarce at best. You will have to get Crafty if you want to engineer craft to go here. How many Stars/Systems does this mod intend to add in the end? Yes, I dont even have a solid figure lol, I have an entire doc for a to-do list and half of it is systems i intend to add. You are free to make suggestions in the Discord for interesting stars with planets (Or even those that dont!). Of course I will be adding Tau Ceti, Epsilon Eridani and Trappist. I will also be adding more obscure systems, such as L-59 and Kepler 444. Why are the planets low quality?Where are the scatterers and Eve Atmospheres? Why are the Red Dwarves not red? I am new to planet modding, thus, don't expect starcrusher level stuff from me yet. Sunflares, clouds, better atmospheres are something I want too. There are no Biomemaps yet or Rational resources support, this is a VERY wip mod. Also before you ask I am aware of the issues on Proxima D, a Revamp of the planet is WIP. How Can I Help this mod in development? Playing it, making suggestions, and engagement. That is both very much a morale boost and helpful to diagnosing issues, making changes and improving all of our experiences.
