  1. P0. Come on, support us! Anyways, good night all. See you tomorrow.
  2. I really want kerbalkon to become a thing again. After KSP2, will there be more kerbal themed events?
  3. P8 Lets goooo. We're winning (I'm sure I won't regret saying that)
  4. Many people would say this is ludicrous. Some say that the original mammoth was ludicrous. KSP players believe that ludicrous is a nonexistent word. A word that would only exist if humanity and Kerbalkind both gave up on ambition. Ambition cannot exist if doubt does......I feel like I should add that to my signature
  5. It does, of course. I used the wrong term in my sentence. When I said overachieved, I meant that they were so accurate in their mapping, that some parts of the mapping are understandably glitchy. The fact that MSFS was able to achieve this is amazing itself. KSP's parallax, however, is free, made by one person, and doesn't have said glitches (For the most part). MSFS has better graphics and realism, but Parallax, in my opinion, set it's sights on the extremely fine line between high detail and high realism. MSFS and Parallax are both impressive in their own ways, and I agree with your point as well as my own (Although I definitely could have worded my statement better). Anyways, lets give a shoutout to the MSFS crew and GamesLinx for their amazing work
  6. What I meant is the attention to small detail is much better. I feel MSFS overacheived in their attention to detail and parallax is much more affordable. MSFS also needs a really good PC. In short, what I meant was overall. Definetly not in terms of graphics:)
  7. I got this one for $500 from best buy: CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop Intel Core i5-11600KF 16GB Memory NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 500GB SSD Black GXi3200BSTV3
  8. I did a Minmus mission. Sounds boring, but as I was doing experiments in ELMO (Extremely Low Minmus Orbit), I didn't realize I was about to crash into the highlands. I look to the front of the orbiter and see a menacing mountain quickly appearing over the horizon. I immediately ignited my engines prograde and did so at the right time. By the time I reached the peak of the mountain I was literally a meter away from ground level. It said so on the altimeter. Igniting my engines a split second later would have been the end of Linus, Lemburry, and Piper Kerman (Yes, the one from Emiko Station) Always worth it to go on a little road trip. Except you didn't take a road:) Did Kiebherr make the crane?
  9. An EXTREMELY good mod that has recently been massively revamped is Parallax. It makes ksp look like microsoft flight simulator and changes the terrain and underwater features of all celestial bodies (I don't know about Jool...). If you are concerned about collision with tiny rocks and harder landings, there is a solution. In the config file, you can change the collision settings from true to false or vice versa. Combined with EVE, Scatterer, and a decent computer, these mods will make your game stunning. Just don't overindulge on mods like I did. My old laptop dies after five minutes because of the amount of mods I installed
  10. Congrats! Today I suffered the arrival of the cold winter wind in Illinois
  11. (This wouldn't fit in gameplay questions, so I put it here). I noticed that I haven't really gained any reputation for a while, even though I have been active for the most part. A lot of people have so much more reputation than I do, but joined much later than I did. Thanks for the help.
  12. That would be pretty majestic, especially if you get it in LKO
  13. Geonovast became afraid. He expected the safety inspector to appear before dark. The team thought that massive boosters might counter the lack of struts on Kerbin. The mission would gradually devolve into reaction wheels, something literally revolutionary to Kerbalkind. How extraordinary that is, considering the effort required to make big ol' pitch forks and feather dusters with large torches, and wiggly tentacles playing the piano for fun. Exactly one week later, the inspector woke to find a great disturbance in the force - a PowerPoint presentation. The horror of it overcame him with great quantum superlinearecitation. A Massive vortex opened to reveal a terrifying cake-producing monster. The inspector immediately panicked and reached for his pogo-stick, deftly bouncing off the bed that he was floating on down the Nile and into the grasp of Curveball-Anders who spontaneously barfed. Rutabaga, meanwhile, emerged in the river of dreams. Snark saw Kerbiloid and thought, is that Adsii? What strange and bizarre manifestations appear when Aerodynamic Kerbal suffers from a ColdJ virus. Deddly, Vanamonde and TakeTwo ninja'd the cake as Admiral-Fluffy forlornly tried to soak a stolen dry bagel in lox. The cake-producing monster began slithering towards the first person to run a bakery in Dakota. Competition wasn't anything the monster felt like wasting time on. However, the mountain of cake was made inedible by the kraken. Boris
  14. Sorry. @JB182 (hasn't been online since late august. I think summoning him might work)
  15. Ooh. Emiko Station could be an actual terrestrial moon, and Just Jim could have Kerbals walk on it in the rumored sequel
  16. hmm. I haven't encountered that yet. Can you send a screenshot and also say whether or not it says the crew are still alive?
