  1. Sorry I thought the Rat Pack was still in there. I just booted CKAN back up and it updated The Rat Pack... so it was set to load but it didn't during that last launch. Testing it now to see if it kicks any errors.
  2. @Stone Blue , @linuxgurugamer, So I threw the baby out with the bath water and started all over. I'm running 1.12.4 with 1.12 compatibility, then threw in a few others that I really like. File Error. Whole bunch of Texture and Material errors... Some of the parts not found I think I can fix with some fenagling - copying and renaming. AYA_antennaRt might have to go as well. Oooo and an Invalid boolean error is not good.
  3. I tried installing all the USI mods that I could find and it threw even more errors into the mix. Some I fixed by going into the folders and coping, moving, or flat deleting the problem children. Sometimes I've even updated the CFG file because it was pointing to a folder that didn't exist or a texture. Other times I've copied another texture file and named it what it was looking for in the place it was looking for it...   4. My apologizes - Everything I'm doing is through CKAN - I install and launch from there. I create a Clone Instance from a Clean updated Steam updated game, Mod it, play it until an update breaks it, then start over again. The last Mod update before I started this reload I was in 1.12.3 and whatever updated caused all my parts to fall of on the launchpad. Struts were the first to fall off breaking things along the way. At that time I had over 298 mods installed. I know that you have a lot and what you are doing is a favor to us all... If you are able to find the issue with this great... if not, I'm resounding myself to just starting over once again and just use mods that are 11.0 > with only a rare few older ones. There are just so many fantastic mods out there, I'm mostly interested in parts more than functions, but those are out there too. Mods are like people... No matter what, some just don't get along with each other.

  6. That's pretty much what I've been doing. I pick a mod, update - see that it requires additional before launching... Uncheck it and install the dependent ones first to see how they react and then go to the one I was going to install and install that one. It's a very long process, especially when I'm going all the way back to a 0.90 Max game version mod like Mk2 Avionics, or Strip Symmetry... But they didn't kick up any errors at all. Wasn't until I got to the Karibou Explorer Rover that I started getting errors and it required USITools.

  8. @Lisias Hi, You are a busy person!!!! I'm installing TweakScale Everything v2.4.6.16 and get the fore mentioned Advisory message that it's compatibility is "Unknown". Has there been any issues reported as of yet, can I ignore this Warning? As you know of the issues I was facing and my attempt to restore... there are a lot of dependencies on TweakScale, even if it's not used. The Traits came when the USITools mod wanted to Add those traits into the system. I realize they don't cause any issues but wonder if there was a better way to add those traits that would not cause the errors. The thing that bugs me are those Addon Binder errors... I can't seem to find any research on how to fix those and wondered if you have knowledge on how. I will keep you updated as I go along. Right now, it's just install, launch, close, check log, repeat... trying to keep error count low and fix the ones I can before trying to play for the parts fall offs.
  10. Hello All, I'm currently reinstalling all my mods since updating to 1.12.4 (I was reluctant to update as you can see). I was installing (thru CKAN) @DMagic DMagic Orbital Science and found that it needed Universal Storage 1.4 to be installed. So I installed Uni 1.4 and Uni II Finalized v4.0.0.7. Same with MiniAVC. In checking the directories for Uni Stor 1.4 - I see the DDS files for RadialFood, Water, and Oxygen in each of the correct folders. Could it be that because KSP said it wasn't supported that it's not looking in those folders for these Textures? Anyone know what I can do to fix this? UPDATE: After installing TweakScale Everything (Redistribute and KSP Recall dependency) and launching - KSP gives and Unknown status for Tweakscale not working with 1.12.4. BUT, it did of course fix the TweakScale errors above but added others I'm sure are due to KSP Recall

    After fixing my issue with the Flexible docking ports and then re-reading these errors, I'm wondering if there is a dependency here that I might be missing.  This is looking for UniversalStorage  and since I don't currently have this installed, it would be the reason for this.   After installing both UniversalStorage 1.4, these directories appeared, BUT immediately upon loading KSP 1.12.4, I get an error message that pops up stating Universal Storage is not supported and to step my KSP down to 1.4  :( 

    I know that Uni Stor 1.4 is not your mod, but wanted you to know what I'm running into.  I'll reach out to those modders with hope they're still modding.

I quoted the above to show that I did go through the posts to see if my issue was resolved, but i don't see anything. I'm reinstalling all of my favorite mods after switching to KSP 1.12.4 and I'm on Flexible Docking Mod. The Github link on the subject talks about textures being in the xDeprecated folder, but doesn't really (in my mind) explain how to use this to copy or bring those textures out to where this mod is (or any mod) is looking for them to fix the issue. Is this just a matter of Copying and renaming the DDS files to model000 or model001 for example to fix these? UPDATE: I found that if I copied model000.dds into each of the 3 dockingport folders for squad it fixes the issue. Since that dds isn't already in those folders for 1.12.4, doing this caused no issues and resolved the above texture issue. Any and all help is appreciated. If I missed a post somewhere in my research... I apologize for that, going through 300 different mods and their associated forums for each is a long process and I'm old, so I do miss things at times.
  13. Now that Would be a GREAT Mod... One that identifies the correct component to run specific science! I don't know how many times I've Overloaded my ship with science equipment trying to find out Which one will do the trick. Your Above method appears to be my future answer to do just that.   15. Hello all! I'm back again asking questions. My game bonked out and I'm having to reload all of my mods again. I had upto 300 of them at the time it bonked. I've removed ALL mods and I'm reinstalling one-by-one. Right now I'm working from the Oldest to the Newest... And as I find issues, I try to bring them to the Creators in hopes for some answers.   16. Hello, I understand this thread is old and this Mod or rather the mod I'm working with is old as well (Non-Androgynous Docking Port Set v0.9.2). I was wondering if there is any chance this mod will get picked up or updated at all.     I have been in the process of Re-installing all of my mods one by one and checking the logs for errors, since one of the 294 mods I was running bonked up my game causing parts to just Fall off without ever leaving the launchpad.

    So in this process... I was installing Karibou Expedition Rover 0.1.1.0 - and the following errors popped up in my logs:

    Besides flat not installing this mod... is there any possible fix?

    I'm installing all of my Oldest Mods first and moving forward... this is only my 7th mod installed and it kicked 20 errors into the log (The other 8 are from USITools for PublicKeyToken and Pilot, Engineer, Science Traits already existing.). 

  18. @Lisias Okay I have to take back my question about how to install old cached mods. Dolp... I forgot I had to change CKAN settings for compatible versions so that I could let CKAN download and install the mods. I was just making a copy and inserting it into the instance. So... back to a fresh new copy and this time I've set CKAN to allow versions all the way back to 0.09 (to allow for the installation of MK3 Mini Expansion Pack, MK2 Avionics, Taurus HCV, SpaceX landing legs, Karibou Rover, Strip Symmetry - all of which are 0.9 - 1.09 Max version support - but they work). I'm going to install the oldest to the newest this time to see which if any of the old ones kick an error or Exception. With 294 mods that I have as my favorites... this is going to take a while. Not all 294 will get loaded as I know there are some that I just haven't used... but I think they get loaded due to relationships/dependencies, so we'll see.

  20. @Lisias I just ran up a saved game with just the Compatibles installed... ContractConfigurator just BORKED up an error message and a WHOLE bunch of my craft that were active couldn't load due to missing parts. Ugh. Since you're online. How do you suggest I install the Cached Mods that CKAN doesn't install. Before I was just copying the Folders from my Old Cached folder and pasting them into the active Instance I'm using in CKAN. In this case Test2 is the name of the Instance I'm using. But for testing... I think I'm first just going to create a new start career and see if parts fall off. First I'll install the mod that just Opens up all research areas, cheat and put 10 billion in funds so that I have access to all parts I use to build with for the test.

  23. @JonnyOThan Thank you for the reply. I'm working with Lisias on an issue where a whole bunch of parts are just Falling off on the Launchpad before ANYTHING is even touched. So, please bare with me as I reinstall everything, load up, test, and exit to create the log file for posting.
  24. @Lisias Please no apologies required... I can't thank you enough for looking into all of this in the first place. DMagic is a Mod itself and Author for DMagic Orbital Science and DMModule Science AnimateGeneric. Here is where I understand that I do create my own troubles because Orbital Science says Max Game version is 1.8.8. But as I've stated... there are several that state max version but still worked up until recently. I tried locating the CC_RemoteTech Mod and couldn't find it, but will look again. As for SCANmechjeb I REALLY hope that's not referring to SCANsat. I love that mod for the Maps it provides. I just figured out how to basically use it this year and would hate to lose it... but if it's a matter of lose it and play or keep it and not... well we know where that goes. February 2023 can't get here fast enough for me (KSP2 release).
  25. I understand that part... but there are a lot of older mods that while it may not say compatible they work. Toolbar controller says it works with 1.12.3, but when I try it with 12.4 it kicks errors into the log.
