Random Part reconfigs to create new wonders.
ColdJ replied to ColdJ's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hello. If anybody is interested in adding 4 new variations of paint job to ColdWarAerospace's CUCV then the texture files and the module config to add to the Part config are following. Please make sure to rename the PNG files to what I write and put them in the folder structure I layout so that the part configuration can find them. The following all go in this folder path Kerbal Space Program\GameData\ColdWarAerospace\Parts\Ground\CUCV This one needs to be called CUCVBlu CUCVRedB CUCVRedW CUCVYel And then within the config file CUCV.cfg (open with Notepad or equivalent) Copy the following inbetween the 2 last brackets of the configuration. So after the Module for inventory part and before the ending bracket. Then save and your all done. Enjoy. -
Hi all. I now have a half cylinder door that can be put on the side of a standard fuselage and be finessed into almost flush so that you can turn any size 1 tube into a cabin. (completely flush would make the door disappear under the skin.) I have a 7 rung fixed ladder for less part count and clearly painted to know which end is which. ( Though I don't think that is a issue with the latest KSPs any more.) I have a curved 7 rung ladder that wraps around size 1 fuselage by about 2 fiths, so three will go all the way around. ( I find as long as you tap your way along, the Kerbal will follow the ladders all the way around.) Added to the Startrek door and the sub hatch I think I have enough for an update. So if there any issues with last iteration, please mention them in the next 24 hours before I put out the update.

Waiter: Sadly if you try to use any of our spoons you will transform in to a mercury like substance and flow down your own throat, only to wake up in the soup. C:W, There is more to life in my soup than is dreamt of in your philosophy.

Ahh, I can see why I had no idea as I was thinking it was another mod

Ahh, but there in lies the rub. No one that want's to be a moderator will ever be a moderator. All the moderators were happy members like us, happily going about their forum days, when the powers from above plucked them from the mundane and said "You have been deemed worthy, from now on you are a moderator." Any who said "Do I have to be?" got the reply "Do you want to keep coming here?" and that was that. So if you strive to be a moderator then you will never be worthy to be ascended.

I am going to need a translation for that.

I had always wondered how people had flown squadrons in KSP pictures. Guess I know now. Haven't got an install with BDArmory (BDArmoury is for kinky french lovers) at the moment. After I found out that it's MM patch was adding armor to every craft and ruining the fine balance I had on some craft, I kind of went off it for a while. I did have some customised missiles I had done that fitted properly into the NMB enclosed missile bays, will have to go searching as this was before the computer meltdown some time ago. If I do a military build it will be much bulkier if I remember what a Hind looks like correctly.

10/10 Still famous but I miss your dodge ball player.

The sinkhole collapses so far that it breaks through a pocket of oil and compressed gas, the resulting uprushing wipes out the hill above and causes a massive spill. Spill Thrill Will Jill Gill Krill Trill Ill Skill Sill Pill Chill Frill Drill Fill Dill Kill Bill Grill Mill Still Hill I come in and clean up and Cap the oil well and use the profits to build a refinery in a hill. MY MONEY MAKING OIL WELL HILL.

Maybe the rest of the craft blew up as they were escaping and they ended up surfing the door on the blast wave.

H2 but no O What would it take to move the Earth? -
Here he is. Been building and testing helicopters and repainting Ford Bronco trucks. I have always wondered Mr @Hohmannson, are you the famous one?

Added a search and rescue helicopter based on @SPEKTRE 's brilliant Kind II helicopter. Their's available here https://kerbalx.com/SPEKTRE/Kind-II My K9N4 Search and Rescue here. https://kerbalx.com/ColdJ/K9N4-Search-and-Rescue2 Mine uses a hinge so you can tilt the rotor for level forward flight. Possibly useful for @Caerfinon's Sea rescue missions. Especially if you add some Kerbal Attachment System winches over each door to pluck survivors from the sea.

Yup. The sheer power of the subforum would cause the average users mind to go catatonic, best not to mess with things that us mere mortals could not comprehend and leave it up to those who were deemed worthy and raised from the mundane by the Gods to the positions of the enlightened ones.

Real Estate. Ever since humans started using caves, all the conflicts and explorations have been about Real Estate. Somebody realised that there is more surface area on a ball and so started huffing and puffing small volcanoes until they got it inflated. That is why the housing market is so inflated. What is a few atoms between friends? -
Yes I agree that is true But you were by three weeks overdue. So I thought it all done Said thanks for the fun. And was writing the rhyme for adieu.

It doesn't want to move and the wheels are sunk in to the terrain because you haven't rotated them 90 degrees clockwise in the SPH. All wheels come in on their sides but it is more obvious when they have shock towers. I am pretty sure that I put this info in the read me section. The wheel nut with the grease around it should be at the top when it is the right way up or look on the back of the wheel and there is an arrow to show you where up should be. The reaction wheels for pitch have just enough so you can lift the front or back up to climb over small obstacles. This is especially handy for getting up onto the flat open cargo pod. If you set it up right you can have three AquaCats with micro docking ports docked to the platform, Then take the platform by Eagle to another planet, undock when you get there, drive wherever you like, come back and use the pitch control to get the AquaCat back onto the platform and redock and then be on your way.

The Planet Earth. Those are the 3 most abundant gases in our atmosphere. Because that would be cruel. I wonder if there should be a science class that explains all the chemistry, geology, mathematics and physics that go into making a smart phone? -
Once more to the breach my dear friends. It seems that this thread's reached it's ends. Remember when diving. The key to surviving. Don't rise fast or you'll get the Bends.

Sedentry. For when you have to repeat to people how they can get in.

To get this rolling again. I wish that the KSC pool slid back to reveal Thunderbird 1 and you could open the SPH to reveal Thunderbird 2.

Waiter: Because the soup is too hot and it want's to get out. C:W, There is what I believe to be a Dragon Egg, Left by the Queen of Dragons, in Kerbiloid's soup.
