  1. Delta IV GSE is universal at both SLC-37B at Cape Canaveral as well as at SLC-6 at Vandy- The only difference that I'm aware of is the difference in the Launch Mate Unit (LMU) that connects the CBC's to the launch table at both sites, which is changed out if the Delta IV is a Heavy. As you can see below, it’s the grey thing connected to the bottom of the rocket before it's raised by the fixed pad erector at SLC-37B or SLC-6 into the launch table. The Mobile Service Tower and Lightning protection systems aren't public and are custom additions by me. I may release them in the future but they aren't really intended for public use in their current state. the actual Launch Umbilical tower and launch table are provided by Modular Launch pads, as Goldforest said above.
  2. Testing... Testing.... Testing (Gotta make sure the launch sequencer works correctly, wouldn't want a TCSR Abort!)
  3. SPACEPORT NEWS- 01 DECEMBER 2024 EDITION Hey everyone!- I know that I've been gone a while. School and sports have been crazy this year and it's been hard for me to get back to my previous launch cadence, but with my fall sport ending, I'm going to be able to launch a lot more going into next year. I haven't (really) been gone from the game either, as I've been regularly playing KSP and building some really, really super cool stuff that I can't wait to share with everyone! ALSO!- Make sure to follow me on Twitter/X to get some new behind the scenes views of mission creation and what I'm up to. I may also make a BlueSky account soon to crosspost on also, and I'll let everyone know if I do that. https://x.com/collectingksp?lang=en
  4. This thing is dead- I’m pretty sure of it. Has been for a bit. I thought the whole thing was kinda odd when I stumbled upon the fact (a few weeks ago) that you sell this model. Would love to see a real X-38 mod that adds in V-201 or subsequent versions (I.E. V-301/Production ACRV,) but this probably won’t happen anytime soon. I would do it but my blender skills are limited at best.
  5. Yes Please! Looks absolutely awesome- can't wait to see how the crew escape area of the tower turns out!
  6. Daily roundup- 8/21 Worked on my version of NASA's X-38 ACRV prototype, which will eventually fly to my ISS Replica. I took heavy inspiration from User @Kuiper_Belt's X-38 in "Shuttle Adventures," So it looks very, very similar to his. It's got a lot of work left to be done (Mainly the DPS,) but the main vehicle looks great! Worked a tad on my upcoming DSCS mission, which will launch at some point this weekend or early next week on a Delta IV Medium (4,0.) Here's some WIP images! X-38 Assured Crew Return Vehicle V-201 (WIP)
  7. Some of the statics are public, but most aren't. The majority of the actual pad structure and mobile service/assembly towers are completely custom, with some of the greebles being from other KK mods. I've also made custom statics for SLC-37B at Cape Canaveral, that way I can get it looking as realistic as possible.
  8. Will these parts have light/dark grey variants? In the 90s, the USAF repainted the tower light grey, and in the early 2000s, Boeing painted some sections dark grey when they reused parts of the tower for Delta IV. About 50% of the shuttle tower still remained for Delta IV, and the other 50% was built new by Boeing. Some info and images about post-shuttle ops can be found Here and also Here but it’s written in French. There are also other SLC-6 pages on this site that have been extremely useful to me while modeling the MST/MAS.
  9. Might go well with something I’ve been working on… (very much a work in progress) Any chance of the Delta IV tower at Vandy?
  10. They’re a Reddish-Brown color, almost like how they are in the mod currently due to exposure. They appear either pinkish or more dark red depending on the lighting conditions, as goldforest has described. however, it would still be nice to have a vibrant red variant just to represent the module as it was shortly after launch.
  11. Daily roundup- 7/23 Worked on a custom solar panel design derived from Near Future Solar For DSCS-III Satellite Replicas (Sorry, no sharing due to licensing!) Worked on Preliminary Primer Vector Guidance implementation for Soyuz 2.1B and built a prototype of my version of the Roscosmos TGK-PG Supply ship concept, which will service my ISS replica eventually Worked on upcoming Delta IV launches for DSCS, Zvezda SM, and the Z1 truss, and prepared to shift around statics at my custom SLC-37B replica Prepared for my upcoming NROL-10 Launch on Antares prepared images for release of my ISS replica Released A new Spaceport news Here's some WIP images! DSCS-III (WIP) TGK PG (WIP) ISS Replica (Next Module launch NET Mid-August)
