  1. I've always had a bit of a temper, so Rafael is the one I identify with the most. Also, Porthos loves his drink and his ladies, so there's that. And Jeb best embodies the insanity and bravery of our early space program, so definitely Jeb.
  2. People are way too caught up on the color of Kerbals. Just look at the diversity in color of mammals on Earth and it's easy to see how selection, both natural and engineered, can account for their greeness. Maybe ancient Kerbin was dense jungle and it's effective camoflauge. Maybe the sun's rays hit Kerbin differently and the green helps diffuse harmful rays. Maybe green is sexy to Kerbals and they naturally evolved it through breeding. Don't know, but there are lots of potential reasons. It's their shape that is the head-scratcher. That giant, flat-topped head. Short arms. Insane center of balance... It's the why they have those bodies that troubles me.
  3. Sounds like a good user mod to me. I hate the idea of poo-pooing anybody's wish list, but I'd rather any potential time spent on this by the Devs be spent in a dozen other ways instead.
  4. The only level of Life Support functionality I want is to install a LS component to my stuff and call it a day. I don't want to hear that life support has been breached, or he's running out of air, or that Warrior needs food badly. That kind of micromanaging in a game this complex would be a huge turn-off for me. I've got more than enough to do already.
  5. I'm way more concerned about how they're going to handle things like Science and Kerbucks across multiplayer. I'm seriously torn whether I think you should absolutely be allowed to hop in to your buddy's game just as they're about to unlock an achievement and get it as well, or whether that fundamentally breaks the game. If I could have leap-frogged certain objectives in KSP1 just by being Co-Op with my buddy when she beat them would have fundamentally, drastically changed how I played the game.
  6. For my money, the more ways they explain things the better. These are some complex concepts with a lot of internal rules you have to follow, so I want cartoon tutorials with soft British voice overs and links to wikis that will also connect you to actual astronauts up on the ISS who can use the co-op feature to hop into your game and interact with the British nanny to tell me how stupid I am in six different ways, none of which actually make me feel bad for being so dumb.
  7. It's not accurately simulating water operations unless our kerbals can get The Bends. The little guys come up too fast, get a pained look on their faces, fall down and curl themselves up into little balls. Unless you can rush them into a decompression chamber. Which nobody's taken the time to build. So they either have to wait for the nitrogen to purge itself or for their inevitable end. Tragic.
  8. The number of tutorials we're going to need to learn how to use all this stuff is staggering. Oh! Suggestion: We get awarded actual accredited degrees once we complete the campaign.
