  1. I have an old flight computer that works exactly like that. Itll come back in later. Even has a queue and cancel.
  2. Here's a nice Quality of Life improvement: assigning a GUID for the current active vessel and adding it to the target lists. Allows unloaded satellites to always point a dish at whatever your current vessel is.
  3. Rofl. Geostationary altitude is at like 30.000 km. KSC reaches to 75.000 km. It should work fine.
  4. The intended goal for kOS would be to have it work while there's no connection. Currently all autopilots will lose input when there is no connection.
  5. That's not an omnidirectional. Largest omnidirectional is 5Mm...
  6. If you just want line of sight, mod them to an absurd number in the 500Gm range.
  7. If you want a geosynchronous 3 satellite configuration the required antenna range would be 2* (radius + height) * cos 30deg = 2* (2868km+600km) * 0.866 = approx 6Mm. Not enough for the strongest omnidirectional antenna of 5Mm. However, four satellites or using dishes, would work. Four satellites: sqrt(2*(2868km+600km)^2) = approx 4.9Mm
  8. I put out 1.0.7. Use that and reload your affected vessels and it should work.
  9. Yup. But I'll see if I can change it up so manned crew works as well... A mechjeb casing will work for you as they contain a probe core.
  10. Replied with a quite long and gibberish monologue. Your ground station does not have a Signal Processor and can not relay signals. Common error, not the cause. Re-enable all your mods till the problem re-occurs to pinpoint the problem.

  14. What you have to do is add a ModuleSPU to the AIES_Aerospace probes. Just look at how RemoteTech_Squad_Probes.cfg does it and add a file for the AIES ones. RT1 worked in a similar way where you first had to edit the part to enable the functionality. Here all plugin part data is put into the ModuleManager files instead of the part.cfgs.
  15. Yeah it's MechJeb. Note "Local Control" in the top left. If you have the latest mechjeb and 1.0.5 MechJeb's AR202 casing should now no longer work. If it still acts the same could you check if the part name of the AR202 casing under the configs matches what is in RemoteTech_Mechjeb.cfg?
  16. You are running this on 0.22 I hope? Because the stock animation system was changed. Anyhow, beats me. Send me your KSP_Data/output_log.txt and I can have a look but no promises. If more people end up with your issue I can have a bigger look but none of my testing team had an issue like this. I'll stress again to make sure you have a connection (top left says D + 0.0000s and green button) before using Activate.
  17. Are you sure you actually have a connection when turning the things on and off? If you have no connection the deactivate button does nothing. I can not reproduce any further error with missing animation. Most antennas also snap off in atmosphere, so maybe it was stuck inside your craft and broken. As for the tracking dishes, you can use them if you write some cfgs for them. The tracking won't work though because that is not currently included. Just regular on/off animation.
  18. Signal Delay at the mun is like a millisecond. Nothing to worry about. I signed up for the project to make automated scriptable Duna skycranes possible =D.
  19. I need more info. What antennas did you put on there? The dipoles are on by default. If the top left corner says Local Control you have some mod part or crew doing the work.
  20. 1) Indeed a bug if your statement is correct. I'll have a look. 2) Intended. The science transmission can only take place over links that lead back to KSC. As such antennas are not automatically activated or disabled.
  21. I don't use kOS but someone complained to me that kOS has an ingame editor thingy. Pressing the number buttons or space will activate your groups and does not get blocked.
  22. Can you confirm all works properly with that fix? It didnt seem to affect my tester and I'm wondering if it was correctly tested .
