  1. I'm glad to hear that console users are not gettting the short end of the stick. More happy players is always a good thing!
  2. Yeah better hold on to that one eh! My girl is almost there though haha While I play mainly old games, she always wants to play the latest and greatest, thus she grows increasingly annoyed with our old computer. Only a matter of time me thinks...
  3. I heard that the reason that women can handle G loads better, is because they generally have a shorter vascularly system. In other words, less blood to pump around means less stress on the heart/body. Nothing demeaning if that's what you were afraid off. Just fact. When I applied for a career as a pilot, I heard all the time that most women pilots, eventhough there're not many, were great pilots!
  4. Keep us posted about your progress okay @kirkmyster? I've only done a handfull of shuttle-landings myself a few years back, so I'd like to know what's up nowadays.
  5. The closest I've ever been was Curaçao. Is the weather in Trinidad anything like it? If so, phew! I tell you, I'm not build for an environment like that. Wearing a blouse, shorts and flipflops is almost a must eh?!
  6. While we don't have such extreme weather conditions here in western Europe, I swear, it's getting more weird every year. This summer's the coldest it's ever been. So much so that some plants are already dropping their leaves, birds are still laying eggs, and I'm still forced to wear a jacked to work. This week is much better though. Sunday I took a nice stroll along the beach and today we BBQ! I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest as it seems this nice weather is getting more and more rare.
  7. Also, should go without saying, dump some programs (temporarily) while you're at it. Really, I have two tabs of KSP-forum opened in Firefox and the thing is already eating over 300 MB's. The half a dozen updaters running in the background can't be good either...
  8. Yes, I've got a similar feeling. But the game is (almost) finished, so it's time to move on. I'm good with Squad abandoning KSP after they've fixed (most) bugs. Especially the game-breaking ones. And perhaps some more minor pollish. Yet, I also have a feeling that KSP tasted like more for Squad and that another game is bound to be produced by them and/or former employees. Looking forward to that!
  9. Do you have a joystick/gamepad connected? Sometimes I have the exact same thing happening and that was the cause. You can see your (roll) rotation gauge being slightly off centre when SAS is off.
  10. A bit of a necro but still a relevant one in my oppinion. And to answer: Yes! I became a fan yesterday when I played the original Homeworld for real this time. I don't know why it never gripped me when I bought it when it came out but, since yesterday, I became a fan overnight. Perhaps because I've developed a lot more patience now that I'm older. I haven't rage-quit yet and have gotten further than last time. So that's good. It also helped that installing and running the game (original CD no less!) on a Windows several versions newer since development went without a hic-up. That surprised me really. Most other old games don't want to run in some way or another. To me it shows how well it was put together back then. Good game!
  11. Granted. You have a very nice sushi conveyor belt running in between your keyboard and monitor with dishes prepared by the finest japanese sushi chef in the world! Alas, after the 13th time of eating the fugu your number comes up and you die. Even the best sushi chefts make mistakes... I wish for a KSP controller with all the bells and whisles (not real or fake bells and whisles either!).
  12. Granted. Danny2462 will release a new video! Though you'll have to wait for it... I wish the summer we have right now would feel less like autumn and more like a real summer.
  13. Thanks for the tips! In the future, I'll be on the lookout for more of your stuff. By the way, I don't know if you already know, but your Baserunner is featured on Kotaku! http://kotaku.com/a-homeworld-buggy-for-the-home-1782781232
  14. Wow! Excellent job! I especially like the weathering effects you applied. How did you make the rust-marks, etc? Dilluted brown perhaps?
  15. Granted, though an eight is actually E 3, which stands for: error 3, corruption. I wish for it to be clear skies everytime I want to use the telescope.

    New Here

You learn more from KSP anyway... Welcome to the forum!
  17. As much as I like aircraft, being a plane nut myself, there's already a big amount of (specialized) adapters cluttering up the parts folders of KSP and degrading loading times. Yes yes, I know, I can delete the parts I feel are unnecessary, but you can't expect people to do so. Modding is not for everyone.
  18. The only official ingame way is having them die. Otherwise, like the others said, modifying the persistent files is your only other option.
  19. Very insightful thread! I had no idea that KSP (land)trains could be so complicated to build/drive. But I've always been wondering, where did the hype train come from? I suppose it's one of you that's responsible for this infectious phenomenon!
  20. LEDARE Led E27 1000 lumen, dimbaar, globe opaalwi IKEA. I was looking for some lightbulbs. Gotta have those or the darkness gets free reign in our house.
  21. You didn't by any chance configure both your primary and secondary axes in KSP? That along with some inversions produced the results you're having in my game.
  22. Granted. Everything was perfect in your virtual prison of which you don't know you occupied. Then someone rescues you and you realize that the world's gone to hell. I wish we have hover vehicles instead of wheeled ones. And I wish I didn't get ninja'd! I'll get you next time!
  23. Their eyes are big so they can collect more light and see (more) celestial objects (better). It's only natural since they are a spacefaring species.
  24. Granted! HIgher res, but the colors are inverted.
  25. Using pretty biology as an avatar is considered cheating!
