  1. I really feel like this is still relevant judging by recent gameplay videos. How come the star exhaust does not damage parts it touches? Boo star exhaust! No more!
  2. One thing I've been curious about is a possible multiplayer feature that would allow multiple players to design vessels (stages) at the same time in the VAB. For everyone one person would work on the rocket while another world build the payload - at the same time, in the same VAB room. This feature would also allow more experienced players to teach beginners how to design and build correctly. Has anyone seen any clue about this feature?
  3. Sounds so good - random part failure would make for great improv moments. But.. parts wearing out should be the main cause of failure. Randomness should be statistically transparent. Always hated that I don't really have a reason to use a launch escape outside of paying without reverting. But then you can get kraken attacks and failures should be a separate thing from bugs. I want more emphasis on careful unit and integration testing - but when you launch you should also know the percentage of possible random failure and take a chance.

  5. Exactly. They are testing and adapting design decisions. A lot of the work for the road map features is already done.

  10. We're paying to support the game and for the privilege of providing feedback that guides development. I'm ok with it, would pay even more for access.

  14. Yes, can't wait for the multiplayer feature video that's going to spark the really controversial discussions. The minimum we can hope for is that multiplayer is well integrated, simple to use and fun.

If we are going to be able to build racing and off-road wheeled / tracked vehicles, please also give us the ability to build walking vehicles (from 1 legged hoppers to multiple legged walkers to centipedes). It's a really cool transportation and manipulation platform with a lot of practical uses, especially for base building and exploring.
  16. That is false. There are many topics that have been avoided by saying "I can't get into that, no comment etc.". We know there was a multiplayer feature video in the plan. I'm just asking where it is 2.5 years after it was mentioned.
  17. No it does not. You just set the destination in the journey planner, desync from multiplayer and warp to the transfer window. The server shows you the appropriate map screen configuration. You resync to multiplayer when you arrive at the destination.
