  1. At this point it's safe to assume the worst, they clearly don't care about the mega nuke going off here. If this was all a big misunderstanding, we would've been informed.
  2. Nate's picking up a shift at his local car dealership, he's made a killing doing it. Probably going to be a while before we hear from him!
  3. This sums up my feelings pretty well.
  4. "So today we realized, the hell with development! We already got your money! So guess what's coming next? Shutting down the studio and calling it a wrap! See you guys in 8 years!" - Nate Simpson (Alternate Universe #054)
  5. @Scarecrow71 15,000 signatures and 10,000 $ retainer - would be to be brought to a larger law firm before they considered taking action. Lawyer said there's a case, but my local law office completely refused to do anything, take 2 apparently has a legal team around the size of 2 law firms. Ofcourse if KSP2 gets canceled then we could go ahead with the lawsuit, but it's not gonna happen. Was worth getting an opinion tho.
  6. I seriously hope that they continue the development of KSP2. Regardless if it's with a new studio, or new team. I don't want to see this project canned. There. Is. So. Much. Potential.
  7. Heck yeah, this is extremely helpful, and I am located in Tennessee. Since I am contacting a local lawyer next week, I can run this by him and see how plausible it is. Now, there's no official statement saying they've cancelled the game - so if that day comes that's when we would need to take action (obviously) only mentioning it because of some of the other replies on this thread.
  8. Which nate and many other developers have said many times. 4 and counting to be exact 3 of which were in an AMA. Currently compiling a video of all the broken promises and maybe it could shed some light on it for people who aren't completely up to date with everything they've said.
  9. Sure it's true that EA comes with inherent risks, many in our community feel that they were assured of ongoing development and eventual completion based on repeated statements from the developers. There's a sentiment that promises made about the game's funding and future were not upheld. The issue at hand isn't solely about changing development direction or any sort of funding factors affecting game development. It's more about the communication and representations made to consumers during the EA phase, and whether those representations align with the closure of the studio and the shockingly scary future of KSP2. The intention behind discussing legal options is not to imply entitlement but rather to seek clarity and potential remedies for those who feel misled or let down by the circumstances surrounding this game's development and the studios closure. BUT I'm glad you got a laugh out of it.
  10. I have arranged a meeting with a local lawyer that has a lot of experience in contractual obligations and consumer rights for next Thursday. (Thank god for free assessments) I'm going to work on editing a clip of all the times they've said the game won't be canceled, they've been funded and that the game will get seen throughout development.
  11. Removed it from the original post, I had only went in the EULA and Ctrl + f'd arbitration. Thanks for being so well versed in these long legal agreements.
  12. How so? Forcing the parent company to give us our money back is literally the only thing we're able to do.
  13. Hey there people. With all the recent developments surrounding the closure of Intercept Games and the uncertain future for the game have raised some questions from myself and a few other members in the IG Discord. Many of us are extremely frustrated and trying to get any answers about the fate of the game we were all so excited to support. Which brings me to my question - some people have been discussing the possibility of pursing legal action against take-two interactive. So... Are we as a community able to initiate a class action against take 2 for what many perceive as breach of trust and failure to deliver on promises made during the early access phase? I've went through and stored all the development posts, kerb, etc. All of which promise a great future for the development and game as a whole. I guess I'm hoping someone here may have some insight or experience related to consumer rights or contractual obligations or any other legal options that could shed light on this issue. PS. And before anyone says we can't do anything. Here recently games that don't hold up to their promises have been getting shut down and sued. I forgot the name of it, but it literally just happened a few months ago with some asset flipped game - while I know that doesn't apply directly to us.
  14. See, these guys get it. Won't catch me handing over any more money to this studio until they can figure out the communication situation and boy take 2 sure is lucky they bought out rockstar games. Can't wait until these greedy executives get their 30 million dollar bonus at the end of the year.
  15. my favorite reply in this whole thread is this.
  16. Are you able to replace the science icons in the mission control with the corresponding icons for what they represent? Is it possible to somehow get a costs menu open when you're building your craft?
  17. I can't even fathom being this good at kerbal space program..... Maybe one day.
  18. @cfloutier Good job on the new update, do you plan on add rendezvous and auto docking?
  19. This isn't related to the actual space station but I seen the thread and wanted to post an image of my space station.
  20. This is probably a pipe dream, but I would love to see @cfloutier and @schlosrat team up to incorporate these two amazing mods into a single mod! Overhaul the UI and utilize each other's strengths to bring us an extremely well-rounded mod with an amazing optional autopilot.
  21. Yes; however you may need launch a few times to get it perfect. I had to launch 4/5 times to make sure I did my ascent correctly. I think you can get to orbit with around 3100 Dv as a bare minimum. You're making it to orbit with the same amount, but you have Dv left over! Gotta ride that line!
  22. It seems we've found ourselves in a good ol' fashion engineer off. I'm impressed with your determination, but I am afraid to say I've beaten you again! Total Mass: 0.64 t I also did a run without the stabilizer wings which brought it down to 0.63 Tons
  23. After some modifications and tweaks here's what I was able to get; Total Mass = 1.11 t
  24. Your idea sparked some interest in me and made me want to give this challenge a try! I am also afraid to say that I've beat your score by 0.02 tons. Sorry not sorry! Hey! I made you a badge! I don't typically involve myself in challenges, but this one seemed simple enough I could knock it out quite easily.
