I launched Titanic into space and this happened
-
Audaylon has taken the helicopter to the next level and now has a stable non rotating body. This is a great achievement!
-
Haha yes. That's a good idea. There is a craft share here too but doesn't count the downloads unfortunately.
-
OG ( Original Grahamster) has done it. The first flying helicopter using the Audaylon wheel bearing! Well done OG and Great work! Here is his video of his epic helicopter: I wonder what is next for the Audaylon bearing
-
My first attempt at the Aldaylon wheel bearing. Long way off yet but promising results so far
-
Probably a easy fix I was just so impressed with the rotating hubs. Never know it might make it possible to build a helicopter
-
Hey Everyone, you have to check out Audaylon on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/@Audaylon Really is impressive that he has managed to build a working hub bearing. I was so impressed with this and had to share with you guys and maybe take up the challenge of building a plane with working rotor or maybe even a helicopter As far as I know, no one has created a rotating bearing in ksp2 until now. Certainly is next level design imo and thinking out the box design. Here is a link to his paddle boat using the hub bearing design: For anyone who fancies a go at creating something that uses the Audaylon wheel bearing, here is the video tutorial on how to build it

Hydrofoil Aircraft Carrier "The Leviathan"
Madishmike replied to Heretic391's topic in The KSP2 Spacecraft Exchange
That is so cool! What a beast Yeah shame about the FPS when you build this big. Hopefully this will improve in time. One thing though is although FPS is low, when you speed up the video it's surprisingly smooth. Good frame timing I guess. -
What a great idea for players to get involved to build/ share different early tier crafts for science!

Random crashes
Madishmike replied to chatolpv's topic in KSP2 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Hi Chatolpv, I'm assuming your referring to ksp1? A good place to start is verify your files. Are you running any mods? If so remove and retry after verification again. Check temps on CPU and GPU. If all good and assuming you have the latest drivers / updates for your system, run checkdisk for errors on that particular drive, download and run malwarebytes and scan for malicious software. If all above is good run command prompt under administrator and type fsc/scannow and run. If there are errors click repair. If it says some errors couldn't be fixed, type DISM/Online/Cleanup-Image/Restorehealth Can take a while to complete but should fix any errors within windows. Hope this helps -
Tips on How to build planes
Madishmike replied to -dbv-'s topic in KSP2 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Hi Kdaviper, I'm thinking of doing a tutorial on this but to answer some of your issues. I use the small beam in symmetry mode to create additional clipping points to attach items including engines to wings/ landing gear etc. These can be pulled into the craft so are hidden. The Goliath engine can clip straight to the wing but usually are at a angle that you can adjust to the right position. What issues are you having with landing gear? If you would like you could add a pic or a video and I can see the best way to resolve the issues you are having -
Leave it at the bottom of sea and send a submarine to investigate
-
Only slightly by 152 tonnes

Hey Everyone! Put together a blimp/Airship based on the Goodyear air balloon in kerbal Space Program 2. (KSP 2) Added additional engines for space flight both methalox and nuclear combined. Can be stripped of the rocket engines and just use as a normal airship if you so wish. My attempt to get to a stable orbit with this138 part Airship in the video. Thanks Dakota! Glad you enjoyed it Thanks Malathion! On my channel there is a short of that but there is no collision unfortunately on the iceberg. Shame
-
Hey Everyone, What would of happened if Kerbals built the Titanic? Created in Kerbal Space Program 2 (KSP2) with a total of 693 parts! Even managed to get Kerbal Jack,Rose and the iceberg in there too Available to download at the KSP Forum and builds.com but be warned, the build is tough to render at a sensible fps. Big shout out to OG (@Originalgrahamster) for making this possible with working out how to teleport crafts. Link to the video: https://youtu.be/XfL2pj4ANzw Music by Ali Husan: https://youtu.be/kCljZxg7TUo For Flight click the control point on top of the rear doorway. (control from here) Fuel tanks are empty for buoyancy but can add some or use infinite fuel. Guys, I can't get back to ship...
Madishmike replied to Joka's topic in KSP2 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Did you try Lowering the spring strength on the suspension? You can do that on the fly. Might just lower enough to help. -

That looks possible to jetpack jump Could try lowering the suspension settings on the craft or put a angled ladder on it. -
Hi, you can do a custom resolution in global settings in the app data stored on your c drive. Just open the json file with notepad. Edit and save.
