No Kerbal Ragdolls
Jaypeg replied to BowlerHatGuy3's topic in KSP2 Suggestions and Development Discussion
I think its important and should be added, but also have a "hard-cancel" feature where if you tap space, it just immediately cancels the ragdoll -
I recently in my science save took a small trip with kerbals to bop, hearing that there are new discoverable locations around the system I assumed there would be something in the massive crater that bop now has. I took my kerbals down the the surface and found... nothing This post is to highlight how there should be something for there. After a massive explosion from a collision with another body, there should be some kind of remnant, alien craft, asteroid core or other object that fills that space, otherwise what is the point of taking the significantly riskier journey down to that part of bop? Especially when other parts of bop have things like And such. Maybe this is already in the works, I don't know, but just a reminder about it.

I know people sometimes are divided about bloom in videogames, but ksp 2 looks amazing at times with it, so here is my suggestion. On bop, currently, there is a bloom system in place. Other bodies also have this system but it was most visible on bop. This is a relatively light affect and it adds a lot to the feel of the game, and how pretty it looks, while masking the currently underperforming AA system. It also makes Jool properly shine, and other bodies in the Joolian system have a nice glow to them. BUT the problem is that this isn't on all bodies in the game. The mun could really use this system to highlight the highlands around the mares of the mun, and make kerbin stand out more in the sky. TLDR: MAKE BLOOM AFFECT EVERY BODY Just an idea, let me know what you think of it.

Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 (latest) | CPU: I9 CPU Intel | GPU: 3060 6 gb (laptop) | RAM: 16 GB As the title says, this mission does not allow for using unpowered plane landing gear. This may be a UI/writing problem as it may not specify correctly, or maybe a bug to do with checking what parts should be included. Either way this is causing confusion. Expected: When using a craft with 4 plane landing gear, a truss, a battery and a rover seat and all other needs for the mission the mission should complete. What happens: The mission does not complete How to test: Follow steps in "expected" category above This bug has been tested and happens in any save file, and also on different computers.

Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 (latest) | CPU: I9 CPU Intel | GPU: 3060 6 gb (laptop) | RAM: 16Gb As the title suggests this is a bug concerning the performance of looking within a fairing in the VAB editor, causing an average over 5 tests and different shapes a ~7fps loss. To replicate: Make a craft with a fairing (I tested using SM), then make the fairing transparent. It will lose you performance. Video shows the effect. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 (latest) | CPU: I9 CPU Intel | GPU: 3060 6 gb (laptop) | RAM: 16 GB As title says, the blue ping will go off even if your craft cannot collect any new science. This is not good, obviously as it may cause a loss of EC and more work from the player than needed. How to replicate: Send a craft with only, for example, Science Jr to a destination and collect science at that location then transmit/recover that science. Send a second, identical (in science gathering capability) to that same location. The ping will go off even though there is no science to gain. Hope this makes sense.
