  1. Could never build a plane in KSP, let alone one that gets into orbit.
  2. 1/10 Saw you exactly one time
  3. Mission 38 Payload: Wanderer-1 Description: A probe designed to make a fly-by of Jool. It is mainly powered by a radioisotopic thermoelectric generator and carries a small atmospheric entry probe. Mass at launch: 0.647 t (fly-by probe: 0.417 t; atmospheric probe: 0.230 t) Launch Vehicle: Bottle Type-01 (from now on, I will refer to it as Type, not Mk.) Mission objective: Make a low-altitude fly-by of Jool and deploy the atmospheric probe. (Optional objective: Achieve solar escape velocity.) Fairing cut-away: Travelling through interplanetary space for over a year: Jool encounter (13 days to periapsis): The atmospheric probe separates from the rest of the spacecraft... ...in order to put some distance between the two. Atmospheric probe about to enter: I didn't want to put a Rockomax Brand Adapter 02 giant heat shield, so just pretend that this is shaped like this instead of a box. Falling through Jool's atmosphere (parachute always breaks at 500 m). Laythe can be seen in the background. (I went back to an earlier quicksave, because I can't switch vessels while in the atmosphere) After reaching periapsis, the probe burned its remaining fuel... ...to place it on a solar escape trajectory.
  4. I've noticed that you used Sumerian mythology as the basis for your naming scheme. It's quite different from the usual Greco-Roman stuff.
  5. And here they are: Mission 37 Payload: Nebula-5 (Mk. 01c) Description: Testing the replacement of Illuminator Mk1s with Mk2s. (Turns out that they really are weak unless you get very close to the target) Launch Vehicle: Bottle Mk. 02-2S Mission objective: Rendezvous and dock with Futurelab. Crew: Hermy, Guslas, and Shepsby Kerman
  6. Mission 36 Payload: Futurelab node module Description: A module with several docking ports for extra modules. Mass at launch: 5.820 t Launch Vehicle: Bottle Mk. 02-2S Mission objective: Dock to the Futurelab core module. Rendezvous: The node module was detached from the second stage to continue towards the station (RCS is closer to the center of mass this time): Docked:
  7. Mission 35 Payload: Dawn-2 Description: A spacecraft designed to make scientific observations while in orbit around Eve. Mass at launch: 0.269 t Launch Vehicle: Onion Stick Mk. 03a Mission objective: Establish an orbit around Eve. Approaching Eve after entering its sphere of influence: Prior to insertion burn: Intial orbit after capture: Using the remaining fuel, this was turned into a 1000 km polar orbit: Did you know? All KASDA space probes have carried internal metal plates which contained images of Kertsune Miku.
  8. Flying to and exploring other places in the solar system.
  9. If you have to show a dark side shot, use the galaxy as a background to highlight the silhouette of the spacecraft.
  10. By that I mean that the probe enters the Jool system and does fly-bys of its major moons.
  11. (edit: reuploaded to imgur) Mission 34 Payload: Futurelab power module Description: Extra solar panels for the Fl space station. Mass at launch: 5.832 t Launch Vehicle: Bottle Mk. 02-2S Mission objective: Dock to the Futurelab core module Rendezvous. What followed was a difficult docking (due to the RCS being slightly off the center of mass). Docked: Nebula-4 relocated itself to the other docking port on the station:
  12. By the way, is kethane mining really worth it? Let's say you're mining on the Mun. Do you get more fuel from the kethane you mined than the fuel you used up to land on and take off from the Mun?
  13. (edit: reuploaded to imgur) Mission 33 Payload: Nebula-4 (Mk. 01b) Mass at launch: 17.640 t Launch Vehicle: Bottle Mk. 02-2S Mission objective: Rendezvous and dock with Futurelab. Pilots: Bill, Jebediah, and Bob Kerman Nebula-4 in orbit: Rendezvous: Docked:
  14. (edit: reuploaded to imgur) Mission 32 Payload: Futurelab core module Description: The central module of the Futurelab space station. Mass at launch: 6.220 t Launch Vehicle: Bottle Mk. 02-2S Mission objective: Launch into a low-eccentricity, low-inclination orbit around Kerbin. The second stage acted as a tug that pushed the core module to a target orbit of approximately 90 kilometers. After that, the upper stage separated and deorbited itself: The first module of the Futurelab space station:
  15. It would be really cool if JAXA had its own spaceplane.
  16. So you're already making spaceplanes. Nice job.
  17. I don't think the game is designed to simulate planetary collisions.
  18. [edit: reuploaded to imgur] Mission 31 Payload: Mouhou Project Description: A spacecraft designed to make a planetary fly-by. Mass at launch: 0.180 t Launch Vehicle: Onion Stick Mk. 04-3C Boosters (crossfeeding): 2 x JKJSPC LV-T30 liquid engines First stage: C7 Toroidal Aerospike Rocket Second stage: JKJSPC LV-909 liquid engine (w/ extended tank) Mission objective: Conduct a low fly-by of Moho. (KASDA launch vehicles now have fairings courtesy of the Fairing Factory.) Post-injection: (Initial transfer orbit) (After the course correction at the descending node) Entered Moho's SOI; another course correction was made to set the periapsis at 50 km, and on the day side. At periapsis: Departing Moho:
