  1. Granted! You receive all knowledge in the known universe and die from the overload. I wish for a newspaper.
  2. The necro limit was one month, right?
  3. I landed on Dres. Now Eeloo and Bop are the only bodies I still haven't landed on! Here's the probe Ned and its lander Caput in low Dres orbit. Here's Caput right after detaching from Ned, preparing the descent towards the surface. Caput standing safely on the surface. I didn't even need half of my fuel! And here's Ned again, alone and still in orbit.
  4. The probe duo Ned and Caput in orbit around Dres.
  5. Mothership Cersei has entered orbit around Moho and is now dispatching the Joffrey lander.
  6. I tested a new design. It has nuclear engines. I don't think it's safe to ride it.
  7. Yes. I hardly ever need it, though; it's mostly for looks. But it's definitely a lot handier than the improvised LES I used to use.
  8. I started building a new Duna ferry. It will eventually replace the old model.
  9. There is no milestone. You're not an expert because you've landed on Eve and returned; you're an expert because you were able to land on Eve and return. There's a ton of feats one could potentially accomplish in KSP, and arbitrarily designating any single one of them as the gateway to experthood just doesn't make any sense. An expert is simply someone who has learned everything there is to know about the game and knows exactly what they're doing. They may not have gotten around to return Kerbals from Eve yet, but they certainly could if they wanted to.
  10. I mostly use my imagination and pretend that the whole thing was built that way. You only see what's on the outside, after all.
  11. Because you use them. Why does my pencil sharpener always seem to break the tips off?
  12. Its physical unity at the end of its mission.
  13. 1/10 I might have seen you before, but no bells are really ringing.
  14. Aha, I see. I was merely thinking in terms of mass and fuel. But oh, well. I just like having pretty spacecraft. Fortunately, the game appears to ignore that problem. But I'm just pretending that they have a proper, built-in tank in there somewhere. Just like the real thing did.
  15. That's pretty much it for the descent stage, yes. The ascent stage has a fuel tank clipped inside the T-can, with four radial engines protruding from the bottom. The performance is the same as it would've been without it - it just made the lander a bit more compact than it would've been otherwise. Purely cosmetic, really.
  16. It's a gift from the gods! My Kerpollo lander wouldn't have been possible to make without it.
  17. It appears to happen whenever the scene is reloaded with the Kerbals still outside - they both froze when I returned to the landing site through the tracking station. I could quickload it back to a previous state where they were still inside the lander, but then I quicksaved after going back out to replant the flag, so when I for some reason decided to quickload it again, they just went back to being frozen. Irreversibly.
  18. This happened to me yesterday. It totally killed my Apollo mood.
