  1. Greetings individual. The Kommunity wants to take a moment to say hi back.
  2. You are free to disagree with each other, but please don't be rude about it while doing so.
  3. Apparently you didn't read my post well or I failed to communicate. Squad charges for what Squad does. They are not taking anyone's intellectual property if some modder happens to have already made something along the same lines as their own work. And if you don't want to pay for what Squad is doing, no one will force you. This is a really bizarre analogy. That would be unfortunate, but is hardly a reason for Squad to stop offering people new content.
  4. Hello lordbescot, and welcome to the forum.
  5. Hello yin, and welcome to our forum. Since your question is not a typical newbie greeting, it has been moved to the Support subforum so the right people will see it. Good luck with your problem.
  6. This has turned into a music sharing thread, and we already have several of those. Example.
  7. This makes it sound as if Squad is pirating someone else's code. They aren't taking anything from anybody, and will create their own content from scratch. Also, as others have pointed out, a number of things in the game now were preceded by mods which performed the same or similar functions. If Squad had not made stock equivalents, you would still be relying on mod makers to keep updating things such as docking mechanisms and rover wheels, and if that mod maker quit the game, you might no longer have any docking mechanisms and rover wheels. And as I pointed out earlier, the only way to prevent this from happening would be if Squad determined never to include anything which might be made into a mod at some point in the future. Squad cannot work backwards and try to make their product conform to the needs of the multitude of often conflicting mods available, and so they are going to do the only practical thing, which is to make stock versions of whatever they want to have in their game regardless of whether or not a modded version of that feature already exists. How would a requirement imposed by a mod's maker somehow be Squad's fault?
  8. This thread has wandered from its topic, and much of it that is on-topic is a repetition of the discussion in the Master discussion thread anyway. Time to lay this one to rest.
  9. This question has been moved to Kerbal Network. Good luck getting it resolved.
  10. To avoid this kind of overlap, Squad would have to refuse to implement anything that has been made into a mod, and also anything that someone might want to make a mod out of in the future. Which would leave them with nothing to add to the game.
  11. Almost as many times as I have forgotten to empty the capsule of an orbital rescue ship.
  12. This question about how to play the game has been moved to Gameplay Questions.
  13. This add on in-development has been moved to the Add-on Development subforum. Carry on.
  14. I made a training ship to practice docking with. It brings a couple of small ships up with it, which you can then turn loose and practice re-docking with the mothership. That way, you can concentrate on practicing the final steps of docking without having to fly a rendezvous first. You can get it here.
  15. Let's get back on-topic, please. Comparing national personalities never ends well.
  16. Modding question moved to the modding subforum. Good luck.
  17. Each version since 15 plus scads of screenshots: 28.5gigs.
  18. If it's going that fast, is it still orbiting something?
