  1. Oh my word! Simply brilliant!
  2. It has been said that the great discoveries are not announced with a cry of success but a mutter of 'That\'s odd...' Of course a lot of mistakes are found the same way! ???
  3. Something you might want to search on these forums for is Hohmann transfers. They're basically a fuel efficent method of increasing or decreasing orbit altitude. For accurate re-entry (like when trying to land at KSP) performing a transfer to a lower orbit should allow for greater accuracy on the final de-orbit. (That said, I've not managed to land near KSP without a lot of luck and/or flying in Jeb-style) Best of luck!
  4. Um, does anyone else think it looks rather a lot like the KSP logo i.e. the one top of this page?
  5. Un-Kerbaling-believable! My hat is off to you good sir! Now we just need a gun...
  6. Just realised I get to watch a live moon shot and just how incredibly amazing that is
  7. Did you mean as a government or a nation? Um, the UK is part of the ESA (European Space Agency) and that is partner in the ISS. Skylon is a private company venture, though has won a governement grant. Does look quite cool too (in fuction and I just like space planes!). So the UK is doing it's bit, though I'd like to see a lot more! And definitely manned missions again without having to rely on NASA or the Russians. Maybe when we're a bit less skint though...
  8. Very nice! Though what happened to Jeb's hair?
  9. Having 'accidently' modified the command module ejection system (think LES but stumpy) in to a nose mounted missile I see this nifty-ness that far surpases mine Nicely done missile that person!
  10. I fear this will end in a typically Kerbal fashion
  11. After cycling to college in a thunder storm a friend described me as looking like a half drowned ferret. From that moment onwards I was known as ferret and there are some friends who still don't know my real name. Add in a slight typo and the rest is history
  12. Very nice, I approve of the reusable and safe design efforts And very cunning, astronauts are indeed expensive difficult to train so they should have at least some effort to keep them in mostly one piece!
  13. Oh most excellent! Quick, to the VAaaaaBbbbbbbbbb! *rushes off*
  14. Biting, no. Random explosions, bursting in to flames, running & screaming; those you should expect! ;D
  15. Sorry to add to the list but after donating $8 only got PayPal confirmation - spam filter has nothing either [Addition] Pre-order confirmation recieved. Many thanks
  16. Thank you for this brilliant calculator. Thanks to it I've just managed a 109km orbit with an eccentricity of 0 (more luck than pilot skill but hey) and completed a Hohmann transfer from that orbit to 60km which is being neatened right now. So again cheers for the awesome! 8)
  17. Simply beautiful - I applaud you
  18. 'Onwards! We must reach onwards, further than Kerbalkind has ever reached. First we sent Kerbalnauts in to space. Then we sent them in to orbit about Kerth. Soon the moon, the other panets, the stars are in our grasp! So onwards to GLORY!!' Congratulations on the well-deserved milestone and may it be followed by more
  19. Um, yeah what it says ;D I'm from the UK, have just managed a succesful orbit (albeit a little more eccentric than hoped for but Jeb was happy) and thought really should greet my fellow rocketeers/Kerbonaut torturers. Good luck and hapy landings! (Or survivable ones at least)
