  1. Try posting in a different section of the forum (eg The Spacecraft Exchange). Keep trying, you'll get it someday!
  2. I built a few planes with ant engine hinges in Zepto Eagleworks. In fact I think I was one of the first.
  3. Two. As for scale, the core stage and SRBs are a bit too short compared to the Centaur stage, so it should look better once I lengthen it. Real life Altas V 541:
  4. I wonder if anyone noticed... Merely added fairing to it, not much else.
  5. Don't leave your shuttle (or any space plane) in orbit for too long! There's a bug that causes it to collide with the launchpad inflight: ^Shuttle went Columbia
  6. http://starchild.gsfc.nasa.gov/Images/StarChild/space_level2/srb_separation_big.gifAll you need to do is angle the thrusters and it'll be perfect! ^That took a lot of tweaking.
  7. Might have to close some intakes. Damn. How do you guys build such cool planes?
  8. What I did when it didn't move far enough was to have a "middle state". There would be landing legs that keep the part up and legs to push it down completely. Just put a docking port at the top if you want it to stay while timewarping.
  9. You'll just be 100 points away from earning another light green box. BTW I think you give me the 1000th rep point.
  10. So you can launch someyhing that is heaver than 300 tonnes? The launchpad is far to weak.
  11. Updated the Upsilon family. New fairings, new upper stage, and even a new rocket! From left to right: Upsilon P, Upsilon A, and Upsilon B. 1.0, 1.75t, and 2.5t to 100km orbit respectively. The Upsilon Heavy has been omitted because those small fairings are too small to fit anything useful that weighs 5 tonnes. I've been using these in my custom career mode game where all parts except for the KR-2L and LV-N are unlocked, and most of the funds come from science (set at 1000%). They're very useful thanks to their low cost and lifting capacity. They've effectively replaced the Epsilon series now. Now so pico any more though. :/ Downloads: A: http://www./download/zbv73kftq1lkzeo/Upsilon+A.craft B: http://www./download/c4vbqe2q76cw3ee/Upsilon+B.craft P: http://www./download/8ng13l6x3r4r1yw/Upsilon+P.craft
  12. For smaller fairings, I used structural panels to create attachment points for the panels. I beams were used instead for larger fairings.
  13. I took the krakensbane limit consideration while building. I adjusted the delta-v so that it is under 600m/s, although it'll probably hit the target before it reaches that speed. I noticed something weird while testing though: the missiles performed well in the first trail, but after reloading or quicksaving, the performance became significantly worse. Seems to effect all projectiles.
  14. Please keep in mind that these are only ground tests. Real combat results may vary.
  15. After hours of experimentation, this is the best missile I came up with: A simple, three part, 1.5 tonne missile that punches through armor and mangles the internals. Ground test shows that it outperforms zekes' Drek missiles, but I've yet to test them in combat (or in space for that matter).
  16. I live in Canada too. If stupid Motorola sold their phones unlocked here I would be rocking a moto x right now. You can try preorbing the Oneplus One on October 27, but you'll only have 1 hour to do so and there is a limited amount. The Nexus 5 (what I'm using) is pretty good too, but it costs $350 and is almost a year old.
  17. What's your budget and which country do you live in? If you're in the US, you can buy a new Moto G online for less than $200 (like others said). You can also *try* to get an Oneplus One for $300, but good luck with that.
  18. The Radeon 8570 is not a very good graphics card. I see your budget is $600. You could try building your own computer instead. It can be cheaper and you can choose the parts that best matches your budget.
  19. Nope. Only has integrated graphics. What's your budget?
  20. Nice rocket, but it's hard to tell what it looks like with the tiny images in your album.
  21. You should use the small wing panels for the interstage and fairings. Their colour matches better than the structural panels.
