Looks great, but those fairings are a bit small, don't you think? -
Looks interesting. I could help if you need me to.

Nice, can you post more pictures? -

Giggleplex777 replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Imagine a lever; the closer the fulcrum is to the center, the less force required to be exerted on one end to lift the other. It's the same principle can be applied on an aircraft, but just remember to be careful when pitching up to avoid tailstrikes. -

The CoL should be slightly behond the CoM. It is much more dangerous if the plane naturally tries to pitch up than if it pitches down because it would cause the plane to stall and flip. Also try moving the rear landing gear forward a bit and adding more wings. It should help it takeoff earlier. -

Giggleplex777 replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
A new rocket I've been working on: This one was inspired by the Energia-M and has the same payload capacity as its real-life counterpart (i.e. 36t to LKO). I'm planning on building a new launch vehicle family based on this architecture after 0.90.0 effectively broke the old ones. Don't worry, I was able to fix the Neptune X, so the Neptune family will live on. -
[1.0.3] Editor Extensions v2.12 - 23 June
Giggleplex777 replied to MachXXV's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I was just about to ragequit because of how 0.90 broke all the struts of old crafts, but it'll at least to more tolerable with this. Thanks! -
I almost raged quit when I found out that the OKTO2 didn't reaction wheels. All my probes use them and now I have to redesign everything. It would also be great if some of the of the smaller probe cores had the highest level of SAS (like what Red Iron Crown said above). We should make a separate thread about this. This, and how the lack of response from SQUAD (I posted a question in the first comment in the FAQ thread and I have yet to get a reply) is extremely disappointing and frustrating for me.

New Mk3 parts- A disappointment?
Giggleplex777 replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'm not a modeler, but I've heard that making IVAs is very time consuming. It's not as easy as it looks! -
Give the LV-T30 some gimbal
Giggleplex777 replied to CaptRobau's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
If anything, the LV-T30 would have a higher specific impulse than the T45 due to its larger engine bell. I think it would be better just to increase the gimbal range of the T45 and make the T30 more expensive. -
Mk3 Cargo bays
Giggleplex777 replied to Wanderfound's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I think the problems originates from the docking port being connected to the cargo bay's node instead of the fuel tanks (or the other way around, idk). Try surface attaching the docking port. -
I'm with you on the landing gear part. There should've been more varity long before we got the new Mk3 parts. As an addition to larger landing gear, I believe there should also be a smaller one, too. Larger sizes are planned for the next update, I believe. As for the wings, I think the old control surfaces should return, but the other parts seem fine to me. Unfortunately, I've had no luck getting SQAUD to reply to any of my suggestions or questions no matter how hard I try, so good luck getting your point across.

I don't care too much about the SAS I the capsules, but more about the reaction troque in some of the probe cores. There should at least be some troque-- no matter how miniscule, it'll still be better than having none. Most of my probes from old saves are now obsolete because I can't change their attitude. Months worth of work gone. All probe cores should have a reaction troque of at least 0.1kN/m so we can at least change the attitude of our small probes without twitchy external reaction wheels or heavy and overpowered RCS. Anyone with we?

It'll work better if you use liquid fuelled booster in this case. Maybe clip the LFO tanks inside the ET. -
Cupcake's Dropship Dealership...
Giggleplex777 replied to Cupcake...'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I wonder if it's possible load the new Mk3 parts in 0.25 and build it in the old editor. I'm not having too much funny with the new editor either. -
Isp was increased from 290s sl and 320s to 320s and 360s respectively. Gimbal range was increased from 3.0 degrees tp 5.0 degrees.

Looks like the mk55 engine is finally useful now. Time to build more asymmetric rockets!

I'm at as similar stage with my own shuttle. It doesn't take long to build the basic shape now that we have new parts, doesn't it? -

[KSP v1.1.3] Stock Bug Fix Modules (Release v1.1.3b.1 - 10 Jul 16)

I'm guessing these fixes aren't in 0.90. Such a shame. -

Hehe Anyways, I'll see what I can do. Probably won't need to change the shuttle, but the rover wheels may get in the way of the tank. We'll see. -

Definitely NOT obsolete. I can't KSP without your wonderful mod.
