  1. Nope. I clipped the seat inside some octagon trusses so I don't have to radially attach it. I decided to ditch the RCS and replace it with fuel, which makes it 50% lighter and to give it more delta-v.
  2. Here's how it kinda looks like: I was able to land on the Mun and get back!
  3. I have a feeling that this is a bad idea... "Pico" N1 with a complete LK Mun mission.
  4. I was also going to make a seat lander bu I opted out for a command pod (a bad idea). I'm going to build something similar your design now. Thanks for the inspiration!
  5. Someone could just use a jet engine to provide some electricity.
  6. I just completed 0.22-ing the N1 and the Saturn V today. The rockets work fine now, but I'm having problems with the launch clamps shifting and twisting the rocket in funny ways. As for the LK, I've made a crude version of it and stuck it on top of a N1. I don't think I can have it and the Soyuz 7K-OK on one N1 though. I also run into some weight limitations on the N1, so i couldn't add a fairing to it.
  7. Okay, so 4 (8, actually, 4 looks better) SRBs on the interstage, which simply gets jettisoned and and the S-II does not have ullage motors.
  8. Thanks! Well, not everything that I build is small: About 105 tons to orbit.
  9. Someone must have felt really depressed one day and voted my thread three stars. On another note, I'm rebuilding the Angara A7 and making it a little smaller as a response to the dislike and controversy over the use of 2.5 meter parts.
  10. From January to today, I've probably played about 200-ish hours. I think I spent more than 300 hours on the forums this year too.
  11. How are the ullage motors set up for the second stage?
  12. I like sgt_flyer's: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/35416-Saturn-V%28rev-2%29-Saturn-IB-and-Skylab
  13. The new 48-7S needs serious nerf. Instead of reducing the thrust, they increased it to 30kN! The thrust should be reduced to 18kN to keep things balanced.
  14. I think that if you replaced the middle grey tanks with orange tanks, your launcher will be able to lift 150 tons to LKO.
  15. I posted the first 0.21picture in this thread, and that's good enough for.
