  1. I see, you like to zoom climb. My own XF-104 (from 0.19, updated to 0.21). Also, F-104G with missiles:
  2. Meteosat 2 and Ariane 1: It can get to orbit with half of its third stage fuel left. KEO capable (if you want to). It is carried by an Ariane 1. It looks like it uses different propellants for different stages (Like the Ariane 1: Stage 1: Hypergolic, Stage 2: Hypergolic, Stage 3: Cryogenic, Stage 4: Solid). Has all 4 scientific instruments. It is covered with fixed solar panels (So you don't have to worry about forgetting to deploy the panels). The satellite looks like the Meteosat 2. Action group 1 is to extend the antennae. Download: http://www./download/69zny7m6rmgf9pe/Meteosat_2.craft The whole Ariane family coming soon.
  3. The Ike-1 was designed to be as minimalistic as possible so that it is both a challenging and fun to fly (at least for me).
  4. I think you're missing a small detail with the Thor missile - its missing the verniers beside the main engine. Kinda like this (on my hastily and poorly built Thor-Able): If you're interested, I built the rocket for attempts to do a gravity turn.
  5. Okay, so here's my Meteosat 2: Imgur album: It can get to orbit with half of its third stage fuel left. Update: 08/20 Give it a short description. Download: http://www./download/69zny7m6rmgf9pe/Meteosat_2.craft Thoughts on my rocket: What I was supposed to build: What I built:
  6. 1: Adding a few avionics packages seem to give SAS more force 2: The small ladder can be used as a functional heat sink; the yellow one as a pretend drill. 3: The radial engine is not completely useless:
  7. Yup, found it on page 16, and there hasn't been activity for almost a month. If you're interested: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/37745-Showcase-Post-your-Moon-Planet-Landers-Thread-Lander-building-guide
  8. I could post my Ariane 1, but it's construction is way too complicated for a new player to understand.
  9. Up to 10, actually. I'm currently rebuilding my Atlas Vs.
  10. Okay, I'm back, and I've finally gotten the confidence to use my Atlas III's RD-180 on the Atlas V: So far, I'm getting better a performance from the new first stage compared to the old ones. (Although it's (embarrassingly) on par with my (new(!)(I'm very parenthetical today )) Atlas IIAS). Also, I'm re making the front page and replacing all of the old rockets. Some sneak peaks:
  11. Damnit, I didn't get a chance to try this challenge.
  12. Wait, it took that giant rocket... to put the little probe on Duna? Nice!
  13. It's okay. It was funny while it lasted. Here's the last rocket I'll build for 3 weeks (I'll be going somewhere).
  14. Okay, this will be the last rocket I'll release for 3 weeks: Atlas I Jettison engines at 1:45 Download: http://www./download/yy9c5l31iy7aw4w/Atlas_I.craft Cya guys.
  15. Made this back in 0.19: Low center of mass and fairly stable. Had a top speed of 9.1 m/s. Edit: I tried again in 0.21 and got 9.2m/s. I'll stick a thermometer on it. Edit2: Thermometer:
  16. I did a one shot semi-precision landing on Duna today. Just a few small corrections from the edge of its sphere of influence and landed with 20km from my target (basically, Curiosity-style). That was way harder than docking.
  17. I've made Starfighters too (albeit they're stock).
