A subsidiary of Zepto Labs. Rockets with Payload N1-L3 The Russian (Soviet) Munshot! Now with the LK lander! How to fly: 1. SAS on 2. Hit space 3. Throttle up 4. Hit space again as soon as you reach 100% throttle. 5. Hit space after Blok A cutoff 6. The Blok V's engines are ignited before Blok B separation 7. Hit space to drop the Blok B 8. If you want make it realistic, jettison the Blok V after orbital insertion. Otherwise, you can use the remaining fuel to boost the rocket a bit further 9. After Blok V separation, activate the Blok G. It should get you an almost-TMI 10. Use the Blok D to complete the encounter 11. Us the Blok D to insert the L3 complex into Munar orbit. 12. Once in orbit, EVA transfer the crew (don't decouple anything) 13. Press 4 to detach the LK lander from the LOK and select "Control from here" on the docking port 14. Using the rest of the Blok D fuel and some of the LK's (jettison the Blok D when it runs out), land on the Mun. 15. When you want to return to orbit, throttle up a bit so the LK is still on the ground and then jettison the legs by pressing space. 16. Use the LOK's RCS to dock it to the LK lander 17. Press 4 to drop the LK, and then fly back to Kerbin. 18. Press space to detach the reentry pod from the rest of the LOK 19. If the parachute does not deploy, press 9. Action groups: Backspace: Abort 4: Undock ports 7: Blow up first stage 9: Deploy parachute 0: Jettison SAS Lagginess: High Imgur Album: Download: N1-L3 DSR (Duna Surveyor Rover) A Duna rover with realistic staging in a compact package. Please read the instructions carefully. Pre-flight: Time warp so that Duna is about 44 degrees counterclockwise from Kerbin. How to launch: 1. SAS on, parking brakes on. 2. Hit space 3. Throttle up 4. Hit space again as soon as you reach 100% throttle. In flight instructions & tips: 1. Make sure you do a good pitchover maneuver (I usually start at 8.5km). 2. Use the Centaur to get the spacecraft to orbit and then at a TDI orbit. 3. Jettison the Centaur once you have a good or an almost Duna encounter (preferably inside Kerbin's SOI, to make it more realistic). 4. Use the Cruise stage to make small and efficient course corrections and try to get your Duna Periapsis as low as possible. 5. Once you're in Duna's SOI, make course corrections using the Radial In node to lower your Periapsis (to 7km) from the edge of Duna's SOI. You can also change where you want to land with a combination of the maneuver nodes. AVOID MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN. 6. Jettison the cruise stage when you are less than 2 hours away from Duna periapsis or until satisfied with your trajectory. DO NOT JETTISON IT ANY EARLIER OR THE ROVER WILL RUN OUT OF POWER. Pre-entry: Make sure parking brakes are on. Landing instructions: 1. After to atmospheric effects are gone, deploy the parachute and then jettison the "heat shield". 2. Ignite the engines soon after that. 3. Once the parachute has deployed, throttle down (I usually do either to 0% or 20%). 4. Slowly and carefully land the rover by changing the throttle. The rover must touch down at less than 4m/s to prevent possible wheel damage. Post-landing procedures: 1. Jettison the engines and parachute. 2. Parking brakes off and drive away. 3. Check each solar panel for damage. If there are more than 2 damaged panels, disable the motor for the rear wheels. 4. Press 1 to extend the Communotron. 5. Have fun exploring Duna! Action groups: 1: Extend Communotron (Press this once sftely landed on Duna) Lagginess: Moderate Imgur Album: Download: DSR --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Launcher only Proton-M After more than a month of on-and-off development, I have finally completed the fifth generation of the Proton-M! It has more parts than its predecessors, but its also much more accurate. Hit space to activate the second stage engines and then start throttling up to 100%. 7. Hit space to stage. 8. After second stage cutoff, cut the throttle with X. 9. Giggleplex777 replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I made a mini N1. Doesn't have a Munar lander but it's pretty good for its size. Press 7 to reenact the fate of the N1. -

Very well, actually. I use the second one more often because it's stackable. -

Single Stage To Orbit Doesn't have to be a plane; it can be a rocket too.
