  1. 8/10 We have a space race and you're the CEO of Voyager Labs.
  2. You can do this without part clipping: Place a Rockomax X200-16 tank somewhere where you can access the top of the tank and put two Radial Attachment points on top. Flip a LV-N and put it on the point using 2x symmetry. Click a Radial Attachment point and flip it right side up and place it on the top of the tank. Pick up the tank and put it under either another fuel tank or what ever you what it under. You can put a flat adapter under the tank to make it look better. You can also put some small trusses under the adapter to make it stackable. Lots of clearance for landing legs.
  3. It's not at the end. The spike is attached to lots of cubic trusses and clipped inside the LV-N.
  4. More storage space and looks sleeker.
  5. It's big because there's the window that looks down and so that there is some room for storing stuff.
  6. Hold alt+>. this will allow you to warp in space.
  7. I have this issue when I use aerospikes. It doesn't seem to happen (at least not often) when I use the LV-T30 though.
  8. I usually gravity turn when I hit more 200 m/s. I try to stay below terminal velocity in the thick parts of the atmosphere (though most of my rockets don't even get close to it). If you are really a pro, try to get this rocket to 73 km orbit and deorbit the booster stage after you reach orbit:
  9. If you replace the two R 24-77s on the lander with a LV-909, you'll have much more Delta-v to spare.
  10. The main problem is that your rockets are draining fuel pretty fast making the plane progressively front heavy. Making the plane shorter might help.
  11. I got this probe to to Laythe orbit and a couple flybys of Jool's moons with only about 2000 m/s in LKO. It was only possible thanks to aerobraking.
  12. Building the Bat's going to be difficult. It's lift rotor is behind its center of mass.
  13. Four days ago... http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/28361-Gravity-%28Movie%29
  14. No one seems to have noticed my first reply?
  15. You have to quicksave (F5) and then quickload (F9) after you decouple (don't activate the engine). This will remove the engine shroud.
  16. Not the first; far from the first. I made this a few days after 0.19 was released.
  17. It's the Stayputnik probe core.
