Welcome for a few minutes, anyway. Once the rain stops, it's just as hot as it was, the water all evaporates, and the humidity is maxed out. And any breeze you get feels like a blast from a furnace.
-
They drain equally from all tanks. You can lock the tanks during building, and then unlock them when you reach the stage that should be using them.

Achievements? Why, whatever for? If you're having trouble remembering what you've done, keep a pencil and pad of paper near the computer.

Landing on dark side of planet?
razark replied to W. Kerman's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Note the lights under the plane, shining on the surface of the water. -
As long as we're making up time machines, can't we make up how they work, too?

Answer some archeological/historical questions.

[1.10.0] Final Frontier - kerbal individual merits 1.10.0-3485
razark replied to Nereid's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That doesn't sound fair to those folks in Kerbostationary orbit. -
Do you have a source for this number?

I agree with it in a sense. It is kind of a shame that it takes a game to get people out and "see butterflies, dragonflies, wild turkeys, turtles and some cool fungus", rather than just the joy of going outside and seeing those things in themselves. I think it would be better to see a widespread attitude of "I went on a walk to see nature" rather than "I went to play a game, and there was some nature there." But maybe it will inspire people to realize everything that is out there, and get some more people walking about without needing an excuse. That can't be a bad thing.

Scrounging for funding.

I'm still not seeing why it changes the story. I could understand if there was a Mun Arch at KSC, or if you were basing the story on a newly discovered monolith in another location, but why can't you just disregard or repurpose the monolith at KSC? It's completely different from your "target" anomaly, so you can treat it as something completely different.

Only what the game has earned, rightly or not. The complaints are about the (probably few) bad players and aspects of the game. As long as people aren't causing a nuisance and the game doesn't encourage them to become a problem, then have at it. Remember, the problems with the game are going to surface quickly and are going to get a lot of notice early on, but as time passes and it settles down, things will most likely smooth out. Please do. Hearing about some of the benefits might help to reduce those complaints you've seen here. I just spent a few hours with a friend and one of my children learning about the game. I will admit that my view on the game has changed. (And I also found a new park I hadn't been aware of.)

Because if you have drivers paying attention to pokemon instead of operating their vehicle, it can become a safety issue, or a traffic obstruction issue. Or an annoyance issue as headlights repeatedly invade your house as people drive around in circles. I'm not saying this is common, just pointing out that it could be enough of a reason.

Yes. I get that point. But just because you can see it doesn't mean you have to. Or that you have to accept it as an out-of-place artifact. What anomaly? It's just part of the landscape in the background, and you don't even need to really acknowledge that it exists in the first place. or: "Hey, what's the thing?" "Oh, you mean that historical monument over there? Yeah, some people aren't happy with it, but it's really not important to what we do over here, so we just don't really talk about it." Story continues from this point without ever acknowledging the monolith's existence ever again.

I think they should have put in some more time in culling out locations before release. http://money.cnn.com/2016/07/12/technology/pokemon-go-holocaust-arlington/index.html

1971 General Motors/Boeing LRV. A compact electric vehicle that's out of this world.

My favorite was from BURN_BABY_BURN--MASTER_IGNITION_ROUTINE.s "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE"

It's not exactly a completely random residential area. The end of the cul-de-sac has a small family cemetery. There's a handful of Confederate veterans buried there, so there's also a historical marker. There aren't any signs leading to it, just a small burial plot in a small town that grew up into a major suburb. It's usually pretty quiet, but it does get busy on Halloween. And for who knows what reason, prom night, with limos and formal wear in abundance. (Seriously, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?) We're guessing the gym is tied to the marker, and not the cemetery itself, because that would just be odd.
-
Maybe it means it still has an atmosphere instead of a chromosphere?
-
I've come to hate the game with a bit of a passion over the past few days. Some friends of mine live on what used to be a nice quiet cul-de-sac. For the last several days, they've had a massive increase in traffic, cars driving down, circling, and parking in the middle of their street. Strange people showing up, sitting on the sidewalk for a while, and leaving. It's been quite disturbing, since there are four of our families with kids that hang out at that house on a regular basis. I do appreciate the one person that bothered to stop and offer an explanation, however. Go put your godsdamned "gym" somewhere else.

How does that work? Shouldn't it be version 1.13.x?
-
Ah, you mean at the current time. I misunderstood. I lived in East Texas at the time, so I actually dealt with people who intended to go out and collect debris.
-
Every single piece of debris was possibly needed for the investigation. Aside from that, you have to consider that the debris also included potentially hazardous chemicals and human remains.
