Tapes, people still use tapes for recording computer data? I thought they went out from use, long before I was born: D Although I remember when I was a kid and my older brother borrowed a computer from his best friend. I remember that this computer is loaded game from audio tape, It took forever to load the game from the tape also those awful sounds:D -

Maximum weight for astronaut/space tourist
Pawelk198604 replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
This is outrageous, how can you ask a passenger with something. It's not discrete specificity to ask a woman about her weight. Probably if the airline employee asked about something like this Polish woman was slapped by that such a woman, even if she got on with it in the famous no-fly list:D -
Recently I ran AVG Defrag that analyzed the fragmentation on disks, installation program, pointed out that I have 34% fragmentation on the system partition C, and recommended that "full defragmentation" but why it goes so damn slow. I started the defragmentation some one and a half hours ago, and far did defragmentation only 22% of the total disk C drive has 465 GB capacity,.

Maximum weight for astronaut/space tourist
Pawelk198604 replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I wonder what is the average weight, American and Russian astronauts / cosmonauts, the assumption that not everyone of them , that they also men who are really big weigt, not necessary fat, but mucular. Like American who was used to be in American Football team in his Uni, or Russian one who was hockeist in the past:D -
I wonder if there is a top limit for those willing to undergo space travel. For example, I am ashamed to admit but I have nearly 140 kg in weight , not long ago I lost a little but not much. I know that at the start of the astronaut weighs 3.5 times more than usual, so I wonder if there are any weight limits for astronauts or space tourists.

Recently I view the internet and more specifically youtube, and came across the intro of the Japanese anime "Sailor Moon" which was known in Poland as "Czarodziejka z Księżyca - Sorceress form Moon" I was not a big fan of "Sailor Moon" maybe if I was a girl I liked it more, but I'm a guy and I do not like Anime, except maybe Dragon Ball, but this detail. About Sailor Moon reminded me after seeing this guy, "Niekryty Krytyk" Our Polish wannabee "Nostalgic Critic":) Decided to google something about "Sailor Moon" i than i typed "Sailor Mun" instead of "Sailor moon" and here is what I found Sailor Mun:D

Pawelk198604 replied to Pawelk198604's topic in The Lounge
Trolley almost forgot about them, there are a few towns in Poland with trolleybus lines, but they are slowly being replaced by trams and city buses usual, never rode a trolley -
I watched once interviewed a famous Polish actor, moreover, I do not know exactly who he is the celebrity anyway. He said that after returning to school, the teacher asked the typical task that writes the majority of students around the world., Memories of the holidays, they had to write the most wonderful memories of the holidays, the guy wrote about the landing of Apollo 11, he give him (2) which is (F) in anglosaxon schhol grading failing grade, a teacher failed him because he spreads imperialist propaganda:D

My mother said that the whole family and my aunt's neighbors, they were deeply moved when Armstrong said, "It's one small step for man but a giant leap for mankind" which moved speaker translated into Polish as "To mały krok dla człowieka ale wielki dla ludzkości" Mom said that the whole family seemed as if the world has become like a little smaller. I once read on the internet memories of older Poles, my countrymen are grateful to the First Secretary Gierek that rose above divisions east-west and did not block the broadcast, despite he later had some diplomatic problems with Brezhnev in Moscow.

Poland and Hungary is a unique countries, our two countries love freedom and we do not like how someone from outside imposes their own opinion on us, we like to have their own opinion on every subject. But both Poland and Hungary, often ignored "requests" of our "fraternal" Soviet Union, but most Eastern bloc countries have followed blindly with in the Soviet Union. On TV they said that most of the socialist countries did not broadcast the Apollo 11
-
As i talked about him with my parents, both my mother and how and late dad. They told me that many misses with the first secretary Gierek. He built a lot of apartment blocks, inter alia, that where I live. As i watched current affairs program in which many of our Polish politicians, even those with right-wing, speaks of him with affection, some time sarcastically added that he may have been a commie, but he was a good commie: D Although he was forced to step down, in the early 80's due to the deteriorating economic situation of Polish, which in turn led to the creation of Solidarity, the rest probably all know: D Gierek was blamed for everything because he created the national debt in the billions of dollars, borrowed money both within the Eastern Bloc and in the capitalist countries. The truth is that for the money he borrowed from other countries, a Polish expanded infrastructure and industry. Many of the factories nowadays mostly privatized works until today.

Did you know that my country Poland is only country in former eastern block which made live broadcast of Apollo 11 lunar landing:D In communist Poland not everyone could to afford own tv sets. My mom once told that with all family she watched Neil Armstrong at my aunt her sister private tv set (Poland was only country in communist block who broadcast Apollo 11 lunar landing for with your communist party first secretary Edward Gierek was scolded by Leonid Brezhnev, for spreading the American imperialist propaganda, but our First Secretary Gierek replied that Brezhnev regrets that hurt our fraternal Soviet Union, but he couldn't deprive citizens of Poland, such epochal events like landing on the moon, even if it made by the U.S. imperialists)

Is it appropriate for adult adult watching cartoons
Pawelk198604 replied to Pawelk198604's topic in The Lounge
I often talk with my mom thus shy often yells at me for working on computer in late night, as it now almost 3 AM, if she knew that i'm writing on forum and not sleeping my she would certainly scolded for that, she often told that i have spent to much time on computer, i'm working on my college assignments and writing here BTW Speaking about scolding what do you think about our Polish first secretary Gierek, who decided that Polish state TV would live broadcast Neil Armstrong and buzz Aldrin lunar landing to the Polish public, despite Soviet Union and Brezhnev objections?
